December opens on the upswing thanks to Mars in Aquarius picking up speed with Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus through December 6. Put yourself into action over the first week and you should find can get yourself someplace good. The sun in Sagittarius aligns with Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus from December 9 to 11. These few days can feel like a second energy wave. Expect more of everything on the go. It’s likely to be the peak weekend for office parties. On the broader scale, Saturn in Sagittarius in trine to Uranus is a good transit for a faster move along, for personal, professional, and lifestyle upgrades. This transit is just getting under way now and gains in strength as the month advances. It will be one of the feature transits for 2017.
Another feature transit for 2017 that is getting under way now is the building opposition between Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries. This transit hits the first of three meet-ups on December 26. Even though transits for Christmas day/Hannukah, look like some of the best I’ve seen for a few years, this Jupiter/Uranus transit is likely to keep our attention focused on next/the future, instead of the present.
While Saturn/Uranus can be considered as creating a natural progression, Jupiter/Uranus brings it up to speed with more of a sudden break-through feel. Jupiter/Uranus can dish up the unexpected, the radical, or the opportune. Essentially, Jupiter’s transit is re-stimulating the 2012 -2016 Uranus/Pluto transit that has been creating the shake-not-stir change and upheaval regarding our personal lives, and political, social, and geophysical landscapes too. Jupiter in Libra puts social trends and relationships (at all levels) into a much fuller swing. Ideas, opinions, and involvements can change in flash.
Mercury into Capricorn on December 2 is a helpful influence for staying organized and for getting it under better control. It draws attention to the fact that time is short, time is limited. The past, the old and traditional get more of our attention too.
The super full moon in Gemini on December 13 also stimulates Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. It’s an informing and trend setting full moon. The opposition with Saturn suggests coming to a finish line or end, but what’s more important is what this full moon sets up. From here, we are onto a fresh or next track pronto quick.
You are wise to get your shopping done early while the stars go easy on us. By December 19, Mars advances into Pisces and Mercury turns retrograde. These two transits will produce a noticeable momentum shift. It’s time to unplug from the outworld and to enjoy the holidays. Even if you are alone and feeling sad or left out, know that Jupiter/Uranus will keep you moving along just fine. Look forward, not back.
December 26, Jupiter opposes Uranus. December 27, delivers a new moon in Capricorn and December 28, Uranus ends retrograde. I suspect the holiday will come and go in a flash.
December 31, the moon in Aquarius sets up a good backdrop for ringing in the New Year with the crowds, with a few good friends, or on your own. Mars in Pisces conjunct Neptune is a good transit for enjoying movies, music, romance, or sleep. Spiritual observance is appealing to some. If you indulge in alcohol or other such recreations, please know your limits, play it safe, plan a ride home.
I wish you all the best for the holidays! May your spirit stay bright and may you find peace within your heart.
From me to you with love,
Rose
