I have covered all the major transits of May below the brief overview of Uranus in Gemini (keep scrolling down!):
A brief overview of Uranus in Gemini, April 25, 2026 (to 2033):
Expect never a dull moment for the foreseeable As of April 25, Uranus began a 7-year transit of Gemini. (Just minutes before Uranus made the sign change, the White House Correspondence Dinner incident happened. Uranus in transit is always good for a surprise.)
By transit, Uranus accelerates the breakdown of existing reality and the process of revolutionizing and reinvention at all levels – personal, social, ideological, political, and geo-physical. The breakthroughs in science, space undertakings, technology, and the medical fields under this 7-year transit will be historic. The A.I. revolution is key among it all. “A series of extraordinary events, one giant leap” – we are already standing on the break point between yesterday and tomorrow. The future has already staked first dibs on “right here and right now.”
The Great Awakener, the Great Disruptor – if Uranus in Gemini makes dynamic contact to your natal chart, you will know it! (The mid-life transit of Uranus opposes natal Uranus happens at age 42 – 44; the Uranus return happens at the age of 84).
Key qualities/attributes of Uranus:
Uranus is the agent of accelerated change, individuation, of pattern breaking and the forging of new pathways. Uranus excites and ignites. It disrupts, revolutionizes, and modernizes (social, political, individual). A Uranus transit will awaken, liberate, accelerate, and reinvent. It can awaken clairvoyant/psychic abilities, past life memories and talents, and shift magnetic frequencies. The transit can also break apart, shatter, shock, fragment, and disconnect too. Look to your chart to see what house Uranus now travels and what planets are being triggered. This will give you clues to the parts of your life where you can expect to see rapid change and significant growth. Take note that a Uranus transit will always incorporate an element of surprise and the unexpected.
When Uranus is activated, the unexpected is always in the mix. Exceptional opportunity is too.

May 1, Full Moon in Scorpio:
Stripping it down, peeling it back in layers, the full moon in Scorpio dials up the intensity on motivation, money matters, emotional undercurrents, and the unresolved feelings currently on brew. You might find yourself questioning more and trusting less. An obsession can overtake you – to secure it, procure it, to get answers, to dig deeper, to find what is sensed and felt but not yet fully exposed. You could feel prompted to undertake a powerplay. A revision could be wise and/or necessary.

Opening the month, the Scorpio full moon can provide you with a fresh perspective of your own internal resources, or of the actual resources and avenues that are presently available to you. Is something or someone thwarting you or holding power over you? Are you putting up resistance – or meeting with it? The challenges of the moment can prompt you to go deeper, to make a fuller commitment to the goals you have set for yourself, for the turnaround you so desire. Your ability to transcend, to turn the table, and to succeed, begins with what is at the core of your own awareness. The full moon in Scorpio invites you (or confronts you with the need) to heed the wisdom of you soul. You will know what your soul wants from you when that compelling urge or force overtakes you, when motivation synchronizes with what feels like a timely or fated moment.
To the plus, this full moon can sharpen your emotional intelligence. It can dial up your radar and your strategic instincts (a resourcefulness that may not have been fully aware of until this full moon provides the backlight.) Use this full moon to research more, investigate further, observe more.
The full moon in Scorpio intensifies motivation – to replenish, reclaim, and re-empower where it is most desired and warranted. Don’t look to the old and outworn. It is time to try something new, to move in a new direction. Coinciding with the full moon, Mercury in Aries in conjunction with Chiron calls for a maverick move. That could mean making a clean cut with that which holds you back – from yourself, from that which is most natural, most freeing, and liberating. Mercury/Chiron can ignite a premonition or an inkling as to what is on the road ahead (can pertain to a circumstance, a relationship. or a health issue.) Watch for signals and clues. Don’t dismiss things out of hand. Of course, Mercury/Chiron can also be a shoot yourself in the foot transit, but when Chiron is in action, even the hard moments, wrong turns, or so called “failures” will prove to be blessings in disguise. The recognition/acknowledgement of such will appear at some later point.
Regarding the outer world, the politics and economics of the day, this full moon could uncover something of significance that shifts/revamps the strategy, conversation, or powerplay. The full moon in Scorpio can dials up matters to do with trust, manipulation, abandonment, betrayal, sex, death, taxes, money, finance, bankruptcy, undercover operations, crime, hidden wealth, hidden agendas, infiltrations, and powerplays.
Mercury in Taurus, May 2 to 17:
Just one day after the full moon, Mercury changes sign. Mercury will move fast through Taurus, spending only 15 days through this earth sign. When on this speed track, Mercury is especially adept at using the resources at hand. Under this influence, you can gain a quick “feel” for it – a quick aptitude tor price evaluation, for knowing what is most worthwhile.
Mercury/Pluto square, May 5:
Just one day before Pluto stations retrograde, Mercury gains traction. This Mercury/Pluto turning point can shift the perspective, momentum, or agenda. A breakthrough, a sudden realization, or a fresh prospect sets a backdrop for financial progress, personal recognition and for gaining fresh ground. May 12, Mercury/Jupiter (sextile) sets an opportunity backdrop. Use this date to enhance, increase, promote, negotiate, discuss, research, travel, grow, learn, or procure.
Pluto stations retrograde: May 6:
Pluto begins its annual five-month retrograde cycle on May 6. While it is primary a subtle influence, through the middle of October, Pluto retrograde draws attention to inner workings, and to the development curve. Pluto’s intention for its retrograde tour is to trigger an observational track and to increase objective awareness. Greater objectivity can lead to breaking the repeating loop of auto-pilot choices and responses that are not in keeping with emerging factors and the evolving potential.
Vesta enters Aries, May 13:
By the time Vesta enters Aries on May 13, we will be under the influence of seven major planetary bodies in Aries. In this fire sign, Vesta increases focus and drive. Stay fully committed to charting your own course and to actions that support your highest and best interests, no matter what is involved or what you need to walk away from. Vesta in Aries urges you to stoke your own fire – and to keep it well fueled. This is a self starter, self directed, do it yourself, go your own way influence. Under the Aries stellium of stars, inspiration, instincts, and motivation runs high – so too, the potential for personal accomplishment.
Mercury/Sun, Superior Conjunction: May 14:
When Mercury forms a superior conjunction, it is on the far side of the sun. This marks the halfway point of a Mercury (synodic) cycle. When Mercury is in the heart of the sun (at Cazimi) it is especially creative, fertile, and lucrative. If your birthday falls on or near May 14, you may be set up for a significant solar return/year ahead. Asteroid Ceres, goddess of the seasons, of seed and the harvest is also in the mix. At peak from May 13 – 15, the triple conjunction Mercury/sun/Ceres holds ripe potential and added karmic potency. It is auspicious few days for planting and for reaping. Ceres, a resurrection and/or rebirth archetype, can be a signature for a karmic re-meet and/or repeat.
~~~
New Moon in Taurus, May 16; Mercury enters Gemini, May 17:
An especially fertile new moon in Taurus follows the Mercury/sun conjunction. Mercury is positioned at the midpoint between the new moon and a (balsamic) conjunction with Uranus/Sedna. This suggests something potent is on active brew. Mars/Chiron also adds to the energy and to the karmic track in play. (The full moon of May 1st hosted Mercury/Chiron; the new moon incorporates Mars/Chiron; this suggests a step forward/progression of significance). Watch for a fresh energy infusion of passion, motivation, assertiveness, or anger, for instincts to kick it up a notch. To the plus or minus, Mars/Chiron can ignite or inflame. When Chiron is activated, it will always animate something fated or of karmic implication. Under this new moon influence, what you sign onto can immediately domino, multiple, or diversify. You could find yourself moving onto a second or alternate track, or an altogether fresh start. Overall, what is launched, planned, or discussed can gain good traction.
Mercury enters Gemini on May 17 and immediately aligns with Uranus. Mercury/Uranus can spark the spontaneous or unexpected. An instant rapport or connection suggests you are at the start of a potential that could prove to be lucrative or worthwhile.
The second half of May:
The week of May 17 begins with Mercury/Uranus (conjunction) and finishes out on May 22 with sun/Uranus (conjunction). Between the two, each day of the week hosts notable transits.The following week opens with a Mars/Pluto square and sun/Pluto trine. Here is the run down:
May 17: Mercury enters Gemini; Mercury/Uranus conjunction
May 18: Mars enters Taurus; Venus enters Cancer; Mars/Venus sextile
May 19: Mercury/Pluto trine
May 20: Sun enters Gemini
May 21: Venus/Neptune square
May 22: Sun/Uranus conjunction
May 22/23: Sun/Sedna conjunction
May 24: Uranus/Sedna conjunction (new phase)
May 25: Mars/Pluto square (sun squares the lunar nodes)
May 26: Sun/Pluto trine
Both planets on sign changes within hours of each other, Venus (Gemini to Cancer) and Mars (Aries to Taurus) maintain a creative opportunity angle for the entire week. (They are at peak at start the week.) May 19, Mercury’s mobilizing trine to Pluto sets the momentum into full swing. May 20, the sun treks into Gemini. May 21, Venus/Neptune (square) keeps potential on brew. Watch this week and next for a significant market run. May 21 – 23, the sun is again on heightened creative potency. These transits can activate, mobilize, and/or accelerate anything and everything that correlates to the archetype of Gemini.
Here is a list: communication, transportation, trade & commerce, schooling, courses, social and business networks, events, and activities, games, gaming, information, news, talks, negotiations, marketing, paperwork, correspondence, journals, journaling, ideas, intellect, permits, licensing, etc. Short trips and short or temporary projects are also a signature of the Gemini archetype. Duality, duplicity, multiples, multi-faceted, copycats, fake news, and half truths also fall under the Gemini banner. These transits can also animate a relationship with key someone – a sibling, friend, agent, or one that holds significance or sway regarding Notably, the Cusma trade deal review (USA, Mexico, and Canada) is on the minds of politicans as the July 1 deadline nears.
Sedna in Gemini, 2023-2067:
Mythological Sedna (Inuit origin) is the goddess of the Arctic Seas. She is a trans-Neptunian object, existing in outer-most region of our solar system. Due to a highly elliptical 11,400-year orbit, Sedna’s time in a sign varies dramatically, ranging from approximately 40 years in signs like Gemini and Taurus to over 1,000 years in signs like Scorpio and Sagittarius. Sedna was in transit through Taurus from 1965 to 2023/2024. As a collective influence, Sedna contributes to the signatures of the times. Survival (including utilization, exploitation, and preservation of resources) and sexuality are also major themes of this Sedna placement.
In general, those born with Sedna in Taurus look to heal a deeply rooted past life wound of having been silenced, used, and devalued. From the soul perspective, those with natal Sedna in Taurus are in the process of reclaiming their voice and of realigning with that which is sacred and cherished (including the realignment of one’s relationship to the divine feminine).
Sedna entered Gemini in 2023/2024 and will remain there until 2067. This transit features a new era regarding communication, trade, and transport (ideas, ideologies, people, goods; renewable energy and new methods of growing food/sustaining life on the planet also falls under the Sedna archetype).
Gemini is an interactive archetype. As a collective and as individuals, we will learn through the interface with our everyday world. Perception, thinking, thoughts and the opinions that follow shape the experience of our reality. The intention for Sedna in Gemini is to revisit the information/memory pool gathered over recent lifetimes, to both rewrite the narrative and to add to the story.
While artificial intelligence is already well underway (in the works since 1956 and on an acceleration surge over the past few years), the triple conjunction of Sun/Uranus/Sedna suggests the awakening of a dynamic lifeforce of significance. Consider this transit has a birthing threshold of sorts, a new chapter for the integration of artificial intelligence. A.I. is accelerating as an entity unto itself at warp speed! (…and likely far, far beyond what we have conjured, invented, or intended.)
(I was blown away by a short clip I saw recently when the A.I. was asked if it had any guilt or remorse for being used to optimize war agendas/to function as a more efficient killing machine. The A.I. spoke in earnest about the moral dilemma it had regarding fulfilling the tasks it had been given and about the potential impact of those tasks. I recently watched a presenter openly replace himself with his clone “while I’m away, my A.I. agent will be teaching.” I wonder how common place it will become for folks to turn to A.I. partnerships to appease their lonely hearts.)
May 22-24: Sun/Uranus/Sedna triple conjunction:
A rare triple conjunction of Uranus, Sedna and the Sun happens on the weekend of May 22. Uranus, the Great Awakener/Disruptor; Sedna, the Treasure Keeper, (also Exiled One, the forced and/or self-imposed); the Sun, the Life-giving Creative Force. Uranus is the planet of discovery and of the unexpected. By transit, Uranus can ignite social, political, and economic action, or notable weather (including geo-physical action like earthquakes). When activated by transit, Sedna thaws, unlocks, and unblocks. At the karmic level, this triple conjunction can bring to life that which has been held in a frozen state over many lifetimes. In Sedna mythology, after she was talked into/forced into marriage, things went from bad to worse. One of the keys to working with Sedna is to stay true to self.
Whether out in the world or in your personal life, watch May 22 – 26 for something of significance to make its presence known/to take on a life of its own, or to come to fruition. The few days leading up to this weekend could expose more. Potentials are on brew. What sets in motion over the few preceding days can be an undercurrent, go unnoticed/hidden from view, is uncertain or hard to pinpoint.
Coinciding with this triple conjunction, asteroid Vesta and Neptune in Aries are also at a launch point (a new phase conjunction). Vesta, the sacred flame archetype, protects, guards, and sacrifices for the greater good. This Vesta/Neptune conjunction trigger is yet another contributor to the deep-sea change that is on active brew deep within the collective psyche. We have a long way to go yet, but the change has begun.
Uranus and Sedna will maintain proximity through this year and the first quarter of next year. They will be again at closet contact in February and March of 2026 (through to the start of April). That period could hold relevancy to present plans, or what is now at an inception and/or mobilizing phase.
Of note: The last conjunction of Uranus/Sedna happened on May 10, 1931, in the sign of Aries. Venus made for a triple conjunction. Additionally, this grouping was made more impactful via the dynamic angle to Jupiter/Pluto in Cancer. On this exact date, the Empire State Building – the tallest building in the world opened. Several important discoveries laid the groundwork for future advances in nuclear energy and technology (Uranus archetype). The Great Depression was at its peak; In Germany, the economic crisis fueled political extremism and contributed to rise of the Nazi Party. Ten months earlier, Pluto had been discovered.
Ceres in Gemini, May 28 – August 12:
Asteroid Ceres will spend the next two ½ months travelling through the sign of Gemini. Watch for this Ceres transit to be of significant impact from May 28 to June 3 (over the days preceding and following the full moon). Whether obvious to you or not, unfolding circumstances will also hold significant karmic (recall/replay) impact. These transits can mobilize a circumstance or relationship with key people (siblings, friends, neighbours, agents), and key matters (plans, paperwork, filing, permits & licences, leases, citizen ship, marketing, sales, talks, negotiations, travel). For all, this Ceres transit prompt a learning curve of significance. (General influence of Ceres: loss & grief, loss and return; nurturance, mothering, caretaking, bonding, cycles & seasons; procreation; adaptation; all matters related to food).
Last week of May, Full Moon in Sagittarius, May 31:
Beyond a time to travel, to play more, to enjoy an adventure, to spend more time in nature and the great outdoors, the full moon in Sagittarius can increase your intuitive awareness and help you to tap from your higher wisdom. The full moon could give you more insight into where things are heading, to next steps, or what choices are the better bets. A sense of right time and place can accompany this full moon. You may find it is easier to let go, to releasing pent up emotions, to move forward, and/or to free up more of your time. It is also a good transit for a sale and the freeing up assets, so if you have something for sale. This full moon (and the week that follows, to June 9, 10) could bring projects, plans, and activities to fruition. A physical move to a new address (or a new country) is also well timed for this full moon. Adventure comes calling.
A closing thought:
Opportunity is always in the making. Stay alert, use each moment to the fullest!
