March opens on the heels of a triple conjunction between the sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Pisces. A solidifying threshold has been crossed. It is one that defines the present reality baseline. You may have felt this triple conjunction in your own life as an ending of significance, or a cementing process. Saturn in Pisces can dissolve an illusion. It can expose something important that may have previously gone unnoticed or uncover hidden potential. You can’t get lost time back again, but you can certainly make use of the time you have. (Befitting words for Saturn in Pisces from Joni Mitchell – something is lost, but something is also gained.)
Venus and Mars are at the start of their next two-year initiative aimed at self discovery and personal reinvention through the venue of relationships. The cycle has launched in the sign of Aquarius, an awakening, liberating, revolutionizing, and acceleration archetype. In addition to the focus on breaking past patterns of relating and reinventing lifestyles, Venus and Mars are also aiming for a software upgrade on the social and political fronts (..much needed and long overdue!).
This Venus/Mars cycle holds significant karmic potency over this next two-year period. There is greater than average potential to recall a special relationship from a past life. The recall experience can be yet another look at the trauma, a liberation breakthrough, or calling forth of reward and fruition.
There is always something on the go, always something to claim your attention (or to distract you) while Venus (to March 11) and Mars (to March 22) tour Aquarius. Both are enlivening for social and political matters. March 3, (Venus/Uranus) and March 9 (Mars/Uranus) can spark a fresh insight or fresh incentive. Something spontaneous can fit the bill quite nicely. (March 9 could also be triggering or inflaming. Something unexpected or unforeseen could overtake the day. Let passion, not anger, be the driving force.)
March 8, Mercury teams up with Neptune in Pisces. March 10 delivers a super new moon in Pisces. Venus enters Pisces on March 11. Whether you plan nothing or something, a long weekend could hit the spot quite nicely. Coinciding with spring break month, both this and the following weekend (through March 23) are ideal for taking time out, to rest, regroup, or for a vacation get-aways.
On another note, the month ahead puts more than average on brew thanks to four planets in Pisces at month’s start, and four planets in Pisces at month’s end. There is more stirring the pot.
Mercury enters Aries on March 9 (the same day Mars/Uranus light a spark.) Typically, Mercury transits a sign in a couple of weeks, but know that Mercury will continue to tour Aries through May 15. The reason for this extended stay is due to the next Mercury retrograde cycle, April 1 to 25. The Pisces backdrop can keep the guesswork or uncertainty going and/or blurs clear vision, but quick acting and quick-thinking Mercury in Aries aims straight for its target. As of about mid month, Mercury is already in the pre-shadow or warm-up to April’s retrograde cycle. Watch for triggers, do not discount first impressions or your intuition. You may get a preview to what is on the road ahead.
Mercury can also function as a preliminary trigger for the lunar eclipse in Libra on March 25 and the total solar eclipse in Aries on April 8. The lunar eclipse in Libra is a work in progress regarding something long standing and with significant karmic implication (a recall/revisit set up to break patterns of the past). It brings to light an imbalance, an enmeshment or codependency issue. The most important part of this consciousness raising eclipse prompts an evaluation process meant to advance your ability to reconcile with yourself, primarily, to figure out what serves you best. Once you can be at one with yourself, once you find the courage to partner up with yourself in a more well rounded/wholistic fashion, you will automatically change the call forth/energy exchange between you and another, or between you and it. It is the start of creating a bettered equilibrium, so that your inner and outer experience is not in conflict but in alignment with expectations and desires, so that a win/win is achieved on all fronts. At times, things need to swing to an extreme and to be revisited multiple times before the balance can be achieved. This lunar eclipse (and the timeframe it is working through) can target/make you aware of the blocks, knots, or hurdles that still need to be surpassed. This work in progress will be advanced in April by several transit triggers: Mercury retrograde (April 1 -25), the total solar eclipse on April 8, and the momentous Jupiter/Uranus alignment on April 20. Call it forth/confront it; crossroads and threshold crossings – the karmic dial-up continues through the fall eclipses (marking another major intersection to navigate) and through the end of the year. (Overall, we are at the start of a two-year cycle of concentrated development regarding relationships at all levels, with self to self/personal reinvention situated at the top of the to-do list.)

ARIES March 19/20 – April 19
Perhaps you have already started to change how you are showing up for yourself. Perhaps it is still in an incubation phase. Mars and Venus are at the start of a new two-year experiential cycle with extra kick-start. You’ll gain more traction soon enough.
The year ahead and the next several will take you through significant change regarding your social life, personal goals, and your day-to-day reality. You do not have to figure it out all at once. Simply stay open to exploring and allow for the unfolding of time to inform/to point the way. No matter what threshold you stand on, for opportunity to make its presence better known, it needs to start with a vision, a dream, a hope, and a believability factor. Now is the time to stay open to exploring beyond the usual.
March 3, 4, and 9 could light a fresh spark. March 8, an early end to the workweek would suit you just fine, thanks to Mercury/Neptune (conjunction). If you do have to stick it out, do not sweat what is not coming naturally. Keep plans or intentions loose. Choose creative or easy tasks over exacting work. The Pisces new moon on March 10 is preceded by Mars/Uranus (square) and the start of Mercury into Aries provides a boost to the action or impetus.
Venus tours Pisces from March 11 to April 4. Mars tours Pisces from March 22 to April 30. Both transits stir hidden potential. (Venus comes to a completion or realization as of March 21.) Due to next month’s retrograde cycle (April 1 to 25) Mercury will tour Aries from March 9 to May 15. All three will set karmic wheels in motion. Expect the next couple of months to be jettisoning, perhaps in an unexpected, cut to the chase, or fast-track way.
If you are born on or near the lunar eclipse in Libra of March 25, you could feel a sense of potential on brew, perhaps without anything real/tangible to pin it on. Directly or indirectly, someone of significance could set wheels in motion. As is typical of all eclipses, you can feel a sense of destiny or karmic potency in play. On another note, a relationship or lifestyle imbalance could gain more attention. You may feel you are not getting what you put into it, or that the promise is not proving itself. If the eclipse does not make a direct contact on your natal chart, it may just come and go like a typical full moon.
If the March eclipse passes you by without too much fan fare, stay alert for the next one! April 8 delivers a total solar eclipse conjunct Chiron in Aries. This eclipse can be catapulting or hard hitting. It will be especially so if your birthday happens on or near April 8. Watch March 18 to 21 and the lunar eclipse (active March 24 – 26) for a trigger or preview. April 8 to May 13 could be a full throttle time. (In fact, watch for the whole month of April to keep the action in high gear.)
TAURUS April 19 – May 20
Opening the month, Pluto, Venus, and Mars in Aquarius can keep you breaking new ground for yourself. Pisces influences (Sun, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury (to March 9), Venus (starting March 11), and Mars (starting March 22) aim to dissolve whatever resistance, barrier, or thought process has prevented you from tapping the wealth of potential that is always available. Of course, the potential may not be obvious to you until your soul deems that you are ready to take it on. This is the work of the Pisces transits that populate the month.
The first ten days or so of the month should keep the momentum going well. March 3 and 9 could spark something fresh or unexpected. March 8 to 19 sets a good backdrop for spring break, for easing your way along or for letting inspirations of the moment guide you. Throughout the month, potentials stay on brew. Mercury in Aries, starting March 9, should add good forward momentum, but if you do not see things pick up speed, you will not have to wait long. Look to the spring equinox (March 19) and end of the month to kick it into gear.
As of March 21, Venus/Saturn (conjunction) can bring you to a completion or conclusion. March 21 to April 30, Mars in Pisces stirs emotional undercurrents, and puts more on brew behind the scenes. Watch for the lunar eclipse in Libra on March 25, the total solar eclipse on April 8, and Mercury retrograde, April 1 to 25 to thrust whatever has escaped your awareness into full and center view. Mercury extends its tour of Aries from March 11 to May 15. The next two months can be a time to try again, to start over, and/or to take another shot at it. Jupiter/Uranus, a rare alignment that happens only once every thirteen years, can produce a twist of fate or exceptional opportunity. This will be especially so for you if you are born on or near April 20.
GEMINI May 20 – June 20
The past is on a wrap and a new reality is already underway. It is something you feel, know, have witnessed, or made happen. You are now poised at a threshold crossing that has been long in the works or long sought.
Overall, the first week or so of the month keeps the action of the day moving along. Time simply evaporates. March 3 and 9 are best used for letting the moment dictate the play. Both Venus (to March 11) and Mars (to March 22) can spark something fresh (a clever idea, a new prospect, something social, educational, or entertaining).
Mercury enters Aries on March 9. This transit can light a fire in you, or it can trigger a conflict. Despite the Pisces transits, Mercury in Aries finds you ready to tackle it head on, go your own way, forge ahead, or to dive full tilt to something new. Mercury will keep you or it fired up through mid May. This is due to the next retrograde cycle which happens from April 1 to 25. Know that once Mercury turns retrograde, you could change your mind, want to ditch plans, or you may have to start over from scratch. Watch March 11 to 19 for the start of something that can occupy you for the next couple of months. March, April, and (extending into) May set fated circumstances and karmic replay into high gear.
The spring equinox and the sun into Aries on March 19 can supply fresh incentive, but Venus in Pisces continuing to April 4 and Mars in Pisces, starting on March 22 (to April 30) continue to extend uncertainty or guesswork. Ease your way along rather than force what isn’t coming naturally. Take the pressure off yourself as best you can. Pisces stars also set a good backdrop for a vacation. Allow things to move along their natural course. Take more time to sort yourself out.
The lunar eclipse in Libra on March 25 puts the attention on creating a better balance for yourself. It could spark a social activity, or lucrative potential. You may see your way clearer on a relationship, an enmeshment issue, a legal matter, or a creative undertaking. The eclipse can put the spotlight on loving yourself or gifting yourself more. Spruce-ups of all kinds are favoured (social professional, personal.) The eclipse could set something into action now, soon (next couple of months), or into the fall (with the next set of eclipses). Of course, the eclipse will only hold potency if it makes a significant contact to your chart. Otherwise, it can come and go as a typical full moon experience.
April is a stand-out month, hosting Mercury retrograde in Aries, a total solar eclipse in Aries conjunct Chiron (destiny producing!), and the momentous Jupiter/Uranus conjunction on April 20. Stay tuned!
CANCER June 20 – July 22
A triple conjunction of Mercury, Saturn, and the sun in Pisces coincided with the end of February. This “in the works” transit will remove a barrier or clear away that which has prevented you from moving on or beyond (an invisible ceiling perhaps)?
Now or in due course, something will be revealed that you did not see or did not know previously. What comes into being may be that you may have sensed or felt, but without anything real or viable to pin it on. If you feel lost, are coming up with naught, or feel that a loss is too big to bounce back from, know this is not a time to lose faith! Pluto is just at the start of a 20-year cycle of opportunity in the making. What is swept out of the way now is simply setting the stage for the new and next, for something that is better aligned for tomorrow’s reality, one that holds an abundance of fresh potential.
Pisces month is a time to explore potentials and to allow yourself to dream it bigger. Venus enters Pisces on March 11 (to April 4). Mars transits Pisces from March 22 to April 30. Gift yourself with more time to tune in, to listen to the message of your intuition and your soul. Allow inspirations of the moment to inform you. A spiritual retreat, a vacation, a good movie, or good fiction works wonders for the soul too. March and April are pivotal months. On the roster: two eclipses (March 25 lunar eclipse, April 8 total solar eclipse), Mercury retrograde in Aries (April 1 to 25), and a rare Jupiter/Uranus conjunction (April 20). Expect to move through more than average in a short span of time!
Mercury enters Aries on March 9. On this same day, Mars/Uranus (square) can stimulate the unexpected. It could be an impulse, realization, or breakthrough. Try not to race too far ahead regarding expectations. From mid month forward, Mercury will be already setting up for next month’s retrograde cycle. March and (especially) April are peak months, ripe with heightened karmic implication/threshold crossings. What is meant to be will most definitely take the lead. If it does not hold its water/is not worthwhile enough to go the distance, it will falter, disintegrate, or recede from view.
March 25 the lunar eclipse in Libra could necessitate more yielding or cooperation from your end, even though you may feel you have done enough of it already. Striking a balance between give and take requires finesse. Be first, set a good lead, and watch for others to follow (despite their resistance or ego stance.) The eclipse can bring a relationship issue to a peak. You may decide to go your separate ways. Something new could be the start of something short- or long-term. If short-term, it will not take you long to figure it out (You can thank next month’s Mercury retrograde for that.) On other note, you may have an opportunity for a quick and lucrative turnaround. The total solar eclipse on April 8 can be significant for you if your birthday falls on or near July 10, 11. Along with Mercury retrograde (April 1 to 25), the next couple of months can see you start over (perhaps from scratch) or move you into a brand-new reality.
LEO July 22 – August 22
If you are born at the start of Leo (July 23 or nearby), you will feel the revolutionizing force of Pluto in Aquarius in a significant way now or soon. If you are born later in the sign, you will have more time before Pluto aims your way.
On the more immediate track, Venus and Mars are at the start of their two-year initiative to advance the creative process of relationship dynamics, starting with how you show up in your social dealings. As this transit hits the move-along, you will find the observer in you to be a quick study. Watch March 3 (Venus/Uranus) and March 9 (Mars/Uranus square) for fresh insight or a boost of energy.
Coinciding with spring break, March can be a good month to take time out, to get back in touch with yourself, to spend more quality time with loved ones, or to explore your options. Against the backdrop of Pisces transits, (Venus, March 11 to April 4; Mars, March 22 to April 30), the sun in Aries (starting on the spring equinox March 19) and Mercury in Aries (March 9 to May 15) keep stoking the fire. Mercury spends much longer than usual in Aries this time around. The reason is due to Mercury’s retrograde cycle that extends from April 1 to 25. Stay alert for what is on brew. While Venus and Mars in Pisces stir hidden potential, Mercury in Aries (and especially while touring retrograde) aims straight for that hidden target.
March 25, the lunar eclipse in Libra spotlights matters to do with partnerships, social activities or inroads, sharing, collaboration, peacemaking, and such. There may be someone or something new to explore or to include into your thinking or your life. How can you team up or accommodate others while keeping yourself intact? To meet in the middle, to create a better balance or the win/win can require testing/trying something new. The eclipse could also busy you with a contract or legal matter. You could act a sounding board for another. Do not hesitate to seek counselling, to get a second opinion, or to get a new agent or advisor should you feel an instinct to do so.
The lunar eclipse suggests a time to be accommodating, to be a good listener or to seek advice. It is also a good time to make an appearance, or to spruce things up, or to splurge a little. Know that the lunar eclipse could come and go like a typical full moon influence unless it picks up your chart in a dynamic way. Having said that, this eclipse could provide a preliminary trigger for the transits of April, namely Mercury retrograde, April 1 – 25, the total solar eclipse on April 8 (could pack a punch) and the rare Jupiter/Uranus conjunction on April 20! Stay tuned!
VIRGO August 22 – September 22
Did the end of February bring you to a finish line or goal post. With it comes a sense that you have made it over the hump. The sun (to March 19) and Mercury in Pisces (to March 9) can make for an easier/smoother go, but you still have plenty to tackle. Venus and Mars in Aquarius will continue to keep your mind and/or hands busy especially over this first week or so.
Mercury fires up in Aries from March 9 to May 15. Out of nothing comes something fresh, perhaps something hot. That could be inspiration, opportunity, conflict, or cause. While the Pisces backdrop keeps variables, considerations, or options floating around, Mercury in Aries sets its aim straight onto the target. Aries calls for courage, initiative, and maverick thinking. Something quick and short can be worth a try. Do not mess around with your health. If something is bothering you, get it checked out. Same goes for your car, your computer, or other essentials.
On another note, don’t race too far ahead or take a risk if you don’t already have the bird in hand. Mercury in Aries tours retrograde from April 1 to 25. Among the range of possibilities, Mercury retrograde could produce a sudden health flare up, an argument, or a clash with someone. You may have to exert more effort to keep your indignation, anger, or outrage in check. You could come under the line of fire/feel unfairly attacked. Items can break (spirit or hope can break too.) Do not provoke an angry stranger. Avoid volatile situations. On another note, something recently started can be short lived. If it is not doing you good/what you want, you will know it fast. A quick cut-off or clean severing of ties is best. If it was not meant to be, it will not survive the test of time. On the other hand, if it is worthwhile, it can hold more lucrative promise than was evident to begin with.
To the plus, Mercury retrograde could provide an opportunity for a fresh start. There is a potential to bring something back to life or to take another stab at something you gave up on. Going it alone can be another option worth considering.
Under the influence of two eclipses, the middle of March through the end of April can put karmic recall into play in a significant way. Stay alert for the budding or blossoming of potential. Whether in your life now, or whether it/they show up soon (spring through fall of this year perhaps), something or someone of significance can take your life in a brand-new direction. Stay tuned!
LIBRA September 22 - October 22
Last month, Venus and Mars launched a two-year exploratory initiative. Your own creative process is on that list. This two-year cycle will assist you to reinvent how you interface with the world around you, to be more expressive, to shine more, to share more of your unique gifts. It is one that can help you to break your own glass ceiling, this regarding your inner programming, regarding what you want and how you go seeking fulfillment.
Expect to be on an acceleration track over the next year or few regarding self discovery. Along with Pluto in Aquarius, this new Venus/Mars cycle revamps your personal magnetism in a subtle (and at times, not so subtle) way. Others will notice your new vibe. You may notice you are getting more attention while Venus (to March 11) and Mars (to March 22) tour Aquarius.
Mercury (to March 9) and the sun (to March 19) in Pisces keep you submerged in your daily activities in the first portion of the month. Venus (March 11 to April 4) and Mars (March 22 to April 30) in Pisces keep you submerged in the second half of the month. The Pisces backdrop can be good for taking a deep dive and/or going with the flow. Whether at work or on vacation, the best place to be is fully submerged right where you are. Noting so many planets on tour in Pisces, you could lose track of time – but time, or rather karmic destiny, will not lose track of you! March 25 delivers a lunar eclipse in Libra. You can feel the fullest effect of this eclipse if you are born on or near September 28, 29, or October 8,9. Do you feel on the short end of give and take? A relationship/enmeshment issue can come to a head. The intention for this Libra eclipse is to address the imbalance and/or to work your way back to a win/win (whether that is a matter of reconciling with self alone or reconciling with the circumstances of the moment.) A relationship conflict could require more testing of the waters, or a more definitive stance regarding your expectations and needs. It could also trigger a fresh perspective on how you see (or compete with) yourself. The eclipse could also ignite a fresh perspective on the options or investments that are now up for consideration. April delivers three major transits: Mercury retrograde in Aries (April 1 to 25), a total solar eclipse in Aries (April 8), and a rare Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus (April 20). Watch for accelerated action over the next two months.
SCORPIO October 22 - November 21
A triple conjunction of the sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Pisces has wrapped up February on a cementing, and completion note. A milestone or goalpost can be in the works. Additionally, Mars and Venus are at the start of a next two-year personal growth and reinvention cycle that will take you through a significant change regarding your social life, home-life, career and material ambitions. More test driving and risk taking is required. You won’t know how far you can get or where it can take you until you try it.
Whether you are feeling inspired and on creative track, on a spiritual quest, taking a vacation, or falling in love (perhaps with yourself all over again?) – Pisces month is a time to immerse yourself right where you are. A wealth of potential exists in every moment, it is for you to embark upon the discovery process and to trust that opportunity will find you at the right moment. Special attention can come your way, doors can open, especially regarding your career. Venus in Pisces (March 11 to April 4) increases your personal magnetism. Mars in Pisces (March 22 to April 30) can keep you creatively inspired. When operating at optimum, this Mars transit can be a good confidence booster. Both Venus and Mars are also good for romance or for spiritual pursuits.
While all that Pisces energy is well used to surrender, allow, and go with the flow, Mercury sparks a fire. Mercury enters Aries on March 9 for a two month stay. The lengthy tour is due to next month’s retrograde cycle, (April 1 to 25). This Mercury in Aries gives you a window for a short project, job, class, or training program. It is also time to test-drive a new initiative, involvement, or an updated version of yourself. Mercury retrograde will take you through a stripping away process. It will show you what is not working, what does not hold water, what needs to be discarded. As is typical of any retrograde cycle, it is a time to revisit, revise, rework. The stripping away process can set you up to clear the slate and to start over from scratch. (A freeing influence, it sets up the potential to do it better next time.)
This month and next set up a two-month window of karmic potency. The lunar eclipse in Libra on March 25 could come and go with little notice unless it is making a significant contact to your natal chart. On a subtle level, it acts as a tuning fork for listening to the soundtrack of your body or your soul, also for reading the subtle signals from others. Do not discount your intuition, your first impressions, or your health. The eclipse can put something on brew that will make its presence known over the next month or so, or in the fall. April 8 delivers a total solar eclipse in Aries conjunct Chiron. Stay alert, stay tuned.
SAGITTARIUS November 21 – December 21
You could have a change of mind or perspective over this first week or so. A change to your routine or the pace of your day can be in the works too. To the plus, you could make progress with a health issue, with problem solving, or with something that has been nagging at you for awhile.
Venus tours Pisces from March 11 to April 4. Mars tours Pisces from March 22 to April 30. Both transits keep you deeply submerged inside yourself. You may want to (or feel the need to) withdraw, to hide out for awhile. A vacation can be well timed. On the other hand, while you (or they) may slip out of sight, you (or they) will not be idle. Mercury in Aries (March 11 to May 15) and the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8 can keep you busy with a personal priority.
If you are getting the sense that there is something more on brew than average, you are correct. The next two months can see you hit a fast forward in an unexpected and threshold crossing way, this despite the Mercury retrograde tour which extends from April 1 to 25. Look to Mercury retrograde in Aries (April 1 – 25) to strip away whatever is standing in the way of setting your aim straight onto the target. As is typical of the retrograde, you can revisit something that is essential to review and revise before moving to the next phase or chapter. Mercury retrograde in Aries can provide a good opportunity to set the record straight, to start over or start fresh with less encumbrance and more dynamic fuel (be that passion, desire, and inspiration, or fighting spirit and just cause). Look to both eclipses (the full moon in Libra on March 25, and the dynamic total solar eclipse in Aries on April 8) to also set destiny in motion, to trigger déjà vu or a sense of karmic recall and/or fruition. Stay alert for signals and clues over the next couple of weeks. What launches this month will claim front and center profile for the next several months.
CAPRICORN December 21 - January 20
Venus and Mars in Aquarius have recently started a two-year observation and self discovery process that will put you back in touch with capacities and talents that have been under-utilized to date. Consider it a software upgrade on your relationship to yourself. You can find yourself more open and willing to explore fresh options, more so than is typical of you. The first week of March (March 3, 9) could bring a flash of insight or inspiration, rekindle interest, boost your energy, social activity, or the emotional quotient.
The month ahead can be mostly smooth running. This is thanks to a concentration of Pisces transits (sun, Saturn, and Mercury in Pisces in the first half; Venus and Mars in Pisces in the second half). Time can simply evaporate. Spring break month is well set for a vacation or for a pull-back from time-wasters. Replenish yourself with quality time to rest, relax and to indulge on the things/the pleasure pursuits that make life more worthwhile. Do not fall asleep at the wheel though. There is more on brew than may be obvious.
If you cannot figure it out, do not push what is not coming naturally. Trust that things will unfold. They will become clearer in time. Mercury enters Aries on March 9, and the sun enters Aries on the spring equinox March 19. Both will set wheels in motion, especially through the month of April. Mercury, on a retrograde tour from April 1 to 25, can see you revisit, revise or refresh. Too, you could start over, perhaps all the way back to square one. Whether short- or long-range, a second try or fresh start can lead to greater success or reward. The total solar eclipse in Aries of April 8 also revs up the destiny in the making/karmic potency of this threshold crossing time. It can function as a dynamic springboard for you if you are born on or near January 10. As is typical of eclipses they can trigger before or after their actual event date. March is under the energy of both this eclipse and the lunar eclipse in Libra of March 25.
You can feel the strongest effect of the lunar eclipse on March 25 if your birthday falls on or near December 28, or January 6, 7. There could be a milestone or anniversary to mark, or a special event to attend. In Libra, the eclipse puts the focus on the imbalances or extremes, on relationship interactions. The lunar eclipse can see you weighing a decision or investment (time, money, or heart). It can be time to renew a contract or commitment, or to break it. You may be challenged to make new inroads, to deal with a new boss or decision maker, or to negotiate a change to policy, format, or schedule. Too, there may be something important to repeat, revisit, or rebuild. If the eclipse does not make a direct contact of significance to your natal chart, you may simply witness it as another typical full moon.
AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18/19
A next chapter is in the works. Perhaps you know it, perhaps you have a sense of it. Venus and Mars have recently begun a new two-year experiential track that will introduce you to plenty, including a new side of yourself, (it may be one that has been clamouring for more attention as of late). This is no ordinary moment along the collective timeline. No doubt, you feel it is no ordinary moment regarding your personal life journey too. Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Pisces have recently teamed up to solidifying this threshold crossing. It is an ongoing process that will uncover more of your potential and your destiny.
Venus in Aquarius continues to March 10. Mars in Aquarius continues to March 22. Both transits are energizing and stimulating (especially March 3 and 9). Expect to remain on the go with ideas, activities, and conversations. The first, the mid, or the later portion of the month can stir up something fresh or unexpected.
In general, both Venus (March 11 to April 4) and Mars (March 22 to April 30) in Pisces set a backdrop to go with the flow and ease your way along. You can find yourself completely submerged in your day to day, in the task at hand. On the other hand, both transits also set a good backdrop for spring break, a vacation, and/or taking time out to replenish. The spiritual quest, your meditation practice, and creative projects can claim you too. On a subtle (or not so subtle) level, both transits can keep you searching, even if you are not clear about what you are looking for or why you feel what you feel. While Venus and Mars in Pisces stimulate what is on brew yet hidden, Mercury in Aries, starting March 9, is an instigating and energizing influence. Consider it like a shot of caffeine to wake up/kick-start the action. On another note, Venus and Mars in Pisces can make you especially sensitive to surroundings and to others. Protect your health. Your immune system can be more vulnerable than at other times.
Mercury in Aries continues to May 15. The longer than average stay is due to the next retrograde cycle, which happens from April 1 to 25. Stay alert. The month ahead can give you a preview of what Mercury retrograde/April has in store. As is typical for the retrograde cycle, expect to revisit, revise, or refresh. You may need to relaunch or start from scratch. There is an opportunity to repeat and to gain better traction, satisfaction, or results.
March 25 delivers a partial lunar eclipse in Libra. The eclipse can set an opportunity backdrop for your sign that extends for this month and next. It can also hold potency that can extend to or bear fruit in the fall. Having said that, this eclipse could come and go as any other full moon does, unless it makes a significant contact to your natal chart. In general, the lunar eclipse in Libra puts an added spotlight on he future and new adventures. The list includes travel, public speaking, performing, exhibiting, publishing, legal matters, or contracts (actual and/or karmic). Most importantly, the eclipse puts added attention on relationships, partnerships, social matters, collaboration projects, and financial prospects. A key someone may soon enter or exit your life. Triggered by either this eclipse or April’s dynamic line-up (the total solar eclipse in Aries on April 8, Mercury in action, or the rare and momentous Jupiter/Uranus alignment on April 20), a key event could launch your life into a next chapter.
PISCES February 18/19 to March 19/20
Did the end of February, put the writing on the wall and/or cement your thinking or plans? The triple conjunction of Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Pisces may have taken some of the guesswork out of it. You may feel that it is the right time to let go and move on. Venus and Mars place you at the starting gate of a next chapter of your life. Much is in the incubation phase right now and soon to surface. More will continue to germinate behind the scenes but will stay hidden from full view until the start of next year and beyond.
Venus in Aquarius continues to March 11. Mars in Aquarius continues to March 22. Both transits (and the sun in Pisces) are good for trying the new on for size. March 3 and 9 could stimulate something fresh or spontaneous. Go with it. March 8, 10, and 17, allow inspirations of the moment to sweep you away, but do not guess or tackle anything that requires attention to detail, precision, or hard work. Over the month ahead, if you feel turned on in one minute and not the next, that’s okay. Allow those thoughts and impulses to come and go. If it does not hold good prospect, your intuition will be quick to discard it, or it simply will not gain any traction.
On the heels of a new moon in your sign (March 10), Venus in Pisces, March 11 to April 4 increases your magnetic attraction. You can find you get more notice, or that more people reach out to you. March 22 to April 30, Mars in Pisces keeps you on a steady supply of fresh fuel and incentive. Mercury in Aries also keeps the action going strong.
Mercury transits Aries from March 9 to May 15. The extra long tour is due to Mercury’s upcoming retrograde cycle, April 1 – 25. Mercury can trigger something fresh (an idea, impulse, plan, connection, conversation, investment, or opportunity). You can find yourself more physically active. It is a time to put courage and initiative into action, and for independence bids. This month and next could speed up the action. Mercury retrograde could push you to take a stand, to fight for justice/your rights, to go your separate ways. Also, Mercury retrograde could spark a health flare-up, a conflict with another, or see you do battle with yourself. March 12, 13, 18, 19, and 25 – 29 can trigger insights or circumstances. An argument or challenge is best viewed as an opportunity in disguise. Mercury retrograde and the total solar eclipse of April 8 help you to strip it right down to brass tacks, to call a spade a spade, or to cut to the chase with little wastage. There can be an opportunity to revisit and revise. Don’t hesitate to go back to the starting line and to start over fresh, or to make a clean cut and to move on.
You could feel the effect (karmic and/or actual) of the March 25 lunar eclipse in Libra in a direct way, or indirectly through others. There could be a special event to attend or to plan for, or a milestone to mark. The eclipse can put added attention on partnerships, social matters, shared resources, marketing, and spruce-up projects. An enmeshment or co-dependency issue can weigh on your mind, heart, or wallet. There may be something financial to address (an expense or shared expense, a renegotiation, or renewal). The eclipse can be of impact if it makes a direct contact to your natal chart, otherwise it may simply come and go as a typical full moon. Having said that, April is a significant month, one that will launch the action, both actual and karmic.
