ASTROLOGY & TAROT CLASSES:
ONE DAY TAROT WORKSHOP: THE MAJOR ARCANA
In this confidence-building workshop, Rose will introduce the Major Arcana.
These first twenty-two cards of the Tarot deck describe the archetypical initiation journey of the Sacred Fool. This course, which encourages active class participation, aims to stimulate creative thought and to provide an encouraging environment through which the student can learn to gain trust in their intuitive skills.
The Major Arcana can be read independently from the remaining four suits. By the end of the day, students should feel confident to apply that which has been learned in class to read for themselves, or to offer simple readings to others.
Please bring your own Ryder Waite Tarot deck to class. This deck is readily available in most bookstores and metaphysical shops. If you own other decks, please feel free to bring them to class, comparison can also provide a wonderful tool for learning.
Combined, the One Day Workshop and the 5 Week Tarot course completes the instruction for the full Tarot deck.
5 WEEK TAROT CLASS: THE MINOR ARCANA
This 5 week course continues to build on the instruction provided by the One Day Workshop (see above). Each week a different suit will be discussed – cups, wands, swords and pentacles. As with the One Day workshop, Rose will provide instruction on various card spreads. The Ryder Waite deck will be used for instruction; students are encouraged to bring any other decks they may have to class.
BEGINNER ASTROLOGY: 6 wks
This course is an excellent foundation for general interest and for those who want to prepare for serious astrological study. The basics (planets, signs, houses, elements, rulerships, lunar phases as an introduction to aspects) are taught from the Evolutionary Astrology perspective and are presented in a logical building block format. This class can be suitable for absolute beginners as well as for those with some astrological background. This course will also introduce some of the basics of Evolutionary Astrology.
