November Overview:
It’s a new day dawn for politics, most notably in British Columbia, Washington, and Israel. At the time of this writing, there is no clear winner for Israel’s national election, the first since the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attack. Apparently, the outcome could take a few weeks (which is timed perfectly with November’s transits.)
November 3, USA Midterm Election:
The US mid-term election happens on November 3, with the transiting moon moving through Virgo, a correction archetype. It is also a last quarter lunar phase, which is a restructuring influence. The election is also under the influence of the sun/Mercury retrograde inferior conjunction (exact on November 4) which marks a shift of attention and momentum (from information gathering to implementation, a next phase begins.) On November 5, Pluto and Juno, the contract asteroid, come to the table to start next level negotiations in earnest, something they’ve been attempting since April.
Here is Trump’s chart with the election transits:

Mars in Leo (to November 25):
For the month ahead (and the USA mid-terms), all planetary bodies in transit through the sign of Aries are on retrograde cycles. Here is the list: Neptune, Saturn, Chiron, Eris, asteroids Pallas Athene and Vesta. Due to this, the motivation drive and creative force of Mars (ruler of Aries) gains a clear runway. Watch for Mars, the action planet, to operate at optimum strength for most of November. On its own, Mars in Leo is a dynamic manifesting influence. The sun’s transit through Scorpio and Sagittarius (sign switch happens on November 22/23 depending on your time zone) infuses Mars with added creative potential. Stacking the potential even more, Mars gains additional turbo from conjunctions with Jupiter and the karmic axis (south node) in Leo. Mars/Jupiter/south node are at peak from November 12 through the super full moon on November 24. Watch these full swing trigger dates: November 15 – 19.
November 13: Venus and Mercury end retrograde on the same day:
Venus began a six-week retrograde cycle on October 3 in the sign of Scorpio. On October 25, Venus backtracked into Libra. One day earlier, (October 24), Mercury began a three-week retrograde cycle in Scorpio. Both end their retrograde tours on November 13, Mercury is first, Venus stations direct 8 hours later. Venus will continue in transit through Libra to December 4. (She’ll clear the post retrograde status by December 12.)
Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, an excavating and exposing influence, targets the specifics of the review or re-meet process (i.e. key people, key circumstances). As stated above, early on November 4, Mercury retrograde meets with the sun by inferior conjunction. This inferior conjunction (the midpoint of the retrograde cycle) and Juno/Pluto (balsamic conjunction, new phase starts November 5) holds sway over the USA mid-term election on November 3.

More about Venus in transit:
A recap from October: Venus retrograde puts fate and destiny into play in some dynamic or obvious way. Encompassing a full moon, several elections, protests in France, and action escalations elsewhere, Venus was at maximum potency over the weekend of October 23 to 26. Venus retrograde in Libra can swing things to an opposite – and/or an opposite extreme (as was witnessed with the landslide victory for the Conservative Party in British Columbia. Read more on that election here: https://rosemarcus.com/election-british-columbia-oct-24-2026/
For the second half of the retrograde cycle, Venus in Libra explores fresh or added options. The transit can give added breathing space and/or move it along with greater ease (that ease could have a double edge to it). Additionally, on Oct 24, Juno, the contract asteroid, advanced into the sign of Aquarius. Juno in Aquarius sets an acceleration backdrop for relationship reinvention and the breaking new ground. Travelling in close proximity to Pluto, Juno in Aquarius can act like wild card influence too. Even so, the current action track wears the label of fate and destiny in dynamic play.
The archetype of Libra correlates to diplomacy, cooperation, and collaboration. Equality, justice, and contractual agreements also fall under the sign’s banner. Recent political happenings have reflected Venus retrograde in Libra: President Trump has adjusted some tariffs on Canada and there has been talk of USA/Canada trade negotiations picking up momentum; Prime Minister Carney convened a First Ministers and First Nations leadership meeting for the first time in two decades.
Juno in Aquarius:
Juno, the contract asteroid, is activated over the first two weeks of the month. November 5 Juno and Pluto set a new four-year intention contract. Together, they set a backdrop for reinventing relating and relationships at all levels (personal, social, political, collective). The action track is a continuous work in progress, especially through this last quarter of 2026 and first half of 2027. Modifications are to be expected along the way, but if you are looking for significant change, feel encouraged that this transit (and the rest of the stellar influences) now set a fresh window of opportunity over this next month or so (especially mid-month forward). November 12, Mercury/Juno are on a breakthrough trigger. This date (and the days that follow) could produce a fresh insight, conversation, opportunity, or avenue. By November 18, Mercury/Juno turn a corner and are ready to move on. (Juno in Aquarius: March 29 – August 11; October 23 – January 14, 2027).
Mid November: Action peak of the month:
Good headway can be made over the month ahead, especially once Venus and Mercury retrograde are out of the way. November 12 to 20, and more specifically, November 15 to 19, set an escalation and/or growth backdrop. (Markets are likely to hit an upswing or added volatility.) Potentials are at peak. Take your best shot and you could gain more or get further ahead than you might at some other time. There are several planetary shifts from November 21 to 25, but don’t expect much ease up on full throttle/full swing through the first few days of December.
Last ten days of the month:
Super full moon in Gemini, November 24
Mars enters Virgo, November 25
The last ten days of the month encompass the following: November 21, Ceres in Cancer begins retrograde; November 22/23, the sun enters Sagittarius; November 24, super full moon in Gemini; November 25, Mars enters Virgo. November 28, Vesta turns retrograde; November 30, Pallas Athene turns retrograde.
November 21: Ceres in Cancer stations retrograde:
A seeding and harvesting influence, asteroid Ceres entered Cancer on August 12 (the day of the solar eclipse in Leo) and continues in this sign through May 21, 2027. Ceres tours retrograde from November 21 to February 23 (retro: 24 Cancer; direct: 10 Cancer). This transit puts the focus on safety/safeguards, protection, security, and comfort zones regarding home base (family, home, real estate; domestic & national). While in retrograde, Ceres can set up an incubation or gestation backdrop. Both Ceres (end of May onward) and Mars (April onward) optimize the spring and early summer for implementation, fresh pursuits and next chapters.
November 24: Super Full Moon in Gemini:
Things to do, conversations to have, places to go, people to see -the action hits full swing as the super full moon in Gemini energizes on November 24. Pre-Christmas marketing is likely to hit full swing too. This super full moon precedes the USA Thanksgiving, so expect the beginning of the week to be extra busy everywhere. There could be something noteworthy re political negotiations or trade talks, or heightened activity re trading markets, travel, transport, and commerce. A key someone can be a newsmaker – whether that’s to do with the outer world action or a private life matter. November 23, the sun’s trine to Neptune sets an opportunity backdrop for a potential to bear fruit. The super full moon is well aligned with Uranus (conjunction) and Pluto (trine). This suggests synchronicity and timing is at optimum, that there is an opportunity to connect the dots, for things to fall into place, or for stream of consciousness and/or spontaneity to deliver well. Here is the November 24, super full moon chart:

November 25: Mars enters Virgo:
The USA Thanksgiving hosts a moon in Cancer (the home and family sign). Along with Mars freshly into Virgo, for those celebrating the holiday, it is a good day to simplify plans and expectations, to spend quality time with family, and/or to give yourself extra time to catch up with yourself.
Mars leaves Leo for Virgo on November 25, but we will get another dose – and potentially more benefit – from the Mars in Leo in a couple of months from now. From November 25 to February 21, Mars in Virgo turns the attention toward what needs correction, repair, improvement, healing, upgrade, cleaning, or clearing. To be sure, one way or another, Mars in Virgo puts you to work. It can put you on the hunt for a better, more workable solution, or a missing key. The transit can set up an elimination process, a trial run, or stress test period. By showing you the deficiency or flaw, what doesn’t work, or what isn’t strong enough to go the distance, Mars in Virgo can set you on the path toward finding better solutions, toward becoming more efficient or discerning. Clear your clutter, simplify as best you can. Use this transit to upgrade your services, to see a specialist, to make sure your vehicle, etc. is in good working condition. To the plus, Mars in Virgo is well used to improve your health and diet regimes. The health of your pet can also gain attention during this transit.
Mars will tour retrograde from January 10 to April 1. The cycle will start in Virgo, but end in Leo. Due to this retrograde transit, Mars will spend longer animating a particular area of your chart. Expect to feel driven by an objective or circumstance that will continue to develop over an extended number of months. Look to Mars to take you/us through unfolding creative development, a refinement process, more trial and error, and/or a course correction through mid-July 2027.
End of month wrap up:
November 28, Asteroid Vesta (a protection and safety archetype) ends retrograde. November 30, Pallas Athene (warrior goddess, justice seeking) ends retrograde. They are the first two of the stellium (group) in Aries to end retrograde cycles. Saturn in Aries will end retrograde by December 10, and Neptune will end retrograde by December 12. Chiron and Eris will be retrograde for a few more months, but there is no better time than right here and right now to look and listen, to feel your way along, to recenter, and reclaim your courage.
My best wishes to those celebrating Thanksgiving!
