Week of June 8: Venus/Jupiter Conjunction:

The week ahead (starting June 8) starts on an emotional high tide, thanks to Venus especially shining bright in the night sky and forming a conjunction with Jupiter in Cancer. This water element conjunction is exact on June 9 but will continue to hold sway over most of the week ahead.

Venus teamed with Jupiter can be a fortuitous, enrichening, and ladened with promise pairing. You could feel gifted by the moment’s offering or outpouring, by the nourishment you gain from a relationship exchange, or by the grace and growth potential that is given to you through synchronicity/the unseen forces.

On the other hand, this Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Cancer can make you feel emotionally overwhelmed, insecure, or in more need. In general, Venus attracts or magnetizes, while Jupiter increases and expands. Together, they can increase vulnerability or set an opportune backdrop. This planetary pairing is accompanied on June 9 by Mercury/Saturn on a corner turn (breakthrough aspect, potentially productive) and on June 10 by Pluto/Ceres in a seeding and harvesting trine (dual application, or two-way influence). Combined, these transits infuse the moment with significant potency.

Venus in Cancer finishes the week (June 12) in a turning point (moving past the past) angle to Chiron (insightful learning and growth).  June 13 to July 9, Venus in Leo, enhances the potential to make the most of your gifts. In general, Venus in Leo enhances the ability to stay heart centered and to find inner resilience. Depending on how the transit applies you to personally, more attention and favour can come your way. Under this transit, you will feel an increased desire to create more joy, to gift yourself more. Needless to say, better reward and more fulfillment are always worthwhile endeavours. Under this transit, the ambition holds better prospect too. Consider this short transit as a prequel to Jupiter’s one year tour of Leo which will start on June 29.

Chiron enters Taurus on June 19. Coinciding with the start of Jupiter in Leo, Mercury in Cancer begins a three-week retrograde tour on June 29 (to July 23). I’ll write more on these transits in the coming weeks.
