November opens with the roll-out from the recent lunar eclipse still casting its shadow. Aim to make full use out of the resources at hand, despite the challenge or pressure, despite what there is to face or confront. This starting point includes more research, significant soul searching, and an examination of your emotional reality. When you look deeper into yourself, what are you digging up? The month ahead sets up a peel-it-back, step-by-step work in progress. Watch for the reality and your inner process to unfold a layer at a time.
At month’s start, the sun, Mars, Mercury, and Ceres are in transit through Scorpio. Whether the base is an empowerment mission, a need, a crisis, or an obsession, this group provides ample incentive to spur you on. Trust that what you don’t know, can’t find, or can’t piece together for yourself quite yet will soon show itself. Top among Scorpio’s best talent is the ability to hit the target regarding what is most essential, expedient, potent, and of value. That could translate into a desire or ambition showing good promise, or the feeling of being subjected and having to grind your way through it. If the journey is difficult for you, know there is the bigger picture requirement in the works. The Scorpio archetype aims to eliminate whatever limitation or resistance may be in the way of progress. When operating at its best, Scorpio, the master strategist and powerplay archetype, holds a talent for astute planning and for utilizing timing to one’s best advantage.
Whether to the minus or to the plus, Nov 2 can set bigger wheels in motion. The sun’s creative force is at peak. Sun/Jupiter (conjunction) can amplify or increase what is already on go, but you may not see your way clear until several key transits pull back the curtain and turn up the light. To November 3, Venus/Neptune (opposition) can keep you guessing or chasing the elusive potential. Once past this transit, uncertainty or confusion can start to clear. November 4, Mercury/Ceres (conjunction) and Uranus (in opposition) can revitalize, enlighten, and awaken – in some abrupt, unexpected or acceleration way. Mercury/Ceres sets a backdrop for forging ahead or forcing the agenda forward with determination and despite obstacles. This is a rebuild, revisit, or powerplay transit, perhaps with significant revisions. A change of format or strategy can hold greater advantage or sway. Also on November 4, Saturn in Pisces ends a five-month retrograde cycle. As time moves forward, the potential will colour itself in, and in so doing, develops into something more tangible, substantial, and real.
November 8 to 13:
Uncovering the problem, shortfall, or the vulnerability is halfway to solution. The end of Venus in Virgo can place you at the start of a productive track regarding the task at hand. November 8 to December 4, Venus in Libra shifts the focus from the necessary to the desirable, from what is lacking or missing, and onto more pleasant and pleasing draws. Venus in Libra prefers ease and the win/win, wants to create more peace, better harmony, to find a better balance. Rapport, relationships, and social opportunity can hit an upswing. There is a tendency toward less complaining, more accommodation. In general, Venus makes for more pleasantry, and easygoing interaction. Under this transit, folks can be more open and supportive, more willing to share, cooperate, collaborate, or team up. When operating at its best, Venus in Libra enhances emotional receptivity and listening skills. Counselling or advice can be worthwhile. This transit is well used to negotiate a contract or for legal undertakings. Don’t hesitate to spend to enhance your professional profile, your marketing, or physical appearance.
November 9, Mercury leaves deep, dark, and obsessive Scorpio, for lighter and brighter Sagittarius. As of November 10, Mercury surpasses Saturn’s deadline, restriction, or hold-up. November 11 to 13, puts what has been in the works or pending into an immediate full swing escalation and/or fast track. Mars/Uranus (opposition November 11), sun/Uranus (opposition November 13) and the new moon in Scorpio (November 13) mark the weekend as the intensification peak of the month. These transits set up the potential to make a significant breakthrough, and to shatter the sound barrier (metaphorically speaking).
Mercury exits Sagittarius on December 1, but it will not stay away for long. Mercury retrograde (December 12/13 to January 1) begins in Capricorn but revisits Sagittarius from December 22/23 (depends on your time zone) to January 13. Keep an eye on what enlarges in scope this month and/or claims more of your attention (including what is on the roster for the future). It will keep you well occupied for the next two months or so.
Second half of November:
November 17, 19, and 22/23 can be jump-start or launch dates. Seeding a new initiative, Mars, and Ceres team up with the sun (November 17 and 19 respectively) and with each other (November 22/23). Both Mars and Ceres are revitalizing. Each in their own way and together, they are enlivening. They infuse fresh fuel into prospects and potentials. November 17 to 23, (and November 27 onward) sets a backdrop for “off with the old, onto the new or next.” November 17 to 23 can also be a time of transition. You could find yourself working your way through a temporary undertaking, or preliminary phase. You could be consumed with forging ahead, pushing forward, getting over the hump, and/or extricating yourself from added pressure.
As of November 22, retailers and plan makers will hit full swing on the holidays. In the air and on the ground, the start of Sagittarius month puts more people on the move. This year’s USA Thanksgiving is likely to hold a somber and poignant tone. Even more people will struggle through all the year end holidays. It is but another reminder to never let the moment slip by, to embrace it as fully as you can.
Mars into Sagittarius, starting November 24, coincides with the Black Friday retail fest. A growth and upswing transit, in general, Mars in Sagittarius (to December 19) is a good transit for making the most of what you have to work with and for spreading that wealth (the best of you) around. This transit sets a good backdrop for travel, sports, outdoor activities, gift giving and enjoyments, concerts and holiday activities, vacations, or for the spiritual side of life. Enlarging the scope, Mars in Sagittarius is well used for looking ahead, for moving beyond and moving forward, and for taking a leap of faith. Do not hesitate to explore more options, broaden your search or your knowledge base, or to relocate for better opportunities.
Also following the Thanksgiving interlude, Cyber Monday (November 27) falls on the full moon in Gemini. Traditionally Black Friday and Cyber Monday are big revenue dates for retailers. Although there are sure to be great bargains to be had, tension from planet Saturn could result in less spending and a show of more restraint. The full moon in Gemini could ignite second guessing, see a repeat, a backtrack, or yet another round. A second wind could be to the plus. Even so, while you could revisit or repeat something that worked well for you previously, don’t bank on the promise. Ask more questions, do more research. Make sure to have bird in hand before you move forward or invest more. Something temporary or short term can be a step in the right direction, especially so considering another Mercury retrograde is soon in action.
