The Parade of Stars line-up of June 3 is likely to capture the attention of mainstream news outlets. From our earth viewpoint, six planets will appear to align in a straight line in the evening sky: Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Mars, Neptune, and Saturn. (The next alignments happen on Aug 28, 2024, and January 18, 2025.) For those in the northern hemisphere, the best visibility in the eastern sky will be about a half hour or so before sunrise. Mars and Saturn will be easiest to see. You will need binoculars or a telescope to see Neptune and Uranus. Mercury will quickly move on. June 4, the moon joins the group. All planets are travelling on the same side of the sun and are currently travelling in direct motion. Saturn turns retrograde on June 29.
Looking from the astrology rather than astronomy lens, June 2 to 5 hosts a notable run of mobilizing and trend setting stars. Watch for an uptake of significance. Where there is a little, there is a lot more to come. It won’t take much to get something off the ground and into the air. What sets into motion holds more than average potential and shelf life.
Here is the line-up of astrological aspects:
June 2: Pluto/Jupiter trine
June 3: Mercury enters Gemini; Pluto/Mercury trine
June 4: Jupiter/Mercury conjunction; Sun/Venus superior conjunction (Venus star point)
Of special note, the June 4 sun/Venus superior conjunction (far side of the sun) marks the midpoint of an 18-month manifesting cycle. What has been seeding over the past nine months (since August of last year) will be harvested over the next nine months. Destiny is in play in some potent way. You can see this reflected through personal circumstances, your significant relationships, and through your inner messages. The karmic potency is also in ready evidence regarding the action of the world at large. Jupiter and Mercury in Gemini and the rest of the June 2 to 5 transits put people on the move. They also rev up money markets, trade and commerce, social and political trends (students protests included).
Jupiter has recently begun its one-year tour of Gemini. Every 12 years, Jupiter will transit the same area of your chart. As it does, it brings increase and growth to a particular area of your life. Think back. Can you see a correlation between then and now? Jupiter can get the ball rolling through inner restlessness, through intuition, inklings, or premonitions, through messages and messengers, or through opportunity and the gifts of life. Jupiter’s growth curve is an experiential process that has twists and turns along the way. It will set up a number of checkpoints and challenges to sort through before you/we get clear on the best avenue forward. See now through next spring as a work in progress. Do today to the best of your ability and stay flexible, open, and ready to cross the next bridge when you meet up with it (and not before). A lot can change between now and then. Lastly, when faced with a dilemma or six of one, half dozen of the other choice, keep both options going and let the unfolding of time reveal your best play.
Make full use of this first week of June while opportunity stars are so nicely energized. June 8 can produce a noticeable momentum shift as Mars exits fast-track Aries to begin a six-week tour of Taurus. June 8 to 14 (Saturn in action) can be constructive, but they require more effort and perseverance. You can feel under pressure or feel the need to push harder. (Likely we will see this play out regarding the political fronts/conflicts too.) Do the work, get the result. Hopefully, it is the recipe that delivers. June 14, Mercury/sun form a superior conjunction. It is an illuminating transit. Head and heart are on the same page. This transit could bring news, a revelation, or prompt a decision or an important conversation. This superior conjunction marks the midpoint between the last Mercury retrograde and the next (in August). It is an optimizing transit for moving onto a next page. June 16 to 20 (Neptune in action) are best used to ease up and go with the flow (or let it go and move on). These dates are good for a vacation, or for allowing inspirations of the moment to sweep you away. Having said that, please keep health and safety in mind. With Neptune so active, it is easy to lose track or to be more susceptible (regarding health, false advertising, or the sales pitch).
June 17, both Mercury and Venus enter Cancer. On June 20 (the solstice), the sun enters Cancer. All three can shift the spotlight attention onto home, family, and better-quality self care. June 21, the full moon in Capricorn brings the week to a well-timed finish line. The full moon is good for re-establishing boundaries, control or getting better organized. If time or resources are short, remember that quality over quantity is where it is at. The last week of the month should prove to be a smooth go. Saturn begins its yearly 4-month retrograde cycle on June 29.

This full moon is also timely for the end of the week wrap up.
CANCER June 20 – July 22
Jupiter’s one year tour through Gemini (recently begun) can be of influence in a less obvious way for you than for other signs. The transit can put more than average on brew, but you may not clue in fully until Jupiter treks into Cancer in 2025 (starts mid June). Next year will be a kick-start year (from spring, forward). This is a year to explore and groom potentials, to feel your way along. Alternate options and routes are worth a look/see. Some of what you meet with can be prove to be a sidetrack or distraction, but everything serves the larger process of getting to where you need to/want to go. You can easily convince, enlist, or sell. These dates are great for talks, negotiations, presentations, studies, or writing projects. The parade of stars (alignment of six planets in the night sky) happens on June 3, the day before the Venus/sun superior conjunction. (A superior conjunction happens when Venus is on the other side of the sun, at the furthest distance away from earth.) This Venus/sun alignment (June 4) marks the midpoint of an 18-month manifesting cycle that began last August and that will continue to the end of March of 2025. The next nine months will be the harvesting and integrating portion of what was seeded over the last 9 months. There are plenty of pages to turn between now and then. One thing leads to another. Between now and then there is plenty to meet up with, to move through, and to clear out of the way before you reach the straight path forward.
