The nature of Mars/Uranus (conjunction) is typically sudden, disruptive, and unexpected. All astrologers have been keeping an eye on this transit, esp those who include the fixed stars as the conjunction is aligned with Algol, (known as the demon star).The exact conjunction (perfection of) Mars/Uranus happens on Monday (July 15, 7:04 am PDT). Expect the intensity dial/eventfulness to continue for the next few days (at least).
In addition to the transit chart itself, note the added stimulation re planetary nodes (outer wheel):
both Pluto nodes in aspect to the sun
South Node of Mars conjunct S. Node;
South Node of Mercury conjunct Mercury;
North Node of Chiron conjunct moon (opposition to transit chart Chiron);
Uranus nodes triggering the horizon (Ascendant/Descendant).
Casualties:
Corey Comperatore, a retired firefighter, lost his life while shielding his wife and daughters. Two others were critically injured, David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter, was fatally shot by Secret Service agents.
Below is the chart of the Crooks (inner wheel), with the event chart on the outer wheel. The birth time for the shooter is unknown, so the natal chart has been drawn using 0 Aries for the Ascendant. Interestingly, the natal chart has a Mars/Uranus conjunction, although in different signs than the event chart (Uranus in Aquarius, Mars in Pisces). Natal Mercury in Virgo is at station – it turned direct (ended retrograde) just under 5 hours after his birth. The moon degree is unknown (due to the unknown birth-time), so we cannot be sure of how tight the conjunction is for the moon to Saturn and Ceres in Cancer. At the very least, Saturn, Moon, and Ceres in opposition to Chiron in Capricorn suggests a significant pool of displaced/buried emotions. When repressed emotions (perhaps repressed for life times) are triggered, they can be significantly forceful. This triple conjunction opposite Chiron could suggest a ticking time bomb signature regarding what’s bottled up and buried. (Please note that comment is made in observation of the shooter’s action taking. Every individual will relate to their own chart in unique ways. Another individual may relate or respond to this triple conjunction in an entirely different way.) Note also, the Scorpio south node is disposited by Pluto in Sagittarius (a lone wolf signature).
The event chart below (using Trump’s chart (inner wheel) for the angles, places the Mars/Uranus conjuction on the Midheaven (Midheaven degree picks up the fixed star Algol). Crooks sun in trine to the Mars/Uranus conjunction demonstrates how a trine aspect can facilitate a creative opportunity. Event chart (outer wheel) transit of Saturn in Pisces (outer wheel, 7th house) in direct opposition to the shooter’s Mercury retrograde (birth chart position is at station and just under 5 hours before during direct/ending retrograde). Both the Saturn/Mercury opposition and the event transit of Neptune in opposition to the shooter’s sun allowed for Crooks to escape notice.
