September Forecast Overview:

As September begins, we are well in the thick of yet another Mercury retrograde cycle. Occurring in Virgo this time (Aug 20 – Sept 12), the cycle can be unraveling. Problems can manifest in the following areas: health (includes pets), weather, employment, services, hired help, equipment, communications, and vehicle breakdowns. (Did I leave anything out???) Sept 3 is the midpoint apex of Mercury’s cycle, watch for an occurrence or revelation to sharpen your viewfinder. Sept 2/3 could produce a clue, tool, an important dialogue, or piece of news. You should start to feel a shift in the days leading up to the super new moon in Virgo on Sept. 8. A super new moon is an astrological high-tide, so know that the life-force of this necessary clean-up and corrections cycle is infused with more than the usual potency. Note both Venus (entering Scorpio) and Jupiter (revisiting Pisces) make significant changes on this new moon. When it is meant to be, it will animate readily. Otherwise, you will be forced to surrender the illusion.

Now to Oct 3 (and Oct 3 through the beginning of Dec), Venus and Mars advance a specific relationship chapter. Your/our relationship to money (in other words, the economy) is also a key feature of this particular cycle. A sense of destiny – and in some cases, a karmic backlash – is sure to be evident. This present Venus/Mars cycle also turns the destiny corner re economics (yours; ours) and social politics. Oct 3 through the beginning of December establishes phase two (or rather phase “next”) re all the above.

Jupiter and Uranus have been traveling in tandem since May. After a brief summer stint in Aries, both will finish out the year in Pisces. Their second peak (conjunction) will occur Sept 18 in Pisces. (Bookmarking the duration of their combined influence, the first conjunction occurred in June in the mobilizing sign of Aries, the last conjunction occurs in Pisces, on Jan 4, 2011). This planetary pairing accelerates the enlightenment of mass consciousness. As we have witnessed since the start of the year, more often than not this is occurring through the experience of large scale loss and tragedy. The positive side of this dynamic transit? Opportunity exceeding expectation, in other words, a completely reinvented life. If you will rise up to the undiluted truth of the here and now, applied knowledge is the lightening rod of liberation. Note also, that the Jupiter/Uranus peak of Sept 18 is particularly notable as it references our final eclipse of the year, that of the lunar eclipse of Dec 21.

The sun’s consciousness-raising transit will re-light Jupiter/Uranus on Sept 21, striking the cardinal (astrologer’s term) flint for the Autumn Equinox (Sept 22) and harvest full moon in Aries (Sept 23.) These are very potent stars (Sept 21 through 23) as they reactivate the cardinal climax configuration discussed by so many astrologers. Make no mistake about it – we are now buckled in to our seats for the journey of a lifetime – that of the shift to a new world order, to 2012 and beyond. Suffice to say September stars are particularly staging re both our private lives and the outer world/collective journey too. Nothing is small or insignificant. All is exceedingly relevant, all is of urgent priority.

The full moon in Aries Sept 23 can come “at you” fast and furious. Know that the adrenaline rush may be short lived, but the consequences can be lasting. Saturn and the sun conjoined at month’s end suggest you can conquer it, accomplish it, or end it. Saturn and the sun bring each of us to a significant fruition or culminating point, a karmic threshold, a deadline, or end of the road.

ARIES (March 21- April 19)

Mercury’s retrograde cycle offers the right time to get back at it. Clear it, clean it, revisit, rework it. When uncertain, opt for temporary solutions or fixes to bridge you until something more lucrative or suitable comes along. Some trial and error can be necessary first before you discover what (or who) works and what/who doesn’t. By the same token, when you see it breakdown or unravel beyond repair – your resolution/answer has made itself known. Don’t waste/spend the little you have remaining on lost litres.

Jupiter retrograde leaves Aries for Pisces on Sept 8. This full of potential planetary influence suggests something of great future significance is in a budding stage. A reinvented life is waiting in the wings. Consider now through late Jan, 2011 as a gestational or research period. The super new moon Sept 8 ushers in a productive new chapter, especially re work and health mandates. The stars are highly activated Sept 21 through the harvest moon full moon, Sept 23, and continuing through the first week of October. Re the personal, professional or political journey, this full moon can deliver a defining fork in the road moment, especially so for those born Mar 21 – 23. Sept 29/30 could deliver a conclusion, deadline, endpoint, contract or solidification of significance.

TAURUS (April 20 -May 20)

It seems you’ll start the month at a personal best or with the best of intentions. (You may be hitting a personal best stride too. While Mercury retrograde (to Sept 12) can challenge you with relationship or money shortfalls, it is important for you to carry on with the agenda you have set for yourself and not to let yourself get sidetracked. Empowering Pluto loans you backbone where you need it the most. If you have banked it previously, Mercury retrograde can be a time to retry or reapply. For the most part, petitions of merit will produce for you. Don’t let money stop you from education upgrades or from investing in yourself or your business.

The super new moon Sept 8 can deliver a turnaround time for romance, finances, and business/business partnerships. It is also a time when you can make visible progress with one of your kids, or with a particular health issue or circumstance. Something or someone of influence could show up, especially Sept 2, 3, 8, 9. Jupiter’s backtrack into Pisces can put you back into a social swing, and/or open you up to bright new potentials. Now through spring, you are on a fast-track lifestyle reinvention program. End of the month could bring a project or trial-run period to an end.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)

Mercury retrograde can keep you especially busy with family, back to school adjustments, home, and fall clean-ups. As is usual during the trickster cycle, appliance, vehicle or other repairs can eat into your reserves. If you need to start a renovation project or some such, wait until super new moon on Sept 8, or better yet, the end of Mercury retrograde (Sept 12.) The full moon Sept 23 could add something new and perhaps unexpected to the mix. It is a good time to step outside of the box/try something new or to take a risk on something just a little outside of your comfort zone. This is especially so in the area of employment, studies, or healing techniques and remedies. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained! Sept 8, Jupiter exits Aries to rejoin Uranus in the sign of Pisces. Now through spring, Jupiter and Uranus can help you to revamp your career goals, perhaps even to switch tracks into an altogether new field. This planetary duo can remove road-blocks or personal limitations that prevent you from accessing all that you could be/all that you want to be. Saturn and the Sun conjoin on Sept 29/30. Contracts and new business starts are favoured by this pairing. This is a solidification aspect that bodes well for long-lasting achievement, success, and harmony.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)

Par for the back to school drill, Mercury retrograde is sure to put you back in touch. The cycle also an appropriate time to redo business cards, promotional materials, advertising programs, and the like. Concentrate on getting yourself better organized and take care of that pile up before it gets any worse. Remember to allow added flexibility in your schedule, and while you hitting the due diligence stride, ask more questions or get a couple of price quotes before you settle on the service. The super new moon Sept 8 offers a strong launch for self-improvement programs. There may be extra work and adjusting to do, but it seems you are ready to take it on. The advances of Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14 into Scorpio are empowering, so now is the time to put full force behind your ambitions and intentions. Sept 21 through the full moon Sept 23 can see you/life veer off in a new direction. You could feel a sense that there is no time to waste, and you are right in this regard. Have courage, take a risk on yourself, act quick, dive in deep. You should see right away whether you are heading in the right direction or not. Jupiter’s backtrack into Pisces (through Jan 2011) extends your opportunity cycle; this planet’s influence increases potentials and builds confidence and creativity too. The Sun/Saturn conjunction Sept 29/30 highlights your base of operations (home, family, living arrangements, real estate, personal business, legal matters, leases, etc.) and is likely to busy you with an important contract or financial transaction.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Mercury retrograde can keep you especially busied with necessities and/or stretched by the unexpected extras. No matter how much you try to stay on top of things, more often than not, you are likely to meet with shortfalls or pitfalls. During the trickster’s cycle, it is advisable to delay major purchases, or to save the receipts just in case. Should you be perplexed by loose ends or feel no matter what you do that you still come up empty, simply allow for time to fill in the road map and/or to right your course. Once the retrograde cycle is over (Sept 12) you should be able to put your hands on more lucrative prospects and more satisfying solutions. Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14 in Scorpio intensifies the need to refortify where it counts the most –namely your home-base. Renovate an address, the walls, cupboards, or the people in it.

You may also feel that something new is stirring from deep inside of you. Gift yourself with time to reflect on these sensitivities, the waters run deep. The days leading up to the full moon Sept 23 could challenge you to give up the ghost or to let go in some unexpected way. Financial drain is possible too. It can be difficult to stay on track, and it can be near impossible to predict outcomes or what others are thinking, feeling or doing. Still, the full moon in Aries could be freeing in a positive way. A sudden solution or new avenue could appear. It could be a matter of a loss resulting in plus. Watch for a direction clear, a benefit, confirmation, or resolution to appear in the days following. End of the month, Saturn and the sun conjoin. Sept 29/30 is an ideal time to sign a contract, to finish off a project or campaign, to settle accounting or to solidify plans, intentions, and relationship commitments.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Despite Mercury’s retrograde backtracks or setbacks, you should find you can navigate through your work and your days just fine. Mars and Venus in Libra help you to take whatever comes your way in good stride. Reasonable begets reasonable. What you put into it comes back to you; for the most part work activities and relationships should run smoothly. The super new moon Sept 8 begins a new get-your-act-together chapter. Re the potentials, the unspoken, the unexplored, the hinted or the hoped for, Jupiter’s return to Pisces will open your awareness, perhaps beyond what you have envisioned to date. When you look back to this last quarter of the year, you will see how much you have experienced, changed, and grown, especially re the relationship arena (socially, professionally, personally.) The sign advances of Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14 into Scorpio prompts you to empower yourself by playing it wiser and tougher. New work or health techniques and habits, new tools, or modes of travel spell improvement. A re-direction re your studies or social activities can also be of significant benefit. Mix it up or shift gears altogether – it can put you on plus side. Sept 18 – 23 can be especially full days. Thanks to the Jupiter/Uranus ignition (conjunction) on Sept 18, there appears to be good opportunity and synchronic unfolding prior to full moon Sept 23. The unexpected or unplanned can occur, stay open, ready, willing, and able. In other words, seize the moment. Emotional or material, something important can solidify or be anchored at month’s end. Sept 29/30 can be a time to make a significant purchase, sign a contract, lease, or loan, or take on some other major responsibility.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Use Mercury’s retrograde cycle to stand back and observe, to review, bide time and/or lay low if you need to. Answers will come to you naturally if you give it enough time. Sept 3 can bring a significant insight or put more in play. The new moon Sept 8 can be informing for you too. From this date forward, you should find circumstances, ambition, creativity, and potentials take more shape. Jupiter’s return to Pisces suggests there is a residue of unfinished business to clean up Watch for the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction on Sept 18 (and the days bridging to the full moon Sept 23) to move things along, perhaps surprisingly or suddenly so. Watch for a rapid chain of events; circumstances or people could thrust a sudden switch. The full moon Sept 23 is especially arousing, even life altering, for those born on or near this date. This full moon could suddenly empower you, or revolutionize your life is some dramatic or profound way. Of course, know when anger or frustration is getting the better of the moment, and be especially careful when driving or using sharp tools. Sept 30 can bring you to a significant deadline or solidification point. An advance of circumstances should help you to harness the confidence and accord you need to carry it forward from here.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Mercury retrograde will see you interface with more people than you usually do. As is typical of the cycle, you’ll bump into friends and acquaintances along the way. You can feel inspired to volunteer, or perhaps you’ll feel the necessity to input more. Your presence, advice or skill sets can be important support, but be forewarned that you can also get pulled into complicated situations with friends, colleagues, or groups. Then again, Mercury retrograde may lead you to conclude that you have already given enough and that it is time to let someone else step up to the plate. (Of course, no one can truly match you.) The new moon Sept 8 along with the sing advances of Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14, into Scorpio deliver a fresh energy charge to personal ambitions, and to relationship and financial matters too. Jupiter’s return to Pisces extends your stellar opportunity cycle through January (and Uranus in Pisces keeps that live wire going strong through March). Added attention (public, professional) can come your way, especially so Sept 18 when Jupiter and Uranus spark. Romantic prospects could fire up too. Sept 18 – 23 (the full moon) can deliver thing after another. This can be a time to dive into a short project or sideline venture. Aim to hit it hard and to fast track it. Whatever you feel compelled to tackle (even a relationship) could be short lived, but it will be of potent significance all the same. Open a door, get a fast response. Sept 29/30 can deliver a confirmation or completion point.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Sept 3 could deliver an important announcement or a chance to meet up with an influential person. It can also be a lucrative day to deal with important negotiations, contract agreements, talks, or bank matters. Mercury retrograde can put you back to school, back to work, or back to the drawing board. If it isn’t for you, you’ll know it soon enough. Mercury retrograde is best used to flush out the weak links, so know that no matter what it looks like in the immediacy of the moment, it will prove productive. The cycle is set to reveal the flaws in your rationalizations, justifications, or plans. The new moon Sept 8 can launch a practical side or draw your attention to the mundane necessities. It can also shorten your patience for the shortfalls and limitations, which in turn, spurs you to action. Jupiter’s return to Pisces can increase your restlessness or find you ready to uproot yourself yet again. The advances of Venus, Sept 8, and Mars, Sept 14, into Scorpio suggests there is more potential building and more brewing than meets the eye. You may have secrets to guard. The fall delivers a time of transitions and is also a potent stage-setting cycle. The next couple of months will be a matter of setting wheels in motion as best as you can, but also of waiting for life to meet you and of synchronizing with circumstances as they unfold. It isn’t in full view now, but there is so much more waiting on the road ahead. Sept 18 can deliver unexpected activity re home or family. Be especially safety conscious around this time, especially re electrical, plumbing, water, cooking, and home security. Then again, Jupiter and Uranus could produce a wonderful time to host a party, gathering, workshop, or event. Spontaneity finds you at your creative best on the full moon Sept 23. Of course, it can be one extreme to the other, you can meet with great satisfaction or come up empty; you could run hot and cold in short order. End of the month can solidify a goal, a relationship; bring you to an important finish line or deliver an important event to attend.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Mercury retrograde can find you ready to plug back in, especially if you have been on a long wait or when there is a new draw to inspire you. If you have something to prove or to show-off to the world, the new moon through to the end of the month is definitely the right launch-it time. A new location, vocation, or relationship appears to offer great potential. It is a stage-setting month, in fact, you are facing a karmic stage-setting few months. Sept 3 and Sept 8 could bring news, mail, a visitor, an event, insight, or opportunity. Hopefully, you’ll see the fall schedule slip on like a glove. Jupiter’s dip back into Pisces (Sept 8 through the end of Jan 2011) along with the advances of Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14, into Scorpio can draw more people into your life, through career pursuits and through your social life too. This can be a lucrative time to mix business and pleasure, so talk it up and network all you can. Attend to studies, marketing, writing, study and research projects. Stay on top of what you need to. The competition can be stiff, if you want to stand out from the crowd, aim to deliver better than the rest. Jupiter and Uranus conjoin on Sept 18; watch for synchronicity and social opportunity to strike. In fact, Sept 18 through the full moon Sept 23 is likely to be an especially busy one thing after another time. The Aries full moon could toss a new element or consideration into the mix. You may feel compelled to jump into something quick, or you may decide to pull a plug. In either case, it seems circumstances set your clock. Sept 29/30 brings you to an important finish line; use these dates to settle bank or financial matters, or to sign a contract. Month’s end can bring fruition, accomplishment, acknowledgment, and greater personal accord.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Debt, finances, joint resources, and intimate relationships can fall prey to Mercury’s retrograde backtrack cycle. Health may also be of added concern, yours, or that of someone close to you. What takes place for another – emotional, material, or physical – can affect you too. Beyond the actual circumstance of the retrograde cycle, there is a bigger picture message or a key for you to sort out. Sept 3 can be can be a day to have an important talk or air clearing. Viable/workable could dry up temporarily (payments/receivables can be slow coming too), but look to the new moon Sept 8 and the end of Mercury retrograde (Sept 12) to get the movement going again. The advances of Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14 into Scorpio suggests the necessity to re-strategize/prioritize financial and professional expectations, commitments, and goals, or to upgrade equipment, etc. where necessary. It is the right time to rearrange the way you function; aim for better targets and more empowering alliances. Don’t hesitate to change banks, or professional and legal advisors if you see the need. What you put in play past Mercury retrograde (Sept 12) should prove to beneficial/place you at advantage or opportunity by Nov. The full moon Sept 23 will see you take you a big step forward. You should see uncertainty, duality, or fence-sitting clear. A piece of information, or meeting could deliver the deciding key. Sept 29/30 could see a contract finalization, a court settlement (perhaps out of court), or time to cut-losses and wrap-it-up.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Virgo month and Mercury’s retrograde tour through this sign puts the spotlight focus on partnerships and cooperative needs. The shortfalls and pitfalls of depending, sharing, or teaming up with others can become more obvious now. The let-downs, the empty promises, the dualities, the excuse-makings – it can be disappointing to say the least (perhaps costly too.) Of course, Mercury retrograde is meant to show you the flaws are so that you can make the necessary corrections. The sign advances of Venus, Sept 8 and Mars, Sept 14 into Scorpio can be empowering in this regard. Watch for your intuition to kick in stronger. As the month advances you should find you can strip it down to your better bets and create more effectiveness for yourself. Through the summer, Jupiter and Uranus in Aries may have opened a window and given you a taster of what is to come; now both return to your sign for a final pass. From Sept 8 through Jan, Jupiter in Pisces (especially influential for those born near Mar 20) suggests there is more to experience, to explore and to clear away. Uranus and Jupiter will re-meet again on Sept 18; their influence should be an energizing catalyst for you. Wheels will spin much faster from this point forward. Sept 18 to the full moon Sept 23 thrusts you on the race-ahead program. Watch for something important (financial, emotional) to be nailed down or settled in short order. Sept 29/30 Saturn teamed with the sun is a time to seal the deal or to finish it off.

Forecast Overview:Lunar Eclipse; Super New Moon; Cancer/Capricorn nodes

Bringing the count to five out of six this year, August 5 delivers the last eclipse of the summer. The physical properties of this lunar eclipse makes visibility hard to see with the naked eye, but it is a full moon in live-wire Aquarius and this sign is always good for a jolt or a revolt of one kind or another.

The Aug 5 eclipse travels over most of South America, the Atlantic Ocean, Greenland, Europe (including Norway, Sweden, lower portion of Finland, Russia’s Moscow & St. Petersburg,) Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. While Honduras is just outside of the eclipse, ally Venezuela is within its jurisdiction. Essentially this eclipse holds court over a good portion of the trouble spots and powerbases on the globe.

The full moon lunar eclipse in liberating Aquarius is one of surprising synchronicity, exceptional occurrences, sudden severings and rapid advances, welcomed or not. Typical of this sign, the unexpected, the unleashed, and the out-of-control can cause significant alteration, disruption, or even shock. Aquarius rules atmospheric conditions, not only pertaining to the air we breathe, but also to our social, political, economic, and cultural climates.

Typical of the season, the excessively dry weather conditions now bring the seasonal battle of forest wildfires to priority attention. Mars in square to Saturn, a pressure ceiling influence particularly energized by the eclipse (effective Aug 1 – 12) is an especially concerning signature in this regard. Watch for a break in the present momentum/pressure, a forward thrust, an easing up and/or a gain of ground just past the eclipse, Aug 11/12.

Positive potentials for the month ahead could pertain to scientific advances (wonder what we’ll learn from the latest space shuttle mission; did you hear the latest reports on the electric sunshine – Aquarius/Leo of tanning beds?), new cultural or lifestyle trends, major mergers (Yahoo and Google), timely accords and alliances, an exceptional opportunity, and surprising/significant relationship hookups. Aug 1-2 (a holiday weekend in BC) hosts Gay Pride weekend in Vancouver, parades, and all. This popular event is perfectly aligned with the eclipse for raising social consciousness/acceptance – and for enjoying a wild and colorful party!

On a more jarring note, the lunar eclipse could be a catalyst for widening the social divides, shocking terrorist activities/uprisings (bombings, hostage murders, etc.) accidents (pertaining to aviation, electrical, mechanical, railway, firearms, explosives, etc.), sudden passages/deaths, relationship or political severing, political conflict, controversy, or scandal, and weather extremes that cause devastation. (July 31, a lightening strike has caused a significant wildfire in Whistler, B.C., home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Thankfully at this moment, reports say the damage incurred as of this writing is not expected to not affect the Olympics.)

Whether consciously driven toward personal reinvention or forced forward through challenging circumstance, Aquarius serves to quicken the pace of our personal life journey. New needs and opportunities can quickly replace or super-cede that which we have rationalized as important or of priority. This shake-it-up sign archetype can unearth, uproot, shatter, excite, incite, electrify, and disrupt and so we are likely to see the Lunar Eclipse blast the cover off the rising undercurrents that now create unrest within body, mind or soul. Mars in Gemini in trine to the lunar eclipse creates the necessary opening for significant change to occur. This aspect could soften the effects of the eclipse somewhat, but it must be said that facilitating aspects can also create a window of opportunity for harsh things to happen too. Occurring in Aquarius (at 13:43), this eclipse could be particularly catapulting or life altering for: Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio (especially those born around: Feb 2, May 4, Nov 6.) and for those born: 1946-49; 1959; 1960; 1977 – 1979; spring 1989; fall 1990.

Partnered with the Solar Eclipse of July 21 which occurred at 29 degrees of Cancer, a culminating degree, this lunar eclipse in Aquarius signals that we are on the road to a collective awakening of significance. Noting that this pair of eclipses will set the benchmark for the next 6 – 7 years, we can expect the years ahead to be a critical time of reconciling with the past (Cancer) and of accelerating the journey forward. Looking back on these years, we are likely to be amazed at how far we have come in a short span of time, especially in the area of new energy and other scientific advances that improve the quality of life for all. Social, humanitarian and political initiatives are also likely to come along way in a short span of time, primarily because there is little choice but to make the world a better, safer, healthier place. Looking forward from here, it seems we have a very long way to go.

Aug 20 brings the last of three Super New Moons in a row. In the sign of Leo (27 degrees), this new moon can signal the birth of a new take charge consciousness, perhaps one that is a significant departure from your/our present way of being and creating in the world. Leo emphasized suggests the need to see more of your own light shine through the life you have created. Are you operating at your best now? If not, how can you gain yourself back? Where is the joy, the love, the laughter, the play, the abundance, the accolades? (Note: Afghanistan will hold their second public election on this new moon.)

Aug 21, the karmic (nodal) axis will leave the Leo/Aquarius sign polarity and begin a 20 month cycle into the next sign polarity. To March 2011, the karmic axis traveling through Cancer/Capricorn will draw attention to how our past choices now support, define, limit, and/or dominate our present reality base, which also shapes/dictates the range of options for where we can go from here. Cancer correlates to our private life foundations (family and such) and Capricorn correlates to our outer life realities (profession, material standing, socialized context, relationship to authority, etc). The next 18 months is one of intensified reshaping of the corporate, political, and social ego. Each in our own way, we are coming to see that it is an essential time to reset priorities within our private lives too. Know it or not, we are in a race against the clock. We only have a short window of opportunity in which to create better potentials for our future before the larger force of fate take the reins. On a more immediate note, the last ten days of the month can be the set up for the next Saturn/Uranus opposition that will occur in mid September. Pay close attention, and stay on top of what you need to.

Lunar Eclipse: Aug 5, 5:55 pm PDT; 13:43 Aquarius

Super New Moon: Aug 20, 3:02 am PDT; 27:32 Leo

Dates of note: Aug 1 -3, 9 – 15, 17, 20, 21, 26 – 29.

ARIES (MARCH 20 – APRIL 19)

The lunar eclipse can deliver an unexpected opportunity of great significance. It could set your life on a new and perhaps unexpected course. Exceptional synchronicity is at play. A much hoped for dream or potential could suddenly open up for you. Watch for a timely meeting of minds and hearts. Your attention could be drawn by a special someone, or by a particular group, or community. Your relationship with a figurehead, mentor, prominent individual, or someone who has otherwise exerted significant influence in your life could undergo a significant change. A sudden departure or surprise arrival is also under the range of possibilities for this eclipse. The nodal axis sign shift accelerates a transition cycle of significance. Over the next 18 months, you will wind down/clear off the residues of unfinished business (including family matters/relationships) while at the same time you will begin to set the cornerstones in place for a new and abundant life and a new, more resilient you. Aug 10 through the Super New Moon Aug 20 could be a “happening” time. Of particular note: Aug 12 – 14 (news, opportunity, windfalls), Aug 15 (action) Aug 16/17 (serious communications, contract talks, finish lines); Aug 20/21 sudden, unexpected; Aug 26 -29 work out the details; these dates find you ambitious and under pressure, and show a need to exert yourself even more.

TAURUS (APRIL 19 – MAY 20)

Start of the month could find you in transit or in transition. Time off or time away is ideal; a vacation can be well timed. While your previous emotional, financial, or time investment re a relationship, plan or ambition can be significant, if you have outgrown it, you will find you cannot stay the course no matter how hard you try. Moving past the past is definitely where it’s at. The lunar eclipse will prompt you to reinvent the way you take control and the way you need to shape it from here. When it comes to dealing with parents or parenting, your best policy may be a hands-off stance (no matter how white knuckled that seems!). Accelerating circumstances, the lunar eclipse could cut you loose from a corporate structure; a new empty nest status could be another prompt that causes you to move faster along your personal reinvention. You could be overwhelmed by too much going on at once; things could get out of control or beyond control quite fast. For those who are heading in the right direction, ambitions/circumstances could fall into place quite beautifully. For some, your new life can be so ready made and so natural, you will wonder why it took so long to figure it out. If you are on the hunt for a new job or a new residence, know prospects can improve as early as Aug 4, but are better yet past Aug 11. Aug 14 – 18 can be a lucrative for finding what you are looking for, (i.e.: a job, new residence, prospective clients, financial backing, an educational program; an agent/rep; a new car); and for self-promotion, marketing, sales, interviews, negotiations, course enrollment, applications, and contract talks. While you are more than ready for that fresh new start, impatience and impulsiveness can get the better of you once the super new moon Aug 20 energizes. This Super New Moon could surprise you with a new consideration or concern, or it could create a sudden window of opportunity. While a show of confidence looks good on you and risk is part of the package, overconfidence and reckless speculation or risk-taking could blow up on you. Know when you are talking yourself into unwise action and make sure to look before you leap.

GEMINI (May 20 – June 20/21)

Venus, planet of net worth and self worth, was in a challenging position to Saturn on the last eclipse (July 21), and warrior Mars, the planet that targets your inner duality and divides, challenges you on the lunar eclipse Aug 5. On the positive note, the eclipse provides a window of opportunity that can prompt a personal breakthrough point of significance. Once the light bulb goes on, it will leads to the start of inner unification that can help you operate as a group of one instead of a crowd of different voices. Aug 5 – 7 can see it all come flooding in at once. Expect surprise opportunity, synchronistic meetings and connections. You’ll find yourself on the go much more than usual. Watch for a special event, public attention, unexpected visitors or departures, surprise news, unexpected freedom, an educational or professional potential. Your social life, vacation time, or travel can be especially delightful/rewarding now. There can be plenty of added pressure too, and perhaps a sudden or surprise loss. Speculative or stock market investments are tricky; extremes are likely. Know that the current up-turn in the market is a temporary bubble with a potential sudden drop-off. To better your success ratio, your best professional strategy is to look for a gap and to fill the niche (isn’t it always the way?). If you have thought of picking up and moving, or of switching your line of work, this eclipse could be the prompt that does it. For the most part, real estate markets will continue to put buyers at an advantage. If you have had a difficult time persevering or pushing through, look for Mars in favorable aspect to the triple alignment of Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron Aug 11 – 19 to facilitate an easier, smoother, freer go. The Super New Moon Aug 20 offers another lucrative fresh start cycle, especially for communications, sales and promotional ventures, health and other get-ahead programs. Family, a home move, renovations, or preparations for back to school season can keep you especially busy in the last ten days of the month.

CANCER (June 21/22 – July 22)

Start of the month could bring a pressure cooker feel, especially if you are born around June 21. As Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto (and Juno opposes Ceres), you could feel a compelling urge to throw off everything and to jump into something new full tilt. Suffice to say, whatever you feel, you are likely to feel it intensely. Hot and heavy right from the start, a new attraction can start with that déjà vu feel. Partings also bring a sense of destiny’s hand at the steering wheel. The lunar eclipse Aug 5 can move financial, relationship or health matters along quicker than you anticipate. Watch for opportunity, surprise attention, significant news or revelations, a sudden departure or a sudden need to take definitive action, unexpected complications or added expense. Aug 10 – 12 can find you working hard to figure it out, or pushing toward a finish line or deadline of significance. Aug 13 to the Super New Moon Aug 20 could be an ideal time to get away from it all. These dates could also provide answers, opportunity or a clearer sense of the direction forward. Aug 17, 18 can bring a good time to sign a contract, to put a deposit down or to make some other final arrangement/commitment. Just when you think you have it all figured out, Mercury opposing Uranus could cause a disruption (Aug 20/21.) Mars’ advance into Cancer Aug 25 can bring another round of inflammation, challenge, or pressure. Aug 25 – 30 can be a testing time, but stay ambitious, keep working on it, and don’t stop until you get what you want. The karmic axis suggests the need to open yourself up to a new way of being in the world and of showing up for yourself too. The next 18 months can be a time of ripening/harvesting in some areas of your life, while other areas call for you to figure out how to come at it from a brand new angle.

LEO (JULY 22 – AUG 22)

Work, baby-sitting (children, friends, family, or partners), child-minding/rearing, or good-for-you-routines could be somewhat of a struggle as the month begins. Having said that, Venus in Cancer finds you in the mood for relaxation and other sweet treats (romance, for example.) The oven roast temperatures are likely to slow you down somewhat, but watch for lunar eclipse Aug 5 prompt to rev it up for you again. Watch for something abrupt or unexpected to divert your attention, plus or minus. The pressurized days following the lunar eclipse keep the intensity going strong. Aug 11 – 19 you may move past a number of hurdles or significant thresholds. Aug 13 – 16 the stars can put you on the move. Aug 18 – 19 could bring you to a contract signing, decision, a time to a clearing away of unfinished business or to finish line of significance. The Super New Moon Aug 20 sets up a particularly dynamic fresh start year for those born on or around this date. New steps forward can involve a significant severing of ties. It can be a matter of saying goodbye, of rejecting one in favor of another, and/or of recognizing what and who you have outgrown. The sign advance of the karmic axis is set to help you to become better integrated. It will put a more serious spin on your daily requirements (job performance, health, home and family, etc.), and will make you more ambitious to get to where you know you should be. The last week of the month could find you under added pressure or overwhelmed with too much on your plate, stretched financially or emotionally, or challenged to switch gears.

VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)

A new chapter is about to begin, and you can feel the clock count down/lateness of the hour quite strongly now. Mars and Saturn can put you under added pressure in the first ten days of the month. Frustration can build, especially when you feel you aren’t get the attention or respect you deserve. The job hunt, the rules, conflicting messages from your boss or other authority figures, bank dealings, official paperwork, etc. can be challenging. You may feel like you are always on the hook for something while others get away with more than they should. Still, it’s important to put your best foot forward, to stay attentive to detail, service-oriented, and to stand always ready and available. If you stay on top of what you need to, the second half of the month could deliver reward. At the very least, you won’t feel so overwhelmed, unduly pressured or put asunder if you keep yourself up to speed. As Mars trines the triple alignment, more can be asked of you, but it seems you will readily have what it takes – or you will find a way to make it so. Borrow more if you need to; branch out, seek additional training to upgrade employable skills. The super new moon is set to unlock more of your hidden reserves and potentials, and to open you up to yourself in some new way. The journey can be primarily an internal one. Self examination intensifies your awareness and need to put self-interests first for a change. This Super New Moon fires up an increased desire for greater independence – to run your own show, to gain greater freedom and self-autonomy. Desire/wanting more is the first step to getting more. Aug 20 – Sept 1 is the time to put maximum effort into making the big breakaway. Set yourself a deadline and aim to get it done. Aim to push it hard, Aug 20 through end of the month.

LIBRA (SEPT 22 – OCT 22/23)

You have entered a wonderful opportunity cycle thanks to both the recent solar eclipse (July 21) and the lunar eclipse, Aug 5 – hopefully you will recognize it as such. Progressively, blocks are being removed, one at a time. Venus and Mars in Gemini can catapult you out of a holding pattern or a dry spell. Should you decide to undertake a significant change, you should find an ability to switch tracks without skipping a beat. Ceres enters Libra Aug 4 Past Aug 10, you should find that it is easy to reach out to others and to connect dots that may have seemed near impossible just a short time ago. Beyond the delight of a well-timed vacation, the lunar eclipse can deliver auspicious synchronicity. You could be taken by surprise, but no matter what it looks like in the moment, the unexpected could prove to be a lucky windfall. Take the world by storm, make a career splash and bask in the spotlight, relocate, branch out into a brand new lifestyle, seek specialized training, or hedge your bets on love with someone who is a complete departure from your usual. Possibilities for this eclipse: news, an out of the blue offer or contract, a legal advantage, publishing, performing, group or political involvement. Note that whatever is started now will become your central focus for the next 6 or 7 years. This is especially so for those born around Oct 22. Aug 10 – 19 can prove to be especially opportune dates, so don’t let them pass you by – work them to your advantage. The Super New Moon on Aug 21 can take you the next level, but there may be a residue of working out to do. You could feel tested by circumstance and question whether you are truly on track, but as they say, all good things are worth the effort.

SCORPIO (OCT 22/23 – NOV 21)

Those born around Nov 6 can find home life, family, or professional matters especially affected by the stage setting lunar eclipse Aug 5. This lunar eclipse is set to catapult you in an entirely new direction, perhaps unexpectedly so. It is a time of transition; there can be a sudden departure of a family member, perhaps a parent. It may be time to pull the plug on a business/business venture that is not delivering the goods, and to search for a more lucrative replacement. The lunar eclipse suggests there will be plenty of new prospects or considerations to occupy and entertain you. You could be called to task by forces beyond your control. If so, recognize the writing on the wall as a natural progression and stop flogging a dead horse. Downsize and streamline as best you can. If the solar eclipse has brought financial or challenging circumstance, the lunar eclipse will take you forward and/or force you to do something about it. For some, it could be time to call a professional, personal, or romantic relationship quits. For others, a financial or romantic partnership could catapult your life into brand new territory. Expand your search, consider new avenues, try something new; it could be a refreshing departure. While the Aug 5 eclipse can bring an abrupt and perhaps even shocking change or departure for those born at the beginning of November, those born around Oct 22 can feel especially cradled by the universe now. The Super New Moon Aug 20 through end of the month can move professional or financial matters, contracts, financial or personal ambitions through a test period.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 21- DEC 21)

One door may have closed, but another one is already open and it’s likely to be much more vibrant and lucrative than “the one that got away”. The lunar eclipse Aug 5 can prompt you or force you to expand your ideas and to repackage what you have already launched. You could suddenly discover a new avenue or opportunity. Before you can climb to where you know you ought to be now and to reach the higher ground you know is possible, you will have to discover the link/winning combination that will get you there, and then you will need to put extra effort into keeping it alive and generating. Your connections, liaisons, fans, and agents are important here. Word of mouth can do you better than tossing extra dollars into advertising. Passive income can provide a better cushion, so try to produce/harness a product you can resell, trade, or barter in multiples. Consider office sharing, or a roommate or renter in order to ease up on your overhead. If you want to move in a new career direction altogether but can’t jump ship just yet, don’t delay, take a stab at it now while you keep steady with the commitment you already have. The lunar eclipse can clear up any doubt or confusion you have had about which way to turn, professionally, financially personally, and romantically too. Watch for circumstances, signs, or people to reveal themselves. This lunar eclipse brings favor to publishing, performing, travel/foreign affairs, long distance connections/love affairs, long-range plans, educational pursuits, athletic ambitions, legal matters, and public involvement. Look at the next three months as a stage setting and try to resituate yourself as best you can now in order to optimize your down the road potentials. Aug 10- 19 can be a time to get away, or to liberate yourself in some other way. This can be a definitive time for professional or personal relationships, negotiations, and contracts. It can also be a time to aim to knock down a wall, push past an impasse, end a relationship, or put a stop to time wasters and marginal activities. It may be time to trade in the car or to fix other transportation issues, to hire a new agent or lawyer, or to get a second opinion from a health care professional. The confidence building Super New Moon Aug 20 can bring special attention or publicity, a sense of rightness or righteous-ness that encourages you to move forward. Aug 21 -Sept 1, give it the big push.

CAPRICORN (DEC 21 – JAN 19)

It is a time to take stock of your essential needs, personal resources, and the value systems that make your life workable, – or not workable for that matter. The next step is to undertake whatever change is necessary in order to extricate yourself from the less than generating, and to move into the win/win category that you know is not only possible, but vital to your future wellbeing. This is a very potent time to up the ante on your personal, material and relationship reinvention. It calls for you to become more aware of how you keep yourself on autopilot and how you need to break free from the rationalizations or excuse-making that holds you back from risking-taking and from showing up for yourself. Whether jarring or exhilarating, the bringing-it-to-life lunar eclipse Aug 5 can be a positive catalyst in the above regard. Sudden realizations, the discovery of new talents, capacities, or resources could get you moving a lot faster. Viable new financial prospects (investments or income sources) can appear too. Upgrade your employable skills, processes, tools, equipment, or products. Give something or someone new a try. The next several months, in fact the rest of the year, are going to continue to push you hard. This is especially so if you are born around Dec. 21. Aug 10 -14 can see you make a major advance or purchase/can be a significant breakthrough time (personal, professional.) Aug 11 – 19 is also a good time for a getaway, enjoyments, entertainments, scouting, visits, and socializing. Aug 16 -17 can be a time to finalize contracts, plans, or to finish off visits or something important. The Super New Moon, Aug 20, places added significance on inheritances, wills, self-employment prospects, and the successes of your partners, or of partnerships, financial or romantic. Both the lunar eclipse and the super new moon will draw attention to your partnership plus or minus categories, to your need to take charge and separate who you are from where you find yourself. Today’s bricklaying will net later payoff. If you continue to avoid moving forward, things could get more difficult for you later. Determination and persistence looks good on you, Aug 20 – Sept 1.

AQUARIUS (JAN 19 – FEB 18)

A huge month lays ahead, one that could alter your life in key and dramatic ways. The lunar eclipse Aug 5 is set to make your choices and options a lot more obvious, perhaps strikingly so. It’s cut-to-the-chase time. There’s no reason to accept an imposed limitation or settle for less when a brand new direction is ripe for the picking. This eclipse is wonderfully opportune. You could find yourself on a sudden and rapid go. Someone or something of primary significance could make a surprise entrance or exit. This lunar eclipse ignites Mars in Gemini and it suggests you can branch out, diversify, or team up more easily and more successfully. Go with the people and prospects that ignite and inspire you, rather than those that shut you down or clip your wings. It’s okay, – even essential, to give others time to find their way in order to come up to your speed, but know the difference from investing your time in something or someone worthy, from the flogging a dead horse routine. Aug 10 through the Super New Moon, Aug 20, could be a happening, fruitful, lucrative – even a lucky time – for big steps forward. (Get married/elope, travel, relocate, become a star, a professional, run your own show; sign a major contract, say yes to having another kid.) Your creativity, career, love life, and social life can blossom now. Aug 21 – Sept 1, get serious, get your affairs in order, hash out the details.

PISCES (FEB 18 – MAR 20)

You are on an awakening journey now. It is a profound personal journey of self-discovery and self-transcendence, one that could potentially take you through a great loss, but also, and more importantly, a journey that opens you up to the potential for much greater gain. What is required of you now is your complete attention and devotion to the moment, and your absolute surrender to the unfolding process. For some, the life force of lunar eclipse Aug 5 could come on like the zap of a lightening bolt through your very soul. This eclipse is set to deliver a climatic breakthrough moment and to move the circumstances of your life into a greatly accelerated fast forward. It is one of removing of barriers, blocks, and self-doubt; of moving beyond an existence of exile or imprisonment (self-imposed or of the bindings of circumstance), and of relinquishing and transcending the pain, punishment, and sacrifice routine that is so common to you now. Work, health, heart, children (i.e. having more/fertility prospects, your relationship with them, their health and happiness), creative unfolding, and spiritual advancement are the target areas where you will see the catalytic effects of the eclipse and the Super New Moon launch cycle, Aug 20. Mars in square to Mercury, Aug 21 – Sept 1, will help you to cut to the chase and to remove the excuse making. This planetary aspect will also help to make decisions that will un-tether you. It is time to support yourself better, to discriminate between who and what are your best resources, to reach out when you feel in need. The journey forward also intends for you to make a distinction between true friends and users, purposeful and needless sacrifice, and will help you to reconcile with your inner guilt, whether its root cause pertains to letting yourself down or whether it is rooted in some sense of failing re your relationships or missed opportunities.

September Overview: Jupiter retrograde; Pluto direct; Venus/Mars new cycle; Mercury retrograde

Although we can feel reluctant to admit that sun and fun season has come to an end, we’ll don the yoke of back to work or school routines quite naturally. Getting down to business may be a slow gait to begin with (especially for those dealing with Gustav and other crises), but past this first week of September, the unleashing of Jupiter (Sept and powerhouse Pluto (Sept 9) from their retrograde cycles flicks a big forward thrust switch. Note the coincidence – television programs are making the switch to high density viewing on these dates. Jupiter and Pluto in direct motion again signals that the race is on in full force; it’s the start of the final stretch to the US November 4 presidential election. It should come as no surprise to see political campaigning intensify greatly in coming weeks.

When Jupiter tours retrograde, we are prompted to inner questioning which necessarily results in an adjustment or revision of direction. This has certainly been the case for Hillary Clinton, whose political momentum unraveled once Jupiter began retrograde (followed by Neptune retrograde, Pluto retrograde backing into Sagittarius, and the final nail on the coffin, Uranus retrograde.) Now, as Jupiter completes retrograde, she has repackaged her message and has returned to the public spotlight with resilient force (her speech at the DNC was described as dynamic and inspiring.)

Pluto’s return to direct motion signals its final tour of Sagittarius, Sept 9 through end of November, provides one last opportunity to secure the option on our future by reaching out to maximize on the best and brightest of potentials now. Choice is still up for grabs. Once Pluto leaves Sagittarius, the dictates of a new program and new world order will be upon us. The necessities of Pluto in Capricorn’s era (through 2024), that of the restructuring of everyday reality, will place significant new limits on our every move.

Venus and Mars begin a new relationship cycle Sept 11 in the sign of Libra, with Mercury tagging along. As a social sign, this Libra fresh start suggests that we can attract new people, and new types of people too. We also have an opportunity to create a new way of expressing ourselves when in relationship. This new approach extends to the way we attract and handle money too, and how we evaluate and create our overall material wellbeing. Mercury’s involvement suggests friends can cross the threshold to lovers, and that lovers have the potential to become better friends. Mercury and Mars also suggest that there can be separations, partners, friends, or acquaintances can leave our lives now too.

On a broader note, Mercury suggests it pays to advertise, so know that appearances factor more prominently now. McCain seems to have gotten this message; note his choice of a woman as his running mate (does this act ring of transparency?) It is interesting to note that on the Nov 4 election, Mercury will start the day in the sign of Libra but finishes it in Scorpio. (Scorpio can be empowering and has many fine attributes, but it can also correlate to underhandedness, secrets, manipulation and subterfuge.) While it appears that Obama seems have to gained more media prominence and seems to many as the obvious favorite (Mercury in Libra), don’t under-estimate the power of the competition or behind the scenes workings. We may not truly know who will win the race until the last moment, but we can expect the results to illicit a very emotional outpouring. Beyond the controversy and backlash, hopefully Nov 4 will translate into a vote for positive political change in keeping with the advancing times (rather than create a throwback to the past.) I will write more about the election planetary influences in a future post.

Noting that the last three Venus/Mars cycles (Nov 2006, Dec 2004, and Dec 2002) have initiated in the sign of Scorpio have been particularly transforming. Many of us have been working through our personal shadow journeys and also through relationship betrayals and loss. For those who have faced a tough go, hopefully this next Venus/Mars cycle in Libra will tip the scales in the other direction so that our desires call forth from a more loving and joyous pool. This new Venus/Mars cycle lasts until April 22 2009 and provides opportunity for the taking. Reach out in a new way and you could create a winner’s hand.

On a general note, mover and shaker Mercury’s involvement with Venus and Mars suggest your best advantages lie in knowing who you friends are and what they are up to. Agents, friends, mediators, promoters, and lawyers can be instrumental in providing that leg up. It pays to get moving, get circulating, get educated. Talk yourself or your products up; network, socialize, scout, negotiate, compare, compete; write, compose. Mercury in Libra can also ignite a spirit of friendly competition, which can sometimes be a good thing. Then again, competition can also be costly or disconcerting, (especially if we find ourselves in a three-way relationship that has not been agreed upon.)

Mercury turns retrograde Sept 24 to Oct 15. The free-flowing influence of Neptune can ignite romance and creativity, but it also suggests that we can be more susceptible than usual to seeing what we want to see. Our folly can be in projection, expectations, laxity, over-indulgence, vulnerability. We can take things too casually, assuming that others are on the same page, or that they will play fair. We can get lazy or indulge in financial wastefulness. While it’s possible to get away with a little more, in some cases, it can prove to be costly later. Keep principles and integrity in mind and don’t cross unacceptable thresholds. Of course, the typical Mercury retrograde warnings are in effect: lock up, take extra precautions with your health and valuables, don’t drink and drive, don’t take promises at face value, don’t ignore warning signals and think safety first. On another note, if you have felt jammed up or are usually a resistant type, this pliable Mercury/Neptune combination can help you to drop your guards long enough to let others in.

Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo facilitate each other beautifully this month and stay in trine through the end of the year. This manifesting combination brings the longer-term bigger-picture into a sharper, down to earth view. It is one of planning, foresight, and visible results. When you employ a realistic, eyes-open approach combined with patience, diligence and extra caution through Mercury’s retrograde cycle, greater than usual strides can be made. If you can see it as possible, it is already half-the-way built.

Dates to note: Sept 3, 8, 9, 11 – 14, 20, 21 – 24. (Full Moon, Sept 14; New Moon Sept 29.)

Mercury retrograde: Sept 24 (22 Libra) to Oct 15 (7 Libra)

ARIES (MARCH 20 – APRIL 19)

Put head and heart together and you’ll find yourself heading in the right direction with plenty extra to show for yourself. It’s a time to lay new foundations and to harvest the benefits of past efforts too. Determination and resolve are among your chief assets, a proper attitude and consistent work ethic serves you well too. As the saying goes, it isn’t so much what you know, but who you know. Mercury, Venus and Mars in Libra have signed you up for a popularity contest. The month ahead puts an especially high emphasis on your social life, your connections, and your public persona. Libra stars also draw added attention to the balancing act between needs and wants. Teamwork, significant partnerships, joint ventures, and key people/supporters factor more prominently now too. Pertaining to romance, friendship, or business/financial matters, a key person can enter your life now. A new business venture/investment with a friend, a sibling, or your significant other could be lucrative, so long as you start with open, honest communication, fair play, equal participation, and there’s no unsavory competition between you. It’s a month to make connections, gain support, groom customer loyalty, and to engage in talks and negotiations. A lucrative contract can be in the works, Banking, contracts or legal negotiations can also be top priority. Take care of business before Mercury turns retrograde. Although the cycle can be a mild one, there’s a propensity for buying into the potential or romance, and for missing the real story. Sept 3, 4 can bring you to an important decision or finalization. Sept 8, 9, 11 -15 can move circumstances into a faster forward. Mercury retrograde can see a backtracking on promises, or find you reuniting with friends, acquaintances, or lovers. Jupiter and Pluto in direct motion can take you out of a holding pattern with professional matters or personal ambitions; watch for more opportunity and recognition your way.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

It shouldn’t be too difficult to plug into a new schedule or daily routine. You are likely to feel an instant camaraderie with new co-workers, fellow students, etc. In fact, you could spend more time talking than working while Venus, Mercury, and Mars enjoy each other’s company (Sept 8 – 17.) Jupiter and Saturn can bring an “in charge” feel, suggesting you should maintain a good grip on most things. Still, don’t take things or people for granted or you could be in for surprise, especially Sept 11 – 13, when Sun and Uranus oppose (watch for an abrupt eruption, or interruption.) Conversely, these dates could provide an opportunity of significance. Sept 17 – 21, problems, conflicts, divided camps, sensitivity, and expenses can begin to inflate. Listen to your growing intuition and don’t procrastinate. Know that the upcoming Mercury retrograde cycle (Sept 25 to Oct 14) can give you run for it, put safeguards in place. Avoid gossip and don’t divulge information that could later boomerang on you. Money or efforts can be wasted, promises or plans can dissolve, expectations and trust can see a let down. This Mercury retrograde also compromises immune systems, so pump up on vitamins and health regimes too. Jupiter and Pluto’s direction change (to direct motion) suggests better progress can be made, but it also suggests that there’s no avoiding the truth. Confront what you need to and get it handled. While Mercury retrograde can give you extra time (to observe or feel your way along) or extra practice (re problem solving), in reality, there is no room left for the marginal. Don’t be fence sitter now; a full commitment is your best recipe for success.

GEMINI (May 20 – June 20)

Once you get up and rolling, you will quickly get used to the change of season. Summer may soon be but a distant memory. While that may seem like a tragic thought, in actuality, Uranus, along with Jupiter and Pluto returning to direct motion, can make you feel like the brakes have just come off, especially re important professional, financial, or relationship matters. The days leading up to the Full Moon Sept 15 can be highly charged; watch for significant personal or career breakthroughs, major decisions, news, settlements, and answers, or unexpected detours, expenses, etc. Overall, the month ahead suggests connections and inroads can be easily made; cooperation, teamwork, and sharing are at an optimum while Venus, Mars, and Mercury join forces in Libra. Mars in Libra keeps your love life/prospects vibrant. You’ll also appreciate the fresh infusion provided by a new focus (work ambitions, creative projects, people).Note that the start of Mercury’s retrograde tour is a good time to coast; but it can find you slacking off, getting sidetracked, or spending more than you should. Know you can easily swayed by advertising or sweet talkers. While you might not know with certainty where your new relationship/new life is going, enjoy the moment for what it’s worth and worry about tomorrow when it shows up. Then again, if nagging doubt or suspicion is crowding you, try to honor it and stay observant. Time will reveal all. If a separation or departure becomes necessary, (job, relationship, financial re-organization, etc.) it can most likely be handled amicably/smoothly.

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)

September offers a fresh start where it counts the most. They need you, they want you, they love you; family/family concerns and involvements are likely to keep you especially occupied. They can be your best support system; it seems you can support yourself better now too. Your ability to connect, convey, and communicate is in good shape; you can easily gain approval and favor with clients and those in authority/power positions. As the month advances, you’ll surpass some of your own roadblocks. Sept 11 – 16, are busy, happening days; the Full Moon puts life on a much faster spin. Sept 20 – 22 takes you over another important threshold/puts you in the know. Modify your technique, plans or ambitions as the moment calls for. Reconnections, with family or those who have captured your heart can be sweet. Mercury retrograde can put you in a nostalgic and or romantic frame of mind. When love is good (and especially if it is a new chapter), romance can be all-consuming – you could feel somewhat lost without them. If you are newly on your own, know facilitating stars make transitions easier to handle. Still make sure you stay productive where you need to be. Resources, time, and opportunity can be put to great advantage – or they can be just as easily wasted. Your social life can get quite cozy; friends can grow more like family. Then again, Mars in Libra can also bring a severing of times or/conflict that pierces the heart or burns a hole in your bank account. Creativity can be a gusher now too, make sure you set aside priority time and you are likely to feel very pleased with yourself. The revitalizing New Moon Sept 28 begins yet another new chapter, one that is full of potential, making it possible for you to fall in love all over again – with yourself, with another, or simply with life.

LEO (July 23 – Aug. 22)

By the second week of the month, your fall schedule is likely to be in full swing. It appears you’ll play as hard as you work, both sides of the scale are stacked. News and conversation travels fast, you’ll have no problem reaching out, sharing, and connecting with plenty of like-minded souls. With Venus, Mercury, and Mars in cahoots, you are likely to be burning the candle at both ends while you keep extra irons in the fire too. Of course, there’s only so much of you to go around, and there will be times when you simply can’t be in two places at once. Note that Mercury retrograde may keep you spinning wheels. When important choices aren’t clear-cut, take it as a sign to watch and wait. If it is a minor decision (like between one fun thing or another), know you probably can’t go wrong with either. When confused about important best picks, aim in the direction of change, newness, and freedom, but make sure its solid enough to provide a comfortable security level too. Still, Mercury retrograde is best for open-ended talks, research, exploring possibilities, and trial runs. If possible, delay decisions, contract signings, and final votes until mid October. The Full Moon could bring disruption, interruption, added expense or effort. Dates to watch: Sept 3, 4, 11 -13, 15, 17 – 21.

VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)

Make allowance in this first week and give yourself time to acclimatize to new routines. Past Sept 5, you’ll start to pick up better speed. In fact, Sept 8 starts a full thrust couple of weeks. Jupiter’s return to direct motion (Sept 7) empowers you - you can and you will, heads-up everyone! Set your mind to doing and you will achieve something substantial to show for yourself. Harmonizing with reduction expert Saturn in Virgo throughout the month, you’ll have a knack for the work smarter, not harder routine. This combination makes you efficient, organized, dedicated, and realistic. While that may sound typical of your sign, your boundaries are now likely to be better placed. (There’s no need to be enslaved, by needs, desires, or approval.) Pluto’s return to direct motion (Sept is yet another giant step forward re the loving yourself more agenda. The Full Moon Sept 15 could bring a time to harvest a window of opportunity; something unexpected could land in your lap/work out to your advantage. Be prepared to jump in lightening-quick when the moment arrives. Watch for a co-worker, teammate, or special friend could factor into the equation. A clean bill of health or some other good news could set you free. (Friends, loved ones, or co-workers could plan a special birthday surprise for you.) Similarly, be careful with risks (such as an office romance) or financial whims as Mercury’s retrograde cycle is often a trickster one. Once Mercury retrograde gets rolling, you can be harder to stay on top of what you need to. You can find yourself (or others) slacking off or dissipating more. Do not be overly casual on the job; you never know who is watching!

LIBRA (Sept.23 – Oct.22)

Faith, it does you great justice. Jupiter’s return to direct motion (Sept 8), along with a steady stream of background support from Saturn now help you to harness a solid sense of self-confidence. You deserve whatever you reach out for, so make sure to design it right and take action on it too. Saturn’s position can offer you more than just inner strength; there may be someone in the background who provides instrumental support. If you need to apply for subsidies, grants, etc. file your claim anytime after Sept 3 and get the paperwork there in good margin prior to Mercury’s retrograde cycle (Sept 24.) Pluto’s return to direct motion (Sept 9) signals it is time to take your ambitions to the next level. There is more out there for you, start looking for it. Mars in Libra (Aug 20 – Oct 3) favors new initiatives. It’s time for a new walk (Mars), a new talk (Mercury) a new look (Venus); experiment all you like and aim to be an attention-getter. The Full Moon Sept 15 could bring a surprise opportunity (perhaps around work, study, or subsidies) or something new to tackle. Mercury retrograde can help you to tap a creative wellspring; it is especially favorable for musicians, actors, composers/writers. This Mercury retrograde influence can also be very romantic, or it can find you driven to championing worthy social causes and actively fund raising. On another note, Mercury and Neptune can make you susceptible to sweet talk or advertising hype. You are also particularly vulnerable to viruses, flues, etc. so make sure to pump up on vitamins.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

You probably have plenty cooking on the backburner (that’s not so unusual for you.) This is your month to keep on the watch and to get a better feel for “the lay of the land”. It’s also a good time to catch-up with yourself, to dote on your lover, and/or to immerse yourself in creative projects. You can afford to take a little extra time over this first week to get your act together, to revamp your resume or repertoire, to relax, to heal, to rethink, or regroup. You’ll feel the energy around you shift as Jupiter (Sept and Pluto (Sept 9) return to direct motion. By the time the second week of the month arrives, you’ll have a sense that the shotgun has just been fired; it’s time to launch initiatives and campaigns, and to groom more solid inroads with supporters, potential clients/employers, etc. Sept 11, 12, things can really start to fly/take off. This energized momentum will continue through the eventful Full Moon, Sept 15; expect to peel back more layers and to have more “ah, ha” moments. The weekend could bring a special celebration, an event to attend, or a getaway opportunity. Sept 17 – 21 can move you past a hurdle or block. (Let spontaneity sweep you away.) Family bonding is both sweet and comforting in the last couple of weeks of the month. In this regard, Mercury retrograde serves as a reminder to count your blessings. Venus enters Scorpio Sept 23; bringing you new resolve and more favored attention too. The New Moon Sept 28 pumps up your charisma and mystique; curiosity about you grows. The New Moon is set to launch an opportunity and (positive) attraction cycle, but of course, you can only go so far during Mercury’s retrograde cycle. You’ll have to acquiesce to the fact that much is beyond your hands or control. Concentrate on working your end to the best of your abilities and let the rest of the chips fall where they may.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22 – Dec. 21)

As Jupiter (Sept and Pluto (Sept 9) return to direct motion, perspective grows, and answers arrive; this fresh momentum is set to catapult you into a much faster forward. In fact, once you decide to get a move on, you could turn a sharp corner. Jupiter and Saturn bring a realistic sense of where you are at and how much work you face; their influence will also point you in the direction of your next best resources. It pays to establish good inroads with parents or those in positions of authority. If you are in their good books, they will be a good tap when/if you need them. Sept 20 – 23, others can be quite pliable. if you need to talk to a bank manager, or petition for a private loan, do it between Sept 6 and 11. Efforts net results, it’s a simple equation when Jupiter and Saturn team up; exercising your parental authority and keep an eye on long term benefits. You could feel the Full Moon build as early as Sept 12. Something or someone could put you on a sudden move. Affecting home, career or social life; there could be a chain of events, or a chain reaction set off. Perhaps you’ll find that new address or job. Then again, the Full Moon could simply bring an enlightening workshop or presentation to attend, a birthday party, or some other special occasion to celebrate. Watch for Mercury retrograde to put you back in touch. There will be plenty of opportunity to reconnect. Mercury retrograde could also find you revisiting a cherished goal that had been previously set aside. Don’t hesitate to take a second look.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

A new chapter begins. Sept 4 onward, Sun, Saturn, and Jupiter can see you gaining important ground. It’s also a time when you gain confirmation, acceptance, or other news. Aim high and make long-range plans, Saturn and Jupiter will benefit you to the end of the year. Still, Venus, Mars, and Mercury in Libra suggest you need to factor in greater flexibility and put more holes in your schedule too. Keep an open door policy and stay watchful for added potentials to become visible as you move along. Life picks up speed in the second week, thanks to Jupiter (Sept and Pluto (Sept 9) returning to direct motion. In fact, Sept 11 – 17 could be jammed packed; watch for a steady stream keep you on the go – and on your toes. Things can open up wider or veer off in a new direction prior to the Full Moon as Uranus oppose the Sun (Sept 11, 12). Sept 18 – 24 can see you progress and puts you at a good plateau. Expect to find even more (choice, options, information), Sept 20, 21; new frontiers can open; important inroads can be made. The combination of Venus, Mars, and Mercury in Libra can put you into a higher professional profile. Appearances count; your popularity can grow. Libra stars can also find you better able to delegate and to equalize responsibilities, or find you taking on more than your share. You may find yourself as the go-to person; others (parents, bosses, partners) can be more dependent on you. Mars, Mercury and Venus can put the focus on borrowing, legal matters, or a significant contract (home, family or business.) It can be time to renegotiate with your company or bank; it could also be time for an official split or merger. While the cost saving could be attractive, legal assistance is the better way to go. The New Moon Sept 28 can signal the start of a new chapter (personal and professional), but there can be delays or more legal hoops to contend with until Mercury retrograde completes (Oct 15.) While Mercury is retrograde, rely on tried and true, call on a mentor and/or repeat a past success. The New Moon extends your good run, and can increase your visibility and popularity even more. Appearances count! Still end of the month cans signal the start of an overall improvement to your current balancing act and time to reapply or try round two. Still, if possible, don’t finalize decisions or opinions while Mercury is retrograde (Sept 24 – Oct 15.)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

While month ahead is set to launch a busy social cycle, overall, Neptune’s relationship with Venus, Mars, and Mercury can put you into an easy-going and relaxed frame of mind. Your popularity can grow; your articulate, flirtatious, and passionate delivery makes you a natural charmer now. Introduce yourself or your products; others tend to be readily accepting. Support and camaraderie comes readily. Rapport with people of all walks is easy to find; new social circles (and support groups) can feel like a natural fit. While education costs can be dear, it is money very well spent, don’t hesitate to sign yourself up. Creative juices appear to be well ignited too. September’s stars can be especially fortuitous for those of you in performing arts, for those seeking public office and/or for gaining more notoriety. Financial, health related, or emotionally charged, Sept 11 – 15 can bring surprising news or sudden opportunity – be prepared to jump in (or out) quick. Sept 18 – 20 takes you over another major hurdle or threshold. (Things will have a way of turning out just fine, so know that excessive worry over finances, lovers, or loved ones does you no good at all.) For some, Venus, Mars, and Mercury can also energize new love, perhaps a long distance love interest. Libra stars also bring opportunity for travel; getaway weekends can be fun and/or relaxing. When Mercury turns retrograde, be careful not to spread yourself too thin; legal issues can be re-ignited; agreements may need to be renegotiated. Promises or potentials can go unfulfilled; differences can widen to the point where you can feel like you are speaking two different languages.

PISCES (Feb. 19 – March 20)

It’s time to cut old behavior patterns or relationships out of the mix. Sept 3, 4 Sun/Saturn can help you to solidify resolve, plans, or they can bring you to a “no turning back now” gateway. If you have had a difficult time moving past the past, you could be surprised at how much distance you’ll cover, especially between Sept 6 and 22. Past Sept 8, Jupiter brings answers and/or a sense that important goals are within better reach. Pluto return to direct motion (Sept 9) says the time is ripe; how high up do you want to position the ceiling and what steps are you willing to take to make it happen? It can be a simple formula, especially when you combine inspiration with can-do realism. Sept 11 through the Full Moon, Sept 15, Uranus is set to break you out of a rut and/or can bring you a newly found sense of freedom. Anything is possible. Whatever is ignited, it could catch fire quick; Venus, Mars, and Mercury teamed in Libra, could ignite a passionate love affair. This Full Moon could also bring a surprising extra to deal with. Be careful when racing around, you could be somewhat accident prone or forgetful when it comes to important details. Sept 20, 21 can bring offers, contract signings, important transitions, official steps, the need to defend your position, or to create a strategic shift. Someone important (a boss, important client, or financial investor) could change their thoughts about you. Mercury retrograde can find money slipping through your fingers more than usual. It’s a good time to plan a get away or to simply bring a take the pressure and coast a little more.

August Overview:

Solar & Lunar Eclipse;

Venus opposition Neptune; Chiron/Nodes/Sun; Asteroids;

August stars set the stage for a much faster forward, thanks to the Total Solar Eclipse, (New Moon) Aug 1 and the Partial Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon), Aug 16.

Solar Eclipse activations are driven by soul consciousness in more attention-getting motion; Leo’s creativity shines much brighter now. With the total Solar Eclipse Aug 1 raising such amplified potential, anything and everything under the sun could catch fire. The Now can deliver an incredibly successful launch point for some. Heart’s desires can be more attainable than seemed possible just a little while ago. We can also expect showcasing, bravado, and confidence-initiatives to hit overdrive. Heightened anxieties can easily compel our objectives and initiatives too.

Eclipses start to build their energy in the month prior to their perfection and are especially potent in the month following. Striking the cords of a key evolutionary chapter, they can continue to hold resonance for several months, 3 to 6 months is common but they can also be influence over a period of years. For those who’s personal planets are ignited, an eclipse can often thrust life onto an alternate course, sometimes surprisingly, sometimes even shockingly so. They are most influential where their path travels. It is interesting to note that the Solar Eclipse is visible in the urban centers of Siberia; musing on a bigger picture view, perhaps climate changes will lead to a significant lifestyle change for the people living there in the years to come. The Solar Eclipse path ends in Mongolia and China; note the Beijing Olympics (Leo correlates to Heros and Olympians) take place from Aug 8 – 24. The Eclipse South Node (and Chiron retrograde) is conjunct the birth chart Pluto for the People’s Republic of China. The world will be watching!

Messenger Mercury’s engagement with the Solar Eclipse suggests a heightened degree of subjectivity is at play. Although the influence of a Solar Eclipse usually tend to be more newsworthy out there on the world’s stage (leaders, rulers, and famous people come under the rulership of the Sun), Clint Eastwood’s famous quote comes to mind: “it’s personal” this time. We can witness important circumstances and stage setting energize in our private lives too, especially when our personal planets are ignited. Key people who enter (or exit) our lives hold the power to completely revolutionize our future course. Déjà vu or not, the activation of the South Node is suggestive of a repeat scenario of significance. Past life dramas or glories are re-ignited. Watch for “it” person of the day to be a charismatic leader and/or performer with iconic sway – i.e.: talker, friend, agent, go-between, lover, teacher, accomplished one, famous one, athlete, advocate, politician, preacher, or competitor. Solar Eclipses often deliver a passage or birth of someone prominent. (Prince William was born on the day of a Solar Eclipse, his Mother, Princess Diana met with her tragic fate on a few days before the Solar Eclipse.)

The highly creative influence of Venus opposing Neptune (perfected on July 31) is also intensified as part of the Solar Eclipse signature. This mesmerizing combination can intensify a sense of romanticism, love, and innocence, or illusion, delusion, projection, and deceit; it can also come down to the blinding lead the blind. When Venus and Neptune play their music, it’s near impossible to stay immune. We find ourselves more open, sympathetic and susceptible.

There are many potential expressions for Venus opposing Neptune: idealism in life or in love, (that soul mate feel); heightened spiritual communion, outpouring, or unfolding. Venus and Neptune combined can bring “easy money” and/or create a financial abundance cycle. Wastefulness, laziness, financial extravagance, or loss is on the flipside. Social pleasures can increase, but note that decadence can command a higher than usual price. Boundary issues can be easily compromised when Neptune is ignited. Casual handling of drugs, medications, alcohol, toxic situations or people can lead to folly, even tragedy. Theft is also falls in the range of increased possibility. Extra safety precautions are wise this month, not only with your passwords and material valuables, but also with your body and health too. Do not let those who are inexperienced go unsupervised, especially when in or around water.

Chiron’s influence on the North Node can suggest humanity’s wounds can be the most prevalent consciousness-raising catalyst we can work with now. We are both bound and limited by our inter-connectedness and blessed by it too. Such critical concerns as global warming, the building energy crisis, the economic downturns, will continue to build intensified momentum. We are likely to witness amazing initiatives taken; humanitarian/philanthropic activity is on an escalating curve now too. Be on the watch for mavericks, champions, and super heroes to emerge (from the humble to the lofty alike) and let us pray that they who lead the many can triumph in steering the course of history toward a glorious new golden age.

Chiron and the Sun in opposition across the nodal axis perfecting on Aug 10 is sure to produce a turning point of great significance. A greatly intensified momentum can become visible as early as Aug 4. Mars and Uranus also “up the ante”, and will intensify all dealings and transactions through to the Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 (and beyond.) Mars and Uranus in opposition (reaching exact aspect on Aug 6) are an abrupt, erupting, and volatile planetary influence; they put the radical, surprising, exciting, shocking, or extreme into motion. Weather volatility is likely to make headlines now too. A missing link/missing piece recovered or striking revelation could crack things wide open. Revolutionizing moments, exceptional circumstances and discoveries can occur not only in our personal lives, but also out there in the world. Jupiter and Venus are in trine during the Lunar eclipse, suggesting what’s good could be very good. Note that Jupiter and Venus can also be an inflation aspect, so know its easy to get carried away or swept up in it all. An overnight sensation can take over, a split second moment could decide a fate, a domino effect can kick into gear – and for that which has already begun, watch for lightening-quick/in the blink of an eye acceleration. Past these key dates, life may never seem the same again!

Asteroid Pallas Athene ingresses into mutable sign of Gemini on Mon, Aug 4, staying in this sign until April 5, 2009; among her many correlations, Asteroid Pallas Athene, the warrior goddess, is a significator for politics/politicians, strategy/strategists, tie-breakers, humanitarian and underdog struggles. Interestingly, Pallas Athene’s retrograde (intensification) period begins Oct 25 and lasts through Jan 14, 2009, encompassing a critical history-making chapter in US politics as voters go to the polls and the newly elected take office. An Afro-American seems to be ever more likely as the front-runner for the US presidency. It would not have happened just a short while ago. This potential is but one indicator of important history in the making. Major change is obviously top-listed on the collective agenda – expect to see more of it.

As August rolls along, we commonly start to bemoan the passing of summer, even though it is still very much in full swing. Venus tenanting Virgo from Aug 5 to 30 can see belt-tightening replacing our recent carefree and extravagant ways. Price drops on summer overstocks are par for the course at this time of year. Not surprising, housing prices will most likely also continue on the (rapid) decline. Financial analysts tout dire predictions for the stock market. Should it happen, don’t expect a turnaround anytime soon.

Retrograde since April 18, relationship asteroid Juno stations direct on Fri, Aug 8. Recent relationship experiences, primarily ones that have been undermining, (that have challenged our boundaries, confronted our personal authority and/or sense of deserving) will now serve like a high-beam light switch for this next part of our journey. The same can be said of the beliefs, knowledge, or answers we have built along the way. Whether inspiring, encouraging, challenging, or limiting, present circumstances are at a peak and will now serve as the necessary catalyst for this next stage of our growth. We can find ourselves now better able to disengage from that which has hindered – perhaps the momentum comes through being forced forward. The Now also delivers a greater opportunity to access relationships and circumstances that help us to shine and to achieve our best. Most importantly, it’s time to locate our missing keys (greater consciousness in action, self-centering, self-consistency, the inner love) and to stop running interference for ourselves.

Mercury tours thinking-ahead Virgo from Aug 10 to 28; the newspapers are sure to bombard us with end of season/back to school ads; we’ll start to mentally, materially, and physically organize ourselves for what’s around the corner – some of us will angst a great deal more too.

As mentioned above, Aug 10, may prove to be a lively ignition point for the Partial Lunar Eclipse, which will occur on Aug 16 (at 2:18 pm PDT.) Venus and Neptune, first intensified by the Solar Eclipse at the start of the month, are re-stimulated by the Lunar Eclipse. We can expect to see a second wave or an augmented ripple effect. Extreme emotionalism (idealism, disillusionment) can be a personal or collective experience. Revelations can create great hope or hysteria; the potential of substantial loss or chaos re economics/money markets can suddenly become the newly revealed reality – and perhaps hit an ultimate extreme.

Lunar Eclipses bring the undercurrents, the unconscious needs, and previously hidden into full view. We can feel surprised, but often what occurs has been brewing for some time. Mars in Virgo forms a stress-point with Pluto at the time of this Eclipse. Each in our own way, we now arrive face to face with a critical intersection signpost. From here on in, the closing evolutionary chapter will rapidly recede from view as the future overtakes us. These are dramatic statements, perhaps, but they are true. When Mars and Pluto team up, we feel the soul’s penmanship laboring away on the script. This Eclipse is one of a Metonic cycle which repeats a key date every nineteen years. Those born on Aug 16/17 may notice major life changing events have occurred at these nineteen year intervals (1989, 1970, 1951, and so on…)

Aug 19, Mars moves into Libra and asteroid Ceres moves into Leo. These sign changes are especially noteworthy as they reference the recent Eclipse intensification of both Sun and Venus. Mars and Venus, the relationship duo, ignite a heightened sense of karmic fated-ness to alliances, partnerships and mergers (romantic, business, political, social.)

The Sun ingresses (moves) into Virgo on Aug 22, joining Venus (heart) and Mercury (head) who have already been doing double-time through the Virgo checklists. Mercury ingresses into Libra on Aug 28, which seems well timed for one last pleasure weekend before back to school/work busy-ness takes over.

ARIES (MARCH 20 – APRIL 19)

Landing in the most significant position of your chart, the Aug 1 Solar Eclipse may announce your golden chariot arrival, especially so if your birthday falls on or around Mar 31. Venus and Neptune can bring you plenty of increased exposure. You can be recognized or singled out in some special way. Someone or something special could claim your attention too! Romance and social pleasures are greatly enhanced; creativity comes vibrantly alive too. Good news for those who have been waiting – the love of your life could show up – if not right now, keep on the watch over the coming months. (Note that the intensified potency of an eclipse continues over an extended length of time.) Leo month powers up your light/your brilliance for all to see. Of course, the stars also convey that it is a critical time for re-centering. After all, if you have not been standing in your creative center then who has been running your show? It’s time to demonstrate who you are and what you can do in no uncertain terms. Reclaim yourself, and stand proud. The stars give you license to fall in love with life and yourself all over again. Children can be another wellspring for you now – it’s an exceptional time for them too, they have their own special paths to follow. You may not feel quite ready for all that the Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 delivers. In fact, the Lunar Eclipse could be life altering. A special event or visitor of note can appear; you could hear exceptional news or be gifted with an amazing invitation, opportunity, or turnaround potential. Don’t know what to expect next? Don’t let it stop you! You’ll fill in blanks/learn as you go. Yes, it is your name on the package, and no, there is no mistake made. Put your all into it, your full commitment is required.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Family bonding and home life grows in importance now. A particular family member (a sibling or a friend that feels like family) can claim added attention; it can be an opportune time to re-establish your (perhaps long lost) special connection (or to make your peace if transition nears.) Perhaps the month will launch with a special gathering to enjoy (family or friends), or news to celebrate. Thinking of starting over again, perhaps entertaining thoughts of moving back home or closer to family? The Solar Eclipse compels you to create more success and satisfaction; work to improve your baselines/your lifestyle, and don’t hesitate to do whatever it takes, even if it seems over the top. The bigger the overhaul, the more effective it will be. Ultimately, your happiness is what counts most. A new career direction (your own business perhaps?) could be very lucrative. Home cosmetic projects are also worthy, they can readily increase your property value or sales potential. If you plan to list your property, get it on the market immediately. If you are a first time buyer, secure borrowing rates sooner rather than later.

GEMINI (May 20 – June 20)

It’s time to max out on the summer’s best and to get your fill of sun and fun. Your personal life and social life take the Solar Eclipse spotlight. Plan more get-togethers and spread the love around. Spontaneity works like a charm too. A summer fling could do wonders for your ego, who knows how long it will last, but enjoy it while the getting is good. If sales are your business, cater to those special clients, they could be your golden ticket. If you need to groom business and are in the market for an agent, hire only the best. You’ll get what you pay for! Those of you in creative or performing fields can experience a burst of popularity with your adoring fans. The Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 can bring an ideal time to get out of town or to attend a special event (a wedding perhaps?) This eclipse can be financially or romantically opportune. You could find things fall into place surprisingly well, beyond your expectations. As stated in the monthly intro, something that has been brewing for sometime could rise to the surface. Even when something disconcerting occurs, it will serve as an air clearing, correction, necessary and positive catalyst.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

How to get the most bang for your buck/out of the here and now; it’s everyone’s dilemma now. The Solar Eclipse shines the grow lamp on your as yet untapped resources. The process of self-discovery, of reclaiming pride, increasing self worth and net worth are your most important agendas now – invest big. It is also important to show yourself in the best light possible. As you do, you’ll discover that you have more going for yourself than you have previously assessed. You are entering a very fertile cycle; entrench yourself completely in your enrichment and betterment programs. Creativity, artistic achievement, athletic excellence – it can unfold for you now as never before. Display your wares, show your true self, be demonstrative. Positive attention will be fed back to you when you do. While you are at it, don’t scrimp on self-pampering and pleasuring, it’s an integral part of the healing process too.

The Solar Eclipse could provide a lucrative financial opportunity, perhaps one you did not expect. It’s a great cycle for starting your own business or for going professional. A new romance could fire up too, if so, you are likely to get deeply involved right from the start. Fertility is greatly enhanced for those wanting to know. Your relationship with children can be entering a special time now too. They deserve your best, now and always. The Lunar Eclipse could bring breakthrough (or breakdown, perhaps sudden) in communications, applications/petitions, work, or health. It can be a time when you can’t help but finally read that writing on the wall; get your health or books in order; stop perpetuating a toxic situation or relationship; stop waiting/relying on the help or advice of others – take the fix-it or find it job upon yourself. (No excuse will do.) On another note, transportation can need servicing, or upgrading. While summer is still in full swing, this Lunar Eclipse can prompt your attention to undertake preparations for the upcoming change of seasons.

LEO (July 23 – Aug. 22)

It’s fresh start time! The Solar Eclipse thrusts you into a dynamic new cycle, perhaps surprisingly so. Those born around Aug 1 are in for an exceptional year ahead, one that demonstrates the shaping hand of destiny. Some of you can feel incredibly gifted by synchronicity. When something or someone overtakes you, you can expect to be completely consumed by it. New love can bring that soul mate feel. On the other hand, things or relationships that are not meant to carry forward can virtually disappear overnight. It some cases, especially re relationships that have suddenly ended, you may feel as though you have just awakened from a thick fog. If you can’t see your new direction yet, know that it will arrive soon enough. The sudden revelations of Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 can catapult you over a key threshold. While you the clean up make take more time, this Eclipse can bring you to a critical financial or relationship cut-off point. Choices can be made for you by outside circumstances/events; options can narrow to a point where there is only one obvious/workable direction forward. Aug 4, 7 – 10, 14 – 17, 22, 23 can be critical action or breakthrough dates to watch.

VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)

This first weekend of the month is a great time to get away from it all and to enjoy leisure time. Yes, you certainly deserve a vacation and/or extra time to heal. Be prepared to jump right into the swing of things once you get back, though, you’ll be thrust right into the thick of it right from the get go. In fact, Aug 3 – 5 can be a somewhat chaotic scramble. Aug 7 – 9 can take you over the hump and/or see things smooth out. The week prior to the Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 can be a time of ripening or stage setting. Keep yourself organized and focused; don’t scatter your energy or waste your time. Instead, be ready to spring into action when you see opportunity strike. One person’s loss or vacancy is another’s great gain; you can suddenly find a new hat to wear or a new place to hang a hook. The Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 signals a cut-off or take-off point of significance. You may see that there is only one direction for you to take. You could receive answers, sudden news, or come to a final decision of great importance. Book your moving truck early and/or give yourself an extra margin of time to get through your month end. Aug 26 to end of the month can also be a time to squeeze in one last summer get- away if you can.

LIBRA (Sept.22 – Oct.22)

Special connections and inroads can fire up quite readily now. The Aug 1st Solar Eclipse suggests it is worth your while to join in or team up, so participate whenever and however you can. Good times are for the taking. Sure, entertainment costs may be up, but you can also find plenty that is free and for the taking. If in the market, your social life could spark a summer fling, (or it could deliver that once in a lifetime love.) You’ll find plenty of occasions to celebrate; of course, you don’t really need a reason to indulge in the summer’s finest. A new lifestyle appears to be in the works, and it is one set to deliver more reward than you have now. The month ahead can be a special time for the special people in your life too. Be happy for their successes; be there for them when/if their well runs dry. Aug 6 can bring an interruption, disruption, or a synchronistic opportunity to work things out to a more successful level. It’s also good time to get away, or to shake things up a little for yourself. Aug 6 to 10, you’ll set a new stage and launch in a new direction, planned or not. The exposing Lunar Eclipse, Aug 16 could bring something (or someone) significant to light. Perhaps you have already had a sense of what was brewing, past this date, you’ll know for sure. Don’t ignore your health or your vehicle’s warning signals. The Lunar Eclipse could also signal a special social or romantic moment, help you to score a great find or a lost item, or help you to make a major personal or professional breakthrough.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

You have a special role to play now, whether it is on behalf of family or within the professional arena. The Solar Eclipse Aug 1 puts an added spotlight on status, achievements, milestones, and goal reaching. If you have put in the time and/or built the right platform for yourself, a rich harvest is likely to come next. VIP’s love you. Reward and recognition could come in the form of a contract or salary increase, special favors, or other material gain, (an investment or real estate success, a legal settlement. New citizenship status, a green card, or the role of new owner, president, authority figure, mentor, elder, or proud parent is also one that provides a defining moment and is of greater significance to you now. Watch for a special event to attend, if not in your honor, then perhaps in recognition for another. On the flipside, if you aren’t getting what you deserve, now is the time to build toward it more assertively. Just starting out or starting over? It couldn’t be a better time to launch-off. The Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 could bring a departure or deviation of significance, perhaps sudden or unexpected. Watch for a sudden end, a significant threshold crossing, or switch of gears re an affiliation, group involvement, friendship, or a much hoped for potential, financial or otherwise. Under new management? It could be a plus for you. Then again, this Lunar Eclipse weekend can simply bring an opportunity to cut loose and get away from it all. A fabulous social event could land on your roster too.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 21 – Dec. 21)

Life, luck, and love can expand beautifully for you now. The Aug 1st Solar Eclipse can bestow a resilient sense upon you of go anywhere, do anything feel. Travel, sun, fun, the enjoyment of nature – summer is yours for the taking. Your popularity is at a peak, so by all means, stand on the stage, grab yourself a gold medal, or dish out the charm on a more select audience. Expanded luck is on your side, amazing opportunity can come your way. Of course, this cycle many simply dish up vacation time and a delightful summer interlude. If so, that’s peachy too. Mercury’s influence on this Solar Eclipse can gift you with added insight and creative ideas. Your intuition is greatly empowered now, so follow those inner messages and watch for news or special messengers to show up too. Athletes and performers are blessed by this Mercury influence; physical coordination and inner biorhythms are likely to be at peak. It’s a flourishing time for creative types, athletes, performers, agents, sellers, educators, and communicators. Publishing, recording, media contracts, and promotional activities appear lucrative too. Aug 2 – 6 can see an arrival or departure of significance. A project, contract or goal could move ahead quite rapidly. Mars and Uranus can spark creative solutions, blocks or restrictions can suddenly lift. Surprises, complications, and detours are also part of the stellar mix. Mars and Uranus could create some havoc with appliance, equipment, economics, transportation, health, but the overall influences are in your favor, so watch for surprising advantages. Aug 10 – 12 can piece it together for you. Aug 14 through the Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 brings a new chapter and a time of significant breakthroughs and thresholds to cross. Launch your products, declare your intentions, expand your horizons or your notoriety, start a new hunt or a new direction, and set yourself free.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21 – Jan. 19)

The Solar Eclipse puts the spotlight on financial matters and intimate relationships. You’ll feel even more motivated to create more abundance for yourself; it can be time to start a new “eggs in one basket” chapter in both these regards. Legacies, wills, inheritances, and heirlooms can consume your attention now. Something like an art or coin collection could be worth a pretty penny. Not all investments do you good though, when needing to make those important decisions about who, what, where, and when, go with your most obvious choices. It’s also a time when you can negotiate a better salary or perks, or become a new business owner. Of course, you could find yourself under new management too. Is it time for a pre-nup? It’s important to establish what’s yours in no uncertain terms. Your significant other, a child, or some other VIP in your life can claim your undivided attention now. You may benefit from their successes, or perhaps you will be influenced by them in some other key way. The Lunar Eclipse on Aug 16 will paint a more obvious direction for your future; events around this time can catapult you over a significant financial and/or relationship threshold. A solution, avenue, or way-out may appear out of the blue/on its own. Something that has perplexed or challenged you for some time can suddenly correct itself. You stand to gain, so by all means, give up to get, make the necessary changes, and watch how fast and how well you can create a turnaround.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

Now is the time for you to be an attention-getter. With the Aug 1 Solar Eclipse falling in your people sector, your popularity is enhanced. Your social life can be a source of great entertainment and pleasure. There may be more than one special occasion, event, or celebration to light up your life. Perks and special privilege can be more easily gained; don’t hesitate to ask for the extras. You can probably get away with a little more than usual now; some will bend their rules just for you. Abundance breeds abundance, the more attention you give, the more it will come back to you too. Of course, this advice applies to business as well as pleasure. The stars provide a lucrative platform for business and creative undertakings. Some people have a special knack for bringing out the best in you and you’ll do the same for them. You’ll notice these special bonds to be greatly intensified, now and in coming weeks. Key people grow more important and/or consume your priority attention. Special people can enter your life now too, ones that can make a dramatic impact on your heart, your lifestyle, or your bank account. If you find that your significant other or business partner is living in their own world and not giving you the attention you deserve, then you need to make yourself or your position more obvious to them. If you decide to pack in your relationship, you are likely to find that the happiness that recently seemed unattainable is suddenly in full bloom again. Living in harmony with yourself is the best anyone could ask for. The folly of the Solar Eclipse is projection, over-confidence, and/or overspending. If you have been blind-sighted, or bought into the hype, the illuminations and revelations of Lunar Eclipse on Aug 16 can be particularly disconcerting. You may not have too much control over situations or yourself. If you have played your cards right, things could open up for you as never before. Watch these threshold dates: Aug 1 -6 14 -17, 22, 23.

PISCES (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Getting healthier is the aim of the Solar Eclipse on Aug 1. This souped-up ambition takes place at all levels of course – healthy body, mind, soul, lifestyle, bank account, etc. If your work or day-to-day is a struggle from start to finish, then it’s high time to mail out resumes, and/or to do deeper soul searching. A better work environment is out there somewhere, start the search now. If you are recuperating from illness (or from childbirth), it’s important to pamper your body to the max. This Solar Eclipse can bring an ideal time to work on body imaging. You can do it alone, but know also that an expert, a mentor, or “guru” could be exceptionally helpful/really do the trick. Self esteem, posture, presentation, wardrobe, grooming details, healthy diet, etc. – do it right and people will stop to watch you glow. Aug 4 – 6 could bring surprise; something or someone could jump out at you. Aug 10 through the Lunar Eclipse Aug 16 can be a time when things really start to brew behind the scenes and out in the open too. It can be a time of finishing off with the past, of finding important answers or solutions, of reconciling your heart or reconciling with material matters. It cannot be stated enough, this is an important threshold crossing time when you can leave the past behind and step more fully forward. Aug 16 – 20 can be a time of important/critical first steps or new beginnings. Expect the unexpected!

Overview:

Mars in Gemini has just completed the retrograde cycle begun mid November last, while Mercury, now traveling through Aquarius, has just embarked upon its three week retrograde stint. Reigning with a weighty-ness that brings a stacked-deck feel to the here and now, Pluto has recently begun to hold court in the sign of Capricorn. Quickening the pace, February also hurls us through the first pair of eclipses for 2008. Whew, it’s off to the races we go!

With our sensory instincts on the high alert probe, Mars and Pluto initiated an expanded awareness cycle in January of 2007, it’s been mushrooming ever since. This is a critical transition for Mars and Pluto; they will not tee up in the Gemini/Sagittarius polarity again for the next couple of centuries. Why is such a striking impetus now animated? When this planetary pair engages by dynamic aspect it is a critical soul dance; personal, social and collective evolutionary needs are greatly intensified. The heat generated between these two planetary energies set key karma into faster motion.

End of September brought the midway plateau of this major transition cycle as Mars made the first of its three opposition aspects with Pluto. This was also the beginning of a six-month sub-cycle chapter of great significance. By the time mid November arrived and Mars went retrograde, situations became more obvious and/or they took a major turn. A key evolutionary ignition point fired at that time. Mars is Gemini suggests a double track or multi-tiered learning cycle; the circumstances that were set in motion have been advancing not only the current growth mandate but have also animated the much deeper levels of the core soul issues in need of reconciliation. The second Mars/Pluto opposition, which occurred January 2, can be viewed as an information synthesis point. Take a moment to review what took place for you at the end of 2007/beginning of 2008. At the same time that shifting realities started to sink in deeper you will recognize that a new internal drive was also arising. Through January, Mars retrograde continued to heat up the undercurrents as a reformed sense of direction begins to build.

Mars is now unleashed from its retrograde cycle, so you can expect to be kept especially busy right from February’s get-go. Note Mercury retrograde will deliver the typical trickster challenges, the usual warnings are in effect. Mercury is retrograde in the sign of Aquarius this time around; make sure you pay extra attention to your computer and other communication devices or technological tools. Also, keep vigilant for mechanical problems and misfire negotiations too. Weather patterns – and people for that matter, can be unpredictable; fabulous opportunities can suddenly appear, but they can also vanish in the blink of an eye too. Positively applied, Mercury retrograde can bring an excellent time for internal or creative exploration.

Eclipses tend to act as an accelerator influence; riding on wind of Aquarius in overdrive, we can expect that we may soon experience a jolt. The Solar Annular Eclipse in Aquarius, Feb 7, marks the beginning of Chinese Year of Rat (a flavor of the charismatic, ambitious, and opportunistic) and occurs just after the US candidate’s super elections day. We are in for an over the top week or two. In fact, we have already witnessed the eclipse activation, i.e. the recent topsy-turvy stock market and the shocking sudden death of a much beloved young actor, Heath Ledger. A Solar Eclipse (new moon) commonly announces the death or birth of a high profile individual.

The Solar Eclipse ignites the group-consciousness air sign of Aquarius. (Mercury’s retrograde cycle does too.) Watch for spotlight attention to be focused on the following: friends, groups, political affiliations, aspirations or involvement; social, public, or political events or controversy; scientific and technological advances; atmospheric conditions, perceived and/or actual (re emotional climates as well as the weather), out of the ordinary social fads; the plus and minus of our interconnectedness.

Note that China’s Pluto is directly opposite the Solar Eclipse, anyone born 1949 (to 1951; fall of 1959 to spring of 1960; Jan/Feb or Nov/Dec of 1978; Aug to Oct of 1979) can feel this eclipse strongly. It is a time of great awakenings (Mother Nature included); of the revolutionizing of consciousness, norms, and lifestyles; of altered realities that can quite likely occur in the blink of an eye. Note that this eclipse also energizes Chiron in Aquarius (keywords: controversial, revolutionary.) The exceptional or extraordinary could be put in your path; note that you can make a huge leap (for yourself and on behalf of others) when you choose the maverick’s path. On an added note: with Mercury retrograde up to tricks, watch for something quite striking to be repeated.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse of Feb 20, 2008 occurs across Virgo/Pisces axis, emphasizing work and health related matters; religious or spiritual issues/needs can call attention too. With Saturn and Pluto engaged by trine, we may stumble upon solutions to that which previously seemed beyond grasp. To be sure, it is a time when much will come to light; when confusion (and Mercury retrograde setbacks) can be cleared up; realism prevails, potentials may be realized. Saturn trine Pluto ignites great resourcefulness; lucrative contract signings are quite possible. If it has not already occurred, perhaps the US writers strike will be resolved around this time.

ARIES (MAR 21 – APR 19)

February is all about making connections; get out there and spread your news. Fresh stimulation is easy to come by, you certainly won’t lack for ideas or conversation. A higher social and professional profile can be quite rewarding, especially when you have something new to strut. You could be asked to step into a presidency or lead role within a club, union, or organization; yes, it’s more responsibility but your contribution could be just what they need. It’s a month of upgrades at all levels, so whether you want to change your appearance, your outlook, your material status, or something more, put ambition to work and watch the good it will do you! Mercury retrograde may bring surprising re-connections or repeats. Lucrative financial opportunity can appear in this first half of the month, even with Mercury in retrograde (resume or renegotiate, try again.) Excitement can build from the start of the month through the Solar Eclipse week; watch for something (or someone) unexpected. On a note of caution, while casual and relaxed can be a preferable way to play it, know that during Mercury retrograde, this approach can also leave you unwittingly vulnerable. Knowing when to let it slide and when to tell it like it is can be tricky. Stay alert, keep it fresh, reserve judgment. Out-of-the-box experimentation serves you well; be willing to explore anything once (keeping safety in mind, of course.) The Solar Eclipse will prompt you (or force you) to make improvements. If there is anything you have missed, it could be revealed at the time of the Lunar Eclipse (on or around Feb 20.) This can be a time to settle an old score or to sign an important contract. Now through June, Pluto in Capricorn can keep you ambitious and will help you to get a better handle on your responsibilities and goals. Aim for greater professional achievement, and/or direct concentrated effort toward making your private life more rewarding. Pluto in Capricorn is an empowering planetary energy for you, take charge anyway you see fit.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Whether you choose it or it happens to you, your life is set for a drastic dismantling or restructuring. For some, new realities can be initially jarring. Even so, you know change spells improvement. It can be a matter of trade-offs, one door closes, another opens. Jupiter and Venus in Capricorn suggest you’ll move through the transition just fine. In fact, Mercury retrograde, Neptune in Aquarius and Mars in Gemini make change easier to both handle and accomplish this month. Mercury retrograde (to Feb 17) can re-ignite issues with a parent, boss, or authority figure. You could suddenly find yourself set free or let go (of a job, relationship or obligation.) Legal or insurance claims, credit ratings or banking matters can need your priority attention. A job, marriage, deal, or friendship could suddenly end. A new relationship can move along very quickly too. (Perhaps you’ll hear yourself saying, “I don’t usually work this fast.”) When tempted to jump in with both feet or to sign your life away; remember to leave yourself an easy out clause while Mercury is retrograde. Better yet, explore your options, negotiate but don’t sign until after Feb. 17 (if you must, you must – sometimes it just works out that way.) The Lunar Eclipse Feb. 20 is especially lucrative; financial or romantic commitments made around this time hold long range/lasting benefit. This Lunar Eclipse is also a wonderful launch-point for your future prosperity: pursue an educational specialty, finish off your degree, become a professional in performing or visual arts; travel/relocate for love or money; or go forth and multiply!

GEMINI (May 21 – June 21)

Are you ready to rock and roll? With Mars in Gemini now out of retrograde, and so nicely fired up, you should feel back on track, and be able to keep yourself better informed too. You can make great progress; in fact, things could come together quite easily for most of this month. It’s all a matter of opening the right doors at the right time; surprisingly perhaps, Mercury retrograde can be helpful in this regard. Want something? Ask for it; if it is no sweat for others to deliver, it’s yours. Looking to reconnect, make amends, or re-enter the job market? As Mercury tours retrograde to Feb 17, you can easily to go back and pickup where you left off. Don’t hesitate to call up friends, previously clients and employers. Life can deliver one thing after another through the Solar Eclipse on Feb. 7. With Neptune and Mars in easy accord, synchronicity and spontaneity can work like a charm. Random acts of kindness go along way too. Someone special could reappear; expect also to run into people you know more often than usual. Tradeshows, public events, conferences, fund raisers, social mixers, show & tell – all are worthy investments. For the most part, you can look forward to a lucrative sales or connect-the-dots month lies ahead. With Mercury retrograde in slide mode, it’s easy to sway people. A word of advice, with such facilitating stars, you can just as easily slack off too. While Mercury is in retrograde (to Feb. 17) it’s important to put more due diligence forward in all areas. The Lunar Eclipse Feb 20 can bring time to file papers or take a test; to re-negotiate a partnership, legal arrangement, or financial matter. On another note, this Eclipse could prompt you to take on a room-mate, a renter, to hire an agent, to sign on as a student or apprentice; or to make a relationship official (to set a wedding date perhaps?); it could lead you to a perfect piece of real estate to buy, or a better place to rent. It can also be the right time to start (home or office) renovations or to launch a home based business.

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)

It’s time to get a better grip over your finances and other priorities, but Mercury retrograde and the Solar Eclipse could make things more complicated. Surprise expenses, repairs, inconsistent pay, and financial/investment wildcards can be disconcerting. An important relationship could take a surprising turn too. On the positive note, you could stumble upon information that can put you a step ahead of the game. Still, use added caution while Mercury is retrograde. You may or may not be drawing the appropriate conclusions or thinking along the right lines. Only time will tell, so keep an open mind, take it in stride, and try not to go into reactionary mode. While the stars are concentrated in the sign of Aquarius, anything could happen, plus and/or minus. It’s best to deal with things one at a time, to make the most of the moment, and not to bank too far ahead. Think in terms of “for now”, and stay alert. A temporary job, agreement, patch-up, or truce could be a good stop-gap. If the Solar Eclipse Feb 7 delivers a jolt, the Lunar Eclipse Feb 20 can help you to sort out the reality check and get grounded again. It can help you to reach an important goal or to make an important decision about your future. This Lunar eclipse can also bring poignant healing or a sense of appropriate timing; perhaps you’ll find yourself at a point where you’ll finally be able to give in, let go, and move on. Work or workable solutions can be more readily found. As the month comes closer to the end, you should have a better definition of your needs and priorities, and feel in better position/more confident to finalize a course of action.

LEO (JULY 22 – AUG 21)

As the stars bunch up in Aquarius, you are sure to find most of your attention is focused on others, (personal and professional.) Relationship drama or politics can take center stage. Then again, the stars could simply set your social or love life into firecracker mode; either way, an exciting couple of weeks are sure to unfold. You could be absolutely mesmerized, impressed, surprised, or shocked; you could become involved with the public a lot more, whether you find yourself in the lead or whether you stand among the crowd. Do your associations define you? Is it to your liking or benefit? A partnership deal could be on the table for discussion. You could also be busied with legal affairs or arrangements, or event planning. Negotiate but try to avoid finalizing things until Mercury is out of retrograde (Feb. 18.) February can be the month to experiment or to do a test market. A specialization can keep you in high demand. Know that quality time put into studies and practice will net a visible and faster payoff. It does not appear that you will run out of creative ideas, things to say, or people to share with. Re finances, work, contractual arrangements and relationship matters, the Lunar Eclipse on Feb 20 could bring finalization and/or goal achievement. Pluto’s advance into Capricorn suggests it’s time to focus on quality over quantity; to polish up ambition and to direct your resources more effectively. This Pluto placement also suggests you should take your health more seriously too.

VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)

The month ahead can help you to make great strides in your work and/or healing. With so many planetary influences in Aquarius (six of them), you are being asked to welcome each day with a fresh perspective and can-do attitude. Experiment all you like, rely on out of the box solutions first, take on a temporary new job or project if you want to/need to. You will not lack for inspiration or for ways to fill your time. While you may have a plan for staying organized, know that when Mercury is in retrograde (through Feb. 17), it can be near impossible to stick to a tight schedule. You can be greatly distracted by temporary projects or asides, interruptions or interrupted service, noise, or people who run interference for you. Your work environment can be especially chaotic over these next few weeks, especially if you serve the public, or are in the aviation, essential services, computer or telecommunications industries. There could be a sudden break in your work too (labor strikes are typical of Mercury retrograde.) Still, Jupiter and Venus in Capricorn help you to manage yourself very well throughout it all. These two planets can pump up your ambition and your self-reliance, and that’s a very good thing. The Solar Eclipse Feb 6 could bring news or information, you could stumble upon something or someone that’s just right for you (re work or health related matters.) Mercury retrograde along with Chiron in Aquarius can deliver plus or minus. A co-worker could need your help, or prove to be a surprising competitor. Your support network could evaporate or synchronicity could deliver surprising help in this regard. Use your instincts when it comes to hiring an agent, you’ll know right away if they are the right one for you. Know that you could suddenly come down with something, guard your health, do not open chain letters or suspect emails, especially Feb 5 – 12. Please also be careful when driving, cutting, or using electrical tools or devices. The Lunar Eclipse Feb 20 could bring a crowning achievement, re personal or health matters, work or work related (perhaps you’ll pass a test or an interview; or do something you feel particularly proud of. It is also an ideal time to start your own business or to go professional. The Lunar Eclipse can deliver a dynamic new relationship or brand new fresh start. If a relationship has been on wobbly legs, the Lunar Eclipse will bring a time to go your separate ways.

LIBRA (Sept.23 – Oct.22)

An exceptional month is about to begin! A new address, a big renovation, an addition to the family, a significant lifestyle change, a professional opportunity or a hot new love affair – perhaps even a lottery win – how exciting! Yes, you could be soaring this month! Synchronicity is doing overtime on your chart; opportunity is worth traveling for. While the usual Mercury retrograde snafus can be evident, for the most part, this Mercury retrograde cycle can be gifting. It can see you repeat a past success or a career high, or put you back in touch with very special or influential people. With so many planetary influences in Aquarius, you could have a life altering experience or déjà vu of great significance. Know that you can call in special favors this month too. This particular Mercury retrograde can help you to tap into your creative genius, so dive into a project and give it your all. You will easily impress everyone around you. Your intuitive abilities are also very well ignited; you’ll be tuning in much more than usual. Expect the first half of the month to be exceptionally busy; Feb. 1 to 14 can keep you amazed/deliver much more than you expected. Children can also take center stage; they could have their own high-highs or low-lows and are sure to keep you racing and guessing. It may be hard to discipline them. Aquarius is an accident prone or sudden move sign, so be on the watch and expect to be surprised. Venus moves into Aquarius Feb. 17 and extends your good luck, especially in affairs of the heart and financial matters. If you have not done so already, know that Pluto’s advance into Capricorn will create a significant change to the very foundations of your life. Family, home, real estate matters or a home based business will undergo a time of critical restructuring (especially for those born near Sept 23.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

You could be feeling exceptionally restless or impatient or conversely, you could feel supercharged by some exciting new prospect or project as February begins. For the most part, you should find yourself on the good roll. In fact, busy could be an understatement. Ambition could send you into absolute overdrive; note that Mercury is in retrograde until Feb. 17. Take it moment to moment, and know that you could be surprised to learn how many layers or stages you have yet to go through. Be prepared to manage with added pressure, chaos, or uncertainty; the best you can do is to be open to anything goes. Mercury retrograde can bring problems with home appliances or electrical matters, or see more flow through of people coming and going (boarders, renters and clients for example. It can be time to revamp your home office or business. If you are hosting an open house or a public event, make sure precious items are protected and that you have your security well covered. Family dynamics or finances can undergo a significant revamp. A new roommate, agent, or financial advisor could be a step in the right direction. Home renovations or sudden uprooting can be in the cards for some. While you might want to race ahead and just get it out of the way, know that things are easier to manage or nail down after Feb 18. In fact, the Lunar Eclipse on Feb 20 could see a goal come to fruition or a significant achievement realized. It may be time to attend an official event or awards ceremony. A contract offer, notoriety or special attention can bring terrific validation.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22 – Dec. 21)

Pluto’s move out of your sign and into Capricorn can put added pressure on you to become even more resourceful than you already are. This Pluto position (in favor to Saturn) is about holding your own, of overcoming shortfalls, and of beating the odds. Finances or investments may need to be fortified or revamped altogether. It can be time to give your professional profile, business, or personal reputation an upgrade too. Watch for the opportunity to fill a niche market, or to make use of something that others have undervalued or missed altogether. While Mercury is in retrograde, your name is sure to pop up even more than it usually does; some will criticize you, others will admire you, and others will look to you for answers and added support. This Mercury retrograde cycle says you should put added effort into re-establishing your authority or reclaiming your parental status. It could also find you even more actively involved in a mentorship or support role; of course if you are the one in need of extra support, reach out; help appears readily available. February stars also is suggest you should make a point of acknowledging other people’s rules, limits, or capacities, and also aim to forge a better relationship with parents, the bank, or those in key or administrational positions. Your attitude toward your work, commitments, and responsibilities appear to be going through a major change. Pluto will help you to develop more continuity, consistency and follow through. Jupiter’s one year tour through Capricorn will help you to stretch your resources/pluses, and your dollars, and to make the most of each moment. The Lunar Eclipse on Feb 20 – 22 can bring you to an important fork in the road decision, an abrupt stop/start, a sudden goodbye and/or hello. Once in motion, things are likely to move forward real fast.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

If you are born around Dec 22, you are sure to be feeling the more obvious effects of Pluto’s advance into Capricorn; a physical overhaul or new environment is just the beginning of so much more. This planetary influence can find you transforming elements of yourself or your life that you may have not even wanted to consider just a short time ago. If you were born later in the sign, you more likely to be in research mode or in an incubation and build-up phase while you try to sort out what comes next. Saturn and Pluto will continue to work harmoniously through June, so know that no matter what your actual birth date is, that you are progressing onto a very solid track. Having said that, Mercury retrograde and the Solar Eclipse on Feb 6 can be financially or emotionally challenging; added expenses, sudden repairs, or other complications and uncertainty may challenge you. The cycle is best used to upgrade skills with a short training program and to better observe the world around you, with added attention focused on those closest to you. It is also a time to become better informed re competition in the marketplace, politics, new medical procedures or techniques, career and financial options. Still, while Mercury is in retrograde (to Feb. 17), it’s best to keep open ended or non committal, to be non judgmental/give benefit of the doubt, and to adopt a wait and see what comes next attitude. The Lunar Eclipse Feb 20 (to 22) can be especially revealing or confirming. You should feel more secure about a course of action or future plan by this time. It is a good influence for promotional activities, for getting the word out and for establishing yourself out there in the world. This eclipse can also bring you to a pinnacle accomplishment, a scholastic high, deliver recognition or an official status, or see a legal matter resolved.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

Birthday month sets you on fire! (Figuratively of course.) Still with Mercury touring retrograde through Feb. 17, it pays to step up on the due diligence. Mars in Gemini ignites a go-getter attitude through Mar 3. In fact, you are likely to find you can zip through most things much quicker than you usually do. Try not to let stress be your fuel, pump up on high potency B vitamins instead. With Chiron in Aquarius activated by the Solar Eclipse, it will become even more apparent how your life path sets you apart from the rest. Now is a special time for you to take the lead, to strike out on your own, and to follow your heart’s calling. You are unique, broadcast it, celebrate it. With so much concentration in Aquarius, you are likely to feel more alive than ever; but if you give in to fretting, you will probably feel more like a live wire. Mercury retrograde can keep you so wrapped up in the moment, it may be near impossible to stay on track with the clock. It is a good idea to keep pen and paper handy and to make notes to yourself. Also, pay extra attention to your health, stay away from coughing people, and make sure your diet provides you with enough fuel to match your high-energy output. The Solar Eclipse Feb 6 could bring something exceptional and/or completely out of the blue. You could find yourself suddenly heading in a direction or dealing with things (or people) you did not expect. Neptune and Mars make for ease, but they can also cause you to be somewhat sloppy, costly oversights or missteps are possible. Positively, your intuition should kick in when you need it, so don’t ignore messages or signals. You could be a master of great timing. On another note, know that you are also likely to have a lowered tolerance level/be more susceptible to alcohol, medications and drugs. An important relationship matter or financial decision is on the table around the time of the Lunar Eclipse Feb 20. This can be the right time to call a less than satisfactory relationship to an end or to jump into a major financial or relationship commitment.

PISCES (Feb. 19 – March 20)

There is a lot going on behind the scenes with you this month. You could be working toward completion on studies or a major goal, or you may be working out the kinks in your head or heart. You may feel the need to pull back from your social life in order to regroup or address personal priorities. Whether you are studying, healing, or creating, it is important not to let yourself get distracted by outside influences. If you are working on something confidential, keep it so. With Mercury retrograde up to tricks, it’s far too easy to let the cat out of the bag. Similarly, this first half of the month is an excellent time to put yourself in observation mode. People can be very revealing when you pose the right question, or simply sit back and watch. On another note, volunteer activities can keep you very busy. For the most part you should feel wonderfully rewarded when you donate your time and attention, but Mercury retrograde can also create added hassles or complications and make you question if it was all worth it. Feb. 1 to 17 is a time to avoid scheduling more than you need to. Try to hold some energy, time or cash in reserve. Both Mercury retrograde and the Solar Eclipse can deliver the unexpected. The Lunar Eclipse (full moon) will occur across the Virgo/Pisces axis; if you are born around Mar 20, you are sure to feel the effects quite strongly. Uranus is also greatly energized; a sudden break-off or end of the road could be rather difficult to handle. Be especially careful when skiing or doing other physical activities. The effects of this eclipse could be felt indirectly; someone close to you could be affected instead of you. Positively, this eclipse could bring an important contract or a goal realization to fruition.

A Look at the Year ahead

By Evolutionary Astrologer,

Rose Marcus

www.rosemarcus.com

Don’t expect to ease into the New Year, expect to be thrust into it right from the get-go! The pressure point of the Mars and Pluto opposition on Jan 2 is sure to set dynamic wheels in motion; intensity shifts to the next level. It seems we may all be on the move at once, especially through this first week of the year.

The major “writing on the wall” cycle begun at the end of September 2007 is now two-thirds along. Mars retrograde, a heating up influence, has just slipped back into Gemini, igniting a more urgent need to be heard and to get cracking. Note that Mars pitted against Pluto (Jan 2) is a very driven and quite often an explosive or violent combination. The event of Bhutto’s resurfacing and assignation has so far followed this key cycle to a tee. There’s more to come, stay alert. Whatever has been stewing and brewing over these past few months will not only surface, it will rapidly escalate once Mars is unleashed; it’s retrograde cycle completes as of Jan 30, just after a showy Full Moon (Jan 22), a momentous first taste of Pluto in Capricorn (entering the sign on Jan 25) and the start of Mercury’s retrograde cycle (Jan 28 – Feb 18.) The very potent Solar Eclipse on Feb 6 can ignite fabulous opportunity for some, or utter chaos for others. Watch for the unexpected, perhaps even the shocking. Keep your eyes on the US candidate’s election Feb 5, which takes place the day before the new moon solar eclipse. It’s a wild card race, but perhaps in the end perhaps the results may not be so surprising. (Chiron and Mercury retrograde involved in this eclipse, suggests there are flaws or “ya, buts” in all the runners of the race.) Feb 6 is also the start of the Chinese Year of the Rat (charismatic, ambitious, and opportunistic.) It’s sure to be an exceptional, over the top week.

The element of earth now replaces fire as the dominant influence for 2008, suggesting it is a key year to build. Whatever has been instigated over this last year (or years) can become more pervasive and prolific. Jupiter, the expansion planet has just left Sagittarius and will now spend the year in the sign of Capricorn. Jupiter in Capricorn looks long range and takes the big picture viewpoint into consideration. This influence brings heightened ambition and prompts increased effectiveness; it addresses appropriate boundaries, control issues, longevity and security needs. Is the time ripe? Jupiter in Capricorn stirs great hope. A matured sense of realism, responsibility and accountability greatly increases the potential for substantial accomplishment.

Pluto, the planet that represents both collective and personal evolution, will dip briefly into Capricorn from the end of January through June and will tenant this sign solidly from the end of November 2008 through 2024, culminating the massive growth cycle begun in 1995. The potentials thus far realized while Pluto toured Sagittarius have turned the world into both an enlarged playing field as well as an encroaching presence in our daily lives. In years to come, Pluto through Capricorn’s era will enforce a time of reckoning with the past, at the personal level and beyond. Occurring only once every 248 years, Pluto in Capricorn ignites astrological flare-signal for an emerging new world order that will see a significant reorganization/restructuring of private life priorities, as well as produce a dramatic shift in the balance of power in the larger world context.

It doesn’t take much looking around to spot the signposts of history in the making are already written. Opportunists can thrive now, but those who build on false or self-serving platforms will not be able to stand for long. (Even so, the results of the rampant or the corrupt can easily create a high price fallout of lasting havoc or destruction. Witness the course of global warming as but one demonstration of this fact.) Capricorn can bring an already shrinking world to its knees, but it can also elevate the responsible visionary to great achievements.

The first three to five months of the year are key stage-setting months and set the compass for the autumn harvest. Mercury’s retrograde cycle (astrology’s “Murphy’s law”) Jan 28 to Feb 17 can bring transition or temporary circumstances and challenges, and serves as an opportune weeding out process. Mars and Pluto will oppose for the third and final time on the New Moon of Mar 6, this time across the Cancer/Capricorn polarities. (Interesting that Bhutto’s young 19 year old son (archetype of Cancer) has stepped forward to continue her leadership and legacy (archetype of Capricorn.) January, mid February through the beginning of May are your best months for full throttle acts of courage, for shaking up the old and outworn status quos, and for breaking new ground.

If you plan to sell or buy real estate, or have any other important contract or undertaking to schedule, avoid mid May to middle of June, and end of September to mid October, when Mercury retrograde will again be up to tricks.

Spring through beginning of fall is best viewed a transitional phase; invent or modify your plans as you go along. The August eclipses set the stage for September’s lucrative stars and bring another fresh start cycle. Solid new relationship or financial plateaus can be reached. For some, October and November can ignite a key now or never, make it or break it time as Saturn in Virgo oppose Uranus in Pisces lift the ceilings or crumble the false security walls. October through February of 2009 brings yet another anything’s possible or anything goes cycle.

ARIES (MARCH 20 – APRIL 19)

2008 says the time is ripe for a big career push. A more responsible or authoritative position appears to be in the works; aim to complete your degree, go professional, or launch your own business. You may have already witnessed recognition and notoriety build, know that you are just at the start of so much more to come. Over this coming year, you’ll become even more forceful and influential. Lucrative contracts could come your way, income increases too, but Saturn’s influence says there’s extra work involved. You won’t see much let-up all year, but Saturn in Virgo will prompt you to become more efficient, thorough and consistent; these essential resources will help you to survive a hefty mortgage or other bank debt. The stars put extra emphasis on daily health regimes too – make sure you take care of yourself as well as you take care of other business. Mid May through July can be a time when you feel quite happy with how things have shaped up. Your love life is set to fair better in 2008 too.

On the personal note, your parental status or responsibilities are also primed for a revamp. The health and requirements of aging parents can be of growing concern too, especially in the latter portion of the year. Jupiter and Pluto enforce the need to put your self in charge and to become more self-regulated too. Regarding your own ambitions or family issues, take control now and set well defined boundaries and limits, don’t wait to see how things play out first. October through February of 2008, will find you surpassing yet another key plateau. Anything can happen, there’s unlimited potential waiting for the taking.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Both Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo are marvelous stabilizing energies for you. Life can run smoother than it has for years. Jupiter in Capricorn spins a more confident attitude re your potentials and future. Educational and travel opportunities are set to expand, your social life is sure to hold more luster too. With Saturn’s added influence in one of the most empowered placements in your chart, it’s a great year to cultivate your artistic/creative ambitions. Perform more; consider going professional. Saturn in Virgo will help you to conquer any insecurities or doubts you may have, and as you realize success after success, it will encourage you to attempt even more. Saturn’s influence also works quite well for you in the romance department. This is a productive planetary placement, suggesting concentrated efforts will help you to make that good thing better yet. For some, this can be a year to make your relationship commitment more official (yes, wedding bells!), or to have children. If you find yourself on your own, you’ll enjoy that too. Still, stay especially alert through the Mercury retrograde cycle, Jan 28 – Feb 17, as things could get crazy or spin out of control. February eclipses could deliver unexpected opportunity or complications (re friends, groups, associations or re income or assets). Watch the building trends and catch the good wave. Schedule your holidays in July and put a marker-point between what was and what is about to be. Aim to make it a fresh start in September. Try to get yourself repositioned and as far ahead as you can in the first two-thirds of this year. October onward, something new (and perhaps unexpected) can dramatically change all.

GEMINI (May 20 – June 20)

Can you feel yourself or your life gaining a second wind? Mars has just re-entered Gemini and now resumes a cycle begun in August and September of 2008. January and February will see things moving along rather fast. You’ll find yourself crossing yet another significant threshold by the beginning of March. Mars in retrograde is a heating up influence, it can also produce a pressure-cooker feel. This first week of January could be delightfully exciting, especially if there’s a plane ticket with your name on it. Then again, the month could start with a very explosive event, a flash opportunity, or a rash action that could significant alter the course of your life. Please use every precaution when traveling, avoid road rage, and do not under-estimate angry or aggressive people, especially from Jan 1 -8. While first of January is the most dynamic, the energy will continue to heat up throughout the month. Mars will complete retrograde Jan 30, but you’ll have Mercury retrograde to contend with, Jan 27 – Feb 17, before you can truly ride the good wind. Those born June 5 – 9 are sure to see incredible doors open and amazing things happen in the month prior to or following the Feb 6 eclipse. Luck and synchronicity runs especially high. It’s an opportune time to relocate, to pursue the career of your dreams or to invent something new, or to adopt, immigrate, divorce (if that’s a desirable direction), or to advance legal matters. Yes, feel free to buy a lottery ticket (instant wins are best), but better yet, take a risk on your future and seize the day! Those born June 14 to 20 are also poised for a vibrant new start too. Jupiter and Saturn support you to make progress re finances, family relationships, and home base. September is a favorable time to change your career focus or status, to retire, to free yourself financially or emotionally, or to move your home or business. You are sure to be busied October through December with a significant change in the family too.

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)

If you have positioned yourself appropriately, last year’s potentials can net a handsome pay off in 2008. Jupiter’s one-year tour through Capricorn will get others to sit up and take notice a lot more than they do now. Lucrative contracts, increased sales and a larger client base are all well within reach. This empowering Jupiter transit is not only beneficial to your professional activities and public reputation; it does you justice re partnership matters and sees you gain an expanded social life too. With Jupiter’s help you’ll gain a greater sense of what it is that you really need from others and you’ll learn how to become more effective in getting these requirements met too. For some, this Jupiter transit can signify marriage, for others, it can be time to put attention towards a second child. While Jupiter in Capricorn can bring happiness and abundance, Pluto’s influence will drill right into the heart and core of matters. If you are heading in the right direction, Pluto will help you to anchor relationships more solidly and will empower you in the process. If your current status quo is not on the right track, Pluto will make it glaringly obvious and will enforce major change. Now until Mid March, you’ll work your way through a momentum build and a personal working-it-out cycle. Mid March to Mid May can position you at the point of giving a relationship or personal goal another go (a second chance at a fresh start), or it will bring you to a start over from scratch point. Those born around June 22 are slated for intense lifestyle overhaul; there’s no sense holding on to a sinking ship. Pluto will help you (or force you) to transform the way you represent yourself at all levels. Be wise about taking things on this year, think twice about increasing your debt load. Don’t bank on the potentials, economic uncertainty lies ahead. Be conservative in your financial estimates as you plan your future and don’t get in over your head with credit, mortgages, or bank loans. Spring and fall are the two key times to make your moves re partnerships, financial investments and your career. Mid September can see things fall into place quite nicely. Don’t expect to plateau for long. Nov to Dec are set to change the score yet again.

LEO (July 23 – Aug. 22)

You may have ducked out of site for a little while, but the Mars-Pluto blast off Jan 2 thrusts you right back into the swing of things. January is a good month to rekindle your inroads with clients, resume plans or projects, and to remind your fans that you still have ample to impress them with. It is also a time to send out more resumes and to explore all new offers, financial or otherwise. The solar eclipse Feb 6 can signal dramatic and unexpected change for those born Aug 8 to 11, and also for those born in the autumn of 1948 through the summer of 1951, and Nov 1989 through Dec of 1990. Note that an eclipse can be especially activated not only on the actual date, but also in the month prior to or following. With Mercury retrograde also activated someone or something special could reappear. Those born Aug 16 – 18 can find luck and synchronicity runs especially high; watch for an exceptional or out-of-the-blue experience. While you’ll have plenty to keep you busy right from the get-go, mid May marks the beginning of a new two-year better your best cycle as Mars enters Leo. Mid June through end of October brings the last golden window to enjoy the Midas touch and easy rewards of Pluto in Sagittarius, (especially so for those born Aug 21-22.) Call attention to yourself and get it off the ground. Simplify your life and streamline your ambitions. Reposition yourself as well as you can, re romance, creative undertakings, children, finances, career so that you will have enough of the good stuff to stretch through the leaner times ahead. Jupiter in Capricorn can bring more business in the door, but with it comes added responsibility. Still, it appears you are ready to apply yourself to the tasks before you; Jupiter and Saturn bring you the great wisdom in knowing the value in the act. Along with Pluto in Capricorn, it appears you will be working much harder for each success, especially so from November onward. More due diligence will need to be directed to your health and a health conscious regime. Pluto in Capricorn can prompt you or force you to restructure the way you do your day, or the way you address your health. As the year continues, your direction will become quite clear and you’ll find a growing need to put more well defined limits on what you can and cannot do.

VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)

You can still be in the throws of transition, or find yourself coping with emotional or financial fallout as 2008 begins. The Mars-Pluto opposition Jan 2 can draw attention to how much time has been lost and how little of it there is to waste now. Try not to let it get to you, take it step at a time. The cycle begun in September of 2007 reaches a culmination point by the beginning of March, when you’ll finally be able to put most of it behind you. Still, your catch-up cycle will continue through spring. In fact, while Jupiter and Saturn well placed in your chart suggests you will gain significant accomplish and move forward very well, you may not fully come into your own until July when Saturn completes it’s retrograde tour. At this time, Mars will advance into Virgo and ignite a new two-year cycle which will prompt you to experiment with a new way of living with yourself and of being in the world too. Jupiter, the abundance planet, will spend the year in Capricorn and occupies the most gifted position of your chart. While Saturn in Virgo (through October of 2009) sets a task before you, Jupiter says you deserve to enjoy rewards too. Re your love life, creative or professional ambitions, or children, you will find much better opportunities lie ahead. Pluto in Capricorn will spend the next dozen years empowering you and helping you to create a life you think of as worthy and satisfying. The lunar eclipse Feb 20 will define the shape of things to come, re romance, finance, children and entrepreneurial ventures. You’ll come to another significant release or turning point, October through February of 2009. This can be a make it or break it time for relationships, career or financial aspirations.

LIBRA (Sept.23 – Oct.22)

So much is blossoming for you now. Start of the year can find you well occupied with travel, relocation, business expansion, promotional activities studies, and legal undertakings. In laws, long distance relatives, and weddings or event planning can also consume a great deal of attention. Harness that newly found confidence, determination and can-do attitude; it will serve you especially well through March. Even though you are getting back to it (studies, work, a move back home) it can seem all fresh and new. You are in an opportune growth cycle and are sure to be very aware of a sense of right timing. Jupiter in Capricorn finds you with a growing desire to play it safe, to settle down and to develop a life that will offer greater security and continuity over the longer haul. If a more secure future without the guesswork or uncertainty is what you feel you need, take matters into your own hands now. Downsize or take the plunge with real estate (relocate for a reduced mortgage or quality of life), move in together or plan the wedding, undertake self employment, or get serious about a significant savings or retirement plan. Mid February through September is the time to make your moves. In fact, although your new life is already underway, September can feel like you have just arrived at the start of it all. While you have planted yourself firmly on new ground, know there will be an ongoing need to experiment, modify, revamp, renovate or upgrade; watch for new considerations, work opportunities, or necessary add-ons, Oct through December.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

These past few years have been a big push and you have probably been able to accomplish great feats, both professionally and personally. The year ahead suggests it’s time to stop aiming for more and to take whatever you have already established, especially in terms of new friendships and business liaisons, and solidify it further. You now need to concentrate efforts toward developing more continuity and reputation. Keep visible and stay in circulation. Public speaking or performing, teaching, or published works are avenues by which you can solidify your reputation. Business and pleasure can merge quite nicely too; don’t hesitate to invite a client to lunch and let them get to know you better. Consider teaming with friend or group of friends on a business venture or financial investment. The solar eclipse Feb 6 could uproot you or suddenly take you on an unexpected detour (sudden added expenses are quite possible.) Also watch for a financial, social, or romantic window of opportunity around the lunar eclipse Feb 20. Children also command your priority attention; they could display extraordinary talents or perhaps they will start a new life. It’s quite possible they could need financial support. By fall, you will be ready to reinvent your wheel all over again. Love, creativity, the meaning of success will reach a new plateau October onward (your relationship to children will too.) As the year advances, you can look forward to a complete new lifestyle, one that is more in keeping with the new person you have become.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22 – Dec. 21)

Mars and Pluto could start the year with a relationship drama, travel, an opportunity to perform, or some other circumstance that puts you on a sudden move. The full moon Jan 22 could be opportune, be ready to spring into action. Still, don’t bank solely on the potential, with Mercury soon to turn retrograde (Jan 28 – Feb 17), you have a strong propensity for seeing what you want to see rather than what is. Saturn’s continuing tour through of Virgo will bring you more work and responsibility, and increases the need to prove yourself to the powers that be. Jupiter’s one-year tour of Capricorn bodes well for financial security and helps you to gain more personal control over your usually extravagant ways. While you thrive on fresh adventure, the stars also find you more interested in dropping anchor and developing more continuity. If you are ready to step forward into a major relationship commitment or financial investment, wait until the Mercury retrograde cycle completes as of Feb. 17. The solar eclipse Feb 6 can bring people to you; benefit comes through a community, a circle of friends or a sibling. Watch for an event of great note to have an indirect affect on you. The lunar eclipse Feb 20 brings exceptional opportunity, as do the two eclipses in August. In fact, mid August could be a good time to plan a wedding, or to invest in your future with some other concrete step (publish, perform, buy a piece of property or a business, or start family.) October through December the stars can put home life and professional life in a state of flux. You could find yourself on the move or find yourself busied with new considerations, projects and goals. While your stars seem to fair okay, note that October through December (and beyond) is likely to bring an unstable economic climate.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

January can see you busied with after the holidays catch up and year end matters. It’s also a time to resume your diet or exercise program, yoga classes or other good for you routines. While you may decide to give your job or relationship another chance, at the same time you are likely to be gearing up to launch your life in a whole new direction. If life comes at you, rather than it being one of choice, know that you are your best fall back support. Saturn and Jupiter will keep you ambitious and confident, and help you to make wise choices. You are going to move from one sure thing to another, so by all means chase your dream. When it’s the right thing, know that there is virtually no risk involved. If you have any hesitation about moving yourself forward, you can rely on February’s eclipses to accelerate matters and to thrust you to where you need to go. Having said that, you should proceed with extra caution especially in financial matters Jan 28 to Feb 17 when Mercury is retrograde. When Pluto enters Capricorn your environment or physical appearance can undergo a significant overhaul, (watch Jan 25 – June 13; Nov 26 and beyond.) Pluto can cause challenging health issues to rise to the surface too, but with such great stellar protection, you are likely to readily find the right healers and treatments at the moment you need them the most. The lunar eclipse Aug 16 can be fortuitous for financial matters and affairs of the heart (an exciting new love could make a sudden appearance.) Mid March through mid May, August through December are full to the brim, opportunity months. Seize the day!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 – Feb. 19)

Thanks to its retrograde tour, you are getting a double dose of Mars lighting the good fire in your love, happiness, and success sector. Mars has kept your options and opportunities exceptionally energized since August of last year and will continue to do so through March. You will now get back into the swing of things now with renewed vitality. January’s stars help you to retrace steps that have worked well for you in times past. Your creativity continues at an all time high, business, romantic, and fertility prospects are greatly enhanced now too. You’ll also find the ability to get through to your kids better now too. February’s eclipses are sure to make your life even more exciting and on the go. The changes you make this year are sweeping ones; and it appears you’ll embrace them with gusto. It’s an exceptional time for those born Feb 5 – 8, 14, you’ll be amazed (for the most part, delightfully so.) Both August eclipses bring you to striking new thresholds re relationships and finances; they are harbingers of dramatic lifestyle changes. Saturn and Jupiter offer background support and help you to take the necessary steps to correct, fine-tune or heal. Even if you don’t have much time, money, or patience to spare, you’ll find you’ll be able to cover your bases just fine. Jupiter and Saturn are helpful re good councilors, advisors or medical support, and also re government subsidies or bank loans. If you need to apply for assistance, do so now through mid Jan, mid Feb through mid Mar, or wait until mid Aug to Sept. Still, it’s important to work on relinquishing the burdensome, so be careful not to get yourself into massive debt and while you are at it, don’t let yourself be plowed under by relationships either. Oct-Nov brings you to significant end of the road; it will be time to untie yourself from a less than satisfactory romantic or business partnership or arrangement.

PISCES (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Saturn and Mars are presently helping you to narrow down your selection process to who and what is most worthy of your time and attention. The month of January sees your efforts directed toward getting on with it or getting something new off the ground, whether it is a business venture/proposal, a key relationship, a home move/renovation, or a change in a family dynamic. Jan 2 can take you out of a stalemate and/or launch a big push re all the above. February’s first eclipse (Feb 6) can keep you out of sight; you’ll most likely be swamped and are too busy to come up for air. You are likely to have something very exciting cooking on the backburner. Place yourself on alert for synchronicity and pay attention to your gut instincts and inspired flashes. The lunar eclipse Feb 20 can be professional lucrative, especially for those born Feb 19 – 21. Sign a contract or mortgage, start a new business or job, or undertake some other personal pledge. Mid March through June brings a successful, attention-getting timeframe. Romance and professional dealings are likely to go quite well. Your children can make you feel proud and happy too. August through end of the year can necessitate changing the format re your work or health programs. You’ll be challenged to revamp the whole system, upgrade technology, skills, or tools, or you can find yourself working toward an altogether new direction. Major thresholds re social, romantic and business partnerships can be surpassed October through February 2009.

November Overview:

Life is about to be altered, drastically so for some. At this critical juncture, it is our alertness and conscious response to the here and now that is so imperative. While destiny’s intensified tour de force is undeniable, free will is always our gift for the choosing. We so easily squander it through tunnel vision, apathy, or resistance to facing inevitable truths. Canada has just made federal election history by recording it’s lowest ever voter turnout. I hope and I pray that the US public will not recreate such a tragic loss of opportunity.

November 4 is a key date, not only because it is the US election date, but also because it is the first of four meetings of planets Saturn and Uranus by opposition. Together they serve to accelerate significant social restructuring cycle. Spanning the next two years, no stone will be left unturned. Note the following intensification dates for this Saturn/Uranus cycle: Nov 4, 2008, Feb. 5, Sept 15, April 27, 2010 in Virgo/Pisces; July 27, 2010 in Libra/Aries.

There are three key points to make regarding this planetary pairing. Firstly, the liabilities of the past are the key determinants that now shape our chiseled-down future. Note as examples the current economic crisis and the impact of global warming on our everyday existence. Secondly, while the past may hold the key to our future, the stark reality is that there is no possibility of turning back now. We cannot lean back nor can we fall back, the previous support post can no longer carry the weight. Lastly, for those who need change but don’t know where to look for it, fear not, it will find you.

Each step forward irrevocably defines the difference between possibility and reality. November 1 and 2 can bring clarity and time for action or risk taking. Along with the Saturn/Uranus opposition, Mercury advances into Scorpio at 7:52 am PST Nov 4 suggesting political change is imminent for the US people. This emotionally day could become quite volatile, not only on Wall Street, but also (more dangerously) on Main Street. With Mars in Scorpio squaring Neptune in Aquarius, the unexpected can be exposed, and when it is, we can feel betrayed (personally, collectively.) (This is a smoke & mirrors or wolf in sheep’s clothing influence. We can be duped into seeing what we want to see.) The potential of extreme emotionalism, volatility, havoc, criminal activity, violence, rioting (or even terrorist activity) is possible. The Full moon November 12 may reveal more than we have anticipated. Mars and Neptune is an aspect of significant loss. can be productive for making dramatic turnarounds and/or for gaining more solid ground.

Pluto’s 14-year tour of Sagittarius ends on Nov 26. This is a major astrological milestone, as we will not see Pluto in Sagittarius again in our lifetime (in fact it will not return to this sign for another 248 years.) Pluto in Capricorn will spend the next 18 years shaping the new status quos. For many, the road ahead is not easy, but eventually it will lead to significant, lasting, and much needed reform.

Key dates: Nov 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 11 – 13, 14, 15, 23 – 26, 28, 29

ARIES (MARCH 20 – APRIL 19)

Things are about to get a lot busier. Saturn and Uranus are set to break you out of a rut. Your everyday reality will undergo a radical transformation. You could change the type of work you do or the way you do it. This planetary pairing can bring the opportunity to specialize or stand out in your field. Education upgrades will place you at an advantage. Mars in Scorpio (to Nov 16) puts added focus on financial improvement and relationship empowerment. Investigate all avenues and options; intensify the money chase, rearranging finances, revamp agreements. Intimate relationships can sizzle while Mars tours Scorpio, and can be a source of great joy while Mars tours Sagittarius (Nov 17 through Dec 26.) Conversely, Mars in Scorpio can empower you to set yourself free, once and for all. Lucrative potentials and optimism abounds as Venus leaves Sagittarius on the full moon Nov 12, while Mars enters Sagittarius from Nov 17 through Dec 26. Both these planetary energies expand your professional notoriety, travels (body, mind, or soul) and potentials re money and love. Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn can bring a time of ripening. You could feel challenged to prove your authority in no uncertain terms. Relationships with bosses, parents or other VIPS can be radically altered. Those born around March 20 will get the full effects of Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn now. November 1, 2 are great put-it-together days. The lucrative full moon Nov 12 could solidify financial or romantic matters. Nov 1, 2, 10, 15, 29 and 30 are fruitful dates for just about any undertaking.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Partnerships or cooperative ventures can make a surprising turnaround thanks to Mars and Uranus in harmony at month’s start. Then again, if it’s time to go your separate ways, the parting should be easier to do now than at other times. Some things can be out of your control, of course, but don’t let financial expenditures escalate too far out of hand. Your social network is set to expand in ways you didn’t expect. Jupiter and Saturn are in harmony throughout the month; so much can fall into place with very little effort or strain. Beyond a great social event, the opportune Full moon in Scorpio Nov 12 could bring groundbreaking news or open an important door. Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn is empowering. It can provide opportunity to legitimize yourself through education, or through professional advance. For some, Pluto in Capricorn can bring marriage, or prompt relocation. To be sure, a better quality of life is possible, reach out for it.

GEMINI (May 20 – June 20)

Don’t just think about it, do it! The Saturn/Uranus opposition cycle can take you out of a professional or home life stalemate. Is there something you have always wanted to try but have held back on? Now is the time to risk a completely new career, industriousness will net a payoff of significance. Relocate for better opportunity; a stimulating new life can be waiting for you too. This Saturn/Uranus transit is particularly intense for those born around June 9, give or take a couple of days. Government regulations, accreditation, licensing, or other legal issues could also occupy priority attention. So too, you could find yourself busied or challenged by changing relationships with family members. Make sure your status (professional, personal, financial inheritance) is legally secure, or that you can get out of contracts or arrangements should the unexpected occur. Does your insurance cover everything it should? It could be wise to get disability insurance for the added security. Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn can start you on a recovery cycle of great significance. This can be an exceptionally positive influence for those wanting to quit addictions or other self-sabotaging ways. If you are born around June 21, you will probably feel great relief as Pluto leaves Sagittarius. For all Gemini’s, Pluto’s advance into Capricorn puts the spotlight on material and emotional security. This planetary advance will force you to establish better boundaries, anchors, self-autonomy, and self-reliance. While you may initially feel buckled under, Pluto in Capricorn is set to teach you how to build better control in your life. Self-employment could be more viable for you now. The full moon Nov 16 can bring information, revelation, confirmation, or gift you with a time to set the record straight.

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)

Synchronicity conspires on your behalf this month, thanks to the Saturn/Uranus “fresh juice” opposition. Link up, team up; for the most part, your people connections are very good. Tradeshows advertising campaigns and other sales ventures can be lucrative. Call in a favor or ask around when you need something. You never know where a simple inquiry or curiosity can lead. The full moon Nov 12 can be especially inspiring, entertaining, lucrative, or fortuitous. Mars in Scorpio and Venus in Capricorn now intensify the magnetic vibration around you, suggesting you can enjoy an abundant attraction cycle. (People could “hit” on you.) A new passion or romantic interest is likely to strike a deep cord right from the get-go. The Saturn/Uranus opposition could also put you on a sudden move. You could make a significant personal discovery or receive information that can alter everything – perhaps in a flash. Sun and Mars in Scorpio are empowering, Nov 1, 2, 10 – 15. As the month advances, the days will get even fuller. Pluto’s advance into Capricorn will be felt quite dramatically for those born around June 22. A significant relationship, partnership, or income stream could end or begin. Face the fact, you can’t turn back the clock. The new moon Nov 27 bodes well for the job search. It can also busy you with studies, a new health chapter, or some other cherished goal. Put your all into it, nothing less will do.

LEO (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Scorpio month is always a time to review and revamp. Are you where you want to be? If not, what changes do you need to make in order to firm things up for yourself? Family, real estate investments or home-related matters can seem like a bottomless pit in terms of investment or concern, but there’s really no better place to concentrate your efforts. If you have recently taken a financial hit, this month’s stars seem to provide the opportunity to recoup perhaps even quicker than you thought was possible. Downsizing – or even walking away – can be the smart way to go. Of course, the Saturn/Uranus opposition can also be disconcerting for some, especially if you are resistant to facing facts. The past can catch up with you now. A relationship that breaks up during this transit may not have fit the bill for some time. Overall, the current transits can help you to walk away from what you need to with broader understanding and grace. Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn can be humbling; you may come to realize you aren’t infallible, but you will also come to realize that you can – and will – build it better next time. You’ll learn patience while Pluto in Capricorn helps you to reclaim your resilience. This influence can fine you with much greater dedication and determination -perhaps you’ll find you have no other choice. You’ll learn to harness your resources or your position in more practical and result generating ways.

VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)

Someone new could make a sudden entrance into your life. Some event that could be life altering could also happen now. With Saturn/Uranus so featured, it can be important to put extra safeguards in place (physical, material, and emotional.) Stay alert and be ready to reinvent yourself at a moment’s notice. This transit could be fabulous or disconcerting. Relationships are about to be radically transformed. You could benefit through association; it pays to align with people in the know. Hopefully, you will find connections to be fortuitous, but there’s also the possibility of feeling used when hidden agendas are revealed. (By the way, McCain’s Sun is in Virgo. No matter if he wins the race or not, Sarah Palin has definitely sky rocketed to fame.) The full moon Nov 12 can be quite healing, productive or fortuitous, especially for those born around Aug 22 and Sept 11. Watch for a notification or piece of news, an invitation, a contract, a special meeting, or gift to come your way. Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn highlights one of the best areas of your chart. Children, romance, entrepreneurial or professional success can transform you in profound ways. For those who have been sitting on the fence, it’s time to take that very important step forward. An end of the month change of residence or business move can be in the cards for some. The month may end, but your new life is just getting started!

LIBRA (Sept.23 – Oct.22)

Saturn and Uranus will clue you in to much more than you could have possibly anticipated. A particular friendship or perhaps a sibling relationship could feature more prominently now. Someone could enter or exit your life, perhaps suddenly. An important client or income stream could suddenly appear or disappear too. If you get the chance to study with a teacher or coach of note, don’t hesitate to dive in deep. The offshoots could be quite significant. Then again, perhaps you’ll step up to the plate as teacher yourself. Stop talking about writing and start doing it. Sacrifice can be called for re work, health or cherished goals, but if you could see ahead, you’d know that the prize is definitely worth it. Spirituality could also be another area that grows substantially for you. Nov 1, 2, shoot high, think big, and jump in with both feet. Financial gain is possible, although in some cases it may be a matter of spending it to earn it first. Nov 4 could also set you free, perhaps unexpectedly. If you are cut loose, know that there’s better opportunity on the horizon. A child or lover could surprise you too. Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn (Nov 26) is especially significant/life altering if you are born around Sept 23. Pluto in Capricorn can force you to become more self-reliant. It can bring major transitions, challenge, ambitions, limitations or the reaching of limits re any of the following: family dynamics, aging family members, children coming of age, real estate investments, home repairs or renovations, relocation, home based business ventures. See your challenges as an opportunity and don’t waste a moment, create the necessary improvements.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

In the mood to throw off everything and reinvent yourself? Freedom is essential now. You’ll crave new stimulus too – and you won’t have to go looking for it. A dynamic new life path is opening for you now and for the most part, it can feel exhilarating. Potentials exist as never before. Nov 1, 2, 8 – 11 can be particularly opportune, even lucky. Mars ends its tour of Scorpio on Nov 16, but Mars in Sagittarius will continue to keep you on a high charge through Dec 27. Conversely, Mars in Scorpio can also make you more wary of others, and more alert to hidden agendas. The long range/bigger picture view of the Saturn/Uranus cycle will force you to reinvent parts of your life that you have taken for granted or assumed were better on track than they now prove to be. While planetary energies can bring ease and opportunity, it pays to work your advantages to the max. Put extra thought and effort into keeping your clients coming back for more. Reinvent your social life while you are at it too. The illuminating full moon Nov 12 will help you to know better where you stand. Watch for important connections/a social event of note, substantial money negotiations or transactions, plans to be solidified, or a threshold crossing re partnerships. Projects, investments, intentions, relationships, holiday plans, sales, etc., the new moon Nov 27 bring the time to get it rolling.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22 – Dec. 21)

Changes are coming down the pipe. The month ahead is likely to keep you hopping with one thing after another; you won’t have time to complain of boredom! The Saturn/Uranus cycle will force you to reinvent both your inner and your outer realities. This planetary influence is especially life altering for those born around Dec 10. Home is likely to be an especially busy place, necessary costs such as repairs, renovations, or a move can eat away at your savings. So too, tuition costs or other support of family members can add up substantially too. Don’t question it, know that everything you invest in your career or family will generate excellent returns. Watch for insights or revelations, Nov 1, 2. Pluto’s advance into Capricorn (especially influential for those born around Dec. 21) brings both a time of stage setting and of ripening, professional and personal. From here on in, aim to gain greater stability and control over your survival issues. It’s time to build a more solid platform on which to stand (re financial, material, emotional, or health), and to create durable structures and foundations. A better quality lifestyle awaits. Mars in Sagittarius Nov 16 launches a vibrant revitalization cycle. It can be “take off” time for some.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Whether it’s the school of life or more formal studies, it seems you are on an accelerated learning program now. Good thing you are a quick study, Saturn/Uranus thrust you into real life with a zesty twist. You don’t have to go searching; the universe has conspired to provide synchronicity for the harnessing. All you have to do is show up for yourself and take what’s filtering your way. Studies can be a turn on. Take specialty courses; sign up for personal interest or for career advancement. Intellectual and social are of primary importance now. Saturn/Uranus also brings a trial period that lead to somewhere significant. Get at those writing projects, etc. The full moon Nov 12 could bring unexpected advantage; perhaps you can fill another’s shoes or scoop a choice vacancy. Then again something lucrative or fun could come your way. Or you could scoop a used car or piece of equipment, or some other bargain. (Watch the fares or tickets sales, and try your luck with contests on the radio, etc.) Pluto’s sign change will be revolutionizing for all Capricorns, but is especially dynamic for those born around Dec. 22. Pluto in Capricorn can create a dramatic reformulation re present circumstances and key relationships. Health could become a priority to address. Revamp your appearance; the change will do you good.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

The Saturn/Uranus opposition can rock your finances and your intimate relationship sector. You can feel that you have lost control in both of these important areas. When things come to a head, see it as opportunity, address and correct it. Despite challenges, it appears that you are making important breakthroughs too. In fact, Jupiter’s influence (currently in Capricorn) can help you to access added background support or provide you with a saving grace. This influence suggests something is in the budding stage, whether it’s a new relationship, career path, creative project, or a new foundation of internal security and confidence. Scorpio transits, (namely Mars, Sun, and Mercury) can help you to make important turnarounds, especially around the full moon on Nov 12. Watch for Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn to eventually supply added background support. Pluto in Capricorn will help you (or force you) to strengthen your spiritual foundations, to give structure to your creativity, or to turn a cherished dream into an actual reality. In warning, don’t cripple yourself with addiction or other self-sabotaging ways. Seize/create opportunity, Nov 1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 15, 23 – 26, 29.

PISCES (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Nov 1, 2 could bring good news or an opportunity to show off what you can do. Luck and synchronicity runs high. Someone influential could inspire you. Month start places you at an advantage, so by all means, take action. Saturn and Uranus can help you to make important legal or professional breakthroughs. Now is the time to set yourself free from relationships, jobs, or circumstances that aren’t delivering the goods. Look around, there is plenty more out there for you. Be willing to take a risk on change. Make yourself better known, revamp your appearance, and try new things. Once an important ball starts to roll, it’s likely to roll very fast – and there’s no time to waste. Good thing Uranus will keep your energy high. Try not to fuel up on anxiety, go with the flow instead. You will probably be happy to see heavyweight Pluto leave Sagittarius as it has been a lengthy and grueling cycle for you. Pluto in Capricorn will help you to find the stability and control you have been searching for. It will also help you to stabilize your finances. It’s a time when you can groom customer loyalty and when you’ll learn who your friends and supporters truly are. Pluto in Capricorn can help you to feel more confident and on track as you step forward into a more secure future. The full moon Nov 12 can see things fall into place quite beautifully.

The Audacity of Hope –

A Trump Card for the Collective

Nov 1, 2008

When Chiron activates a natal chart, key destiny unfolds. Chiron’s balsamic conjunction to Obama’s Aquarius Ascendant seems to peg him as the Chosen One. The transit of the South Node on Obama’s Sun is indicative of a significant relive and fruition cycle. Evolutionary astrologers believe that we repeat our past life circumstances in order to evolve our unfinished business, so it is not a stretch to consider that Obama is likely a reincarnation of a prominent figure of US political history and that he has run for the US high office in order to resume his unfinished work from a previous lifetime.

The world looks on with interest and expectation at this US political candidate, sensing that Obama will be a key spokesman for a collective standing now at a precarious crossroad. Obama’s early and present life circumstances, political platform, and intention for governing his country embody the concept of emancipation, which is in keeping with where the collective is headed. On the other hand, McCain’s life experience and political platform, symbolically references the glorification of the victim. While his war hero status is admirable, it says nothing about where he might lead the country. The glorification of sacrifice, restraint, and indebtedness perpetuating submission is in keeping with the old and distorted paradigms (of the Age of Pisces – suffering and penance as the primary vehicle for growth and evolution.) That we now exist at a time of major restructuring of reality and a collective crossroad is blatantly obvious. The audacity of hope harnessed for the greater good is exactly what is needed in order to build the best bridge between our fast receding past and our fast encroaching future.

~~~
Note that November 4 is a hot stellar date. It is the first of 5 alignments of Saturn and Uranus by opposition. I’m sure many of you have been feeling the intensity building in the past few weeks. As I have written in my November forecast overview, Saturn and Uranus indicate a reality shift of great significance. You may have already caught wind of the change launching in your personal life. The stars now thrust all of us through an acceleration cycle. Uranus can be exciting, but it is also an extreme and often shocking planetary influence. When Saturn/Uranus oppose, it can feel like a rug has suddenly been pulled. More positively, a surprising opportunity could appear.
In addition to the Nov 4 Saturn/Uranus opposition (we have not seen this transit since the mid sixties) Mars in Scorpio forms a tension aspect to Neptune in Aquarius. This can be an unleashing or “didn’t see it coming” influence. While the world’s attention focuses on the US, we may witness other noteworthy events occurring, at home or in other parts of the world. This Mars/Neptune aspect can see a rise in suspicion, mistrust, and violations of various sorts. It is certain that who-ever takes office will be thrust into the deep end of the pool right off the bat. We may see an extreme reaction to the US election results, plus or minus. Hopefully election results will cause the stock market indexes to jump. Still, it must be said that there can be an intensification of hysteria, crime, or acts of terrorism. Power outages and weather extremes are possible too. Please keep alert and think safety first.
On the positive note, right behind the intensity of challenging stars, exists a window of opportunity cycle. Mars and Neptune are a dissolving influence, but they can also be unexpectedly gifting. Don’t look back at what’s been lost, it is simply wasted energy. Seize the day, move yourself forward, and let yourself be amazed.
August Forecast Intro:
August begins with a new phase between Mars (action, assertion, will) and Saturn (manifestation, authority, responsibility, control). Both have newly entered Libra, the sign of the swinging scales. This planetary duo underscores the fact that the time of putting it off to another day is no longer among the list of options. The new game plan is long overdue; the time for definitive action is now.
Saturn has recently advanced out of Virgo and will now tenant the sign of Libra for the next 2 ½ years. Saturn is exalted in Libra, which means that it works well through this refinement sign. (By the way, this is one of the planetary influences I wrote about in my new book, have you bought your copy yet? Thank you, thank you!) Saturn is determined to create a bettered equilibrium, but in order to do so, it may need to corral, stall, or to pull a full stop re that which is presently in full swing. Mars tenants Libra through Sept 14. “Me first” Mars is in its detriment in Libra, the sign of “we before me”. In other words, Mars is not comfortable here, and must bring more consciousness to the table in order before successful navigation is possible. Before we can reconcile with the lack of balance in our outer lives, we must enhance our capacities of listening and responding. Before we can ask for anything from anyone else, we must take responsibility for our share of the bargain. Once we make the necessary shift from outer referencing to inner referencing- in other words once the concentration shifts away from what we can or can’t get out of others and turns to what we can do/create for ourselves independently – what we can give or draw from ourselves – we will see a circumstance shift that will allow for the appropriate balance to be regained.
Aug 3 is a particularly energized day thanks to a cardinal t-square activation produced by Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto. Jupiter squares Pluto three times – July 24, Aug 3, and finally Feb 25, 2011. This profound and trans-formative aspect is one of influentially rerouting the course of our future. With Mars (also Saturn and Uranus) as part of the mix, this is sure to be a spurred to action day. Whether it is a breakthrough or a break apart, watch for a definitive corner to be turned re partnerships, collaborations, agreements, contracts, or legal matters. Hostile or vengeful forces can be unleashed, so we could see more fighting or protests occur. Watch for political, social, or economic activation too. Financial analysts are predicting another stock market crash, this and the new moon activation on Aug 9 are two key dates that could serve as major pushed over the edge catalysts.
Aug 9 delivers a super new moon (high tide) in Leo. This new moon signals a launch-point of great significance. A super moon is a high tide influence; in the sign of Leo, we may be in for high drama. The new moon’s Venus transit is particularly powerful – translating the light from Saturn to Jupiter to Pluto. (Among her many correlations, Venus corresponds to finances and survival issues.) Uranus retrogrades back into Pisces a few days later (Aug 13), awakening or animating that which previously escaped our field of vision/consciousness. Positively, Uranus’s revisit of Pisces can also signal a time when liberating potentials are (re-)awakened. From this super new moon to their exact opposition on Aug 16, Jupiter retrograde continues to push Saturn to readdress that which can no longer sit in the marginal or just barely acceptable box. Jupiter will aim its arrows right into the heart and center of reasonings and rules that have outgrown their purpose and usefulness. It can be an especially testing week for private lives, industries, and institutions alike.
Aug 20, Venus and Mars begin a new relationship chapter. Just over one hour later, Mercury begins its retrograde cycle (Aug 20 – Sept 12.) This new cycle will turn a corner in October and yet again in May of 2011. Venus and Mars activate a critical social and economic shaping period. Personal and intimate relationship activations also take on a greatly heightened destiny feel. The fact that Mercury turns retrograde as this cycle begins suggests that there are specifics that must be addressed.
Mercury’s retrograde cycle (Aug 20 – Sept 12) occurs in the sign of Virgo, one of its two home signs. The usual snafus are to be expected. (Mercury retrograde in Virgo can ignite problems in the following areas: work, health, staffing, employee or co-worker relationships, pet’s health/care, schedule conflicts, faulty repair work or craftsmanship, equipment, vehicle, transportation, communication breakdowns, misreading the paperwork or instructions, misplacing items, misdiagnosis, etc. It can be a good time to upgrade skills or education. Note that the nagging little stuff can get to you as much as big stuff does. Still, if you put extra care to all that you do, you will side step most of the annoyances. In fact, if you work at it, you could make good stride.
New Moon: August 8: 17:25 Leo (8:08pm)
Full Moon: Aug 24: 1:26 Pisces (10:05 am
Aug 7: Venus ingress into Libra: 8:48 pm
Aug 9: 11:30 am Ceres stations direct (20:41 Sagittarius)
Aug 13: Uranus retrograde (backs into) Pisces: 8:31pm
Aug 20: Mercury stations retrograde: 12:59 pm (stations direct: Sept 12: 4:09 pm)
Aug 22: Sun enters Virgo: 10:27 pm
Dates to watch: Aug 3, 8, 9, 13, 16 –26
ARIES (March 21- April 19)
Mars, Saturn, and Venus ignite a new manifesting chapter for you now. Social and professional relationships are particularly featured If you have done your leg work right, you can be entering a reward cycle of increased status, recognition, and achievement. A new romantic chapter can start soon too. Whether you cement the deal or go separate ways, Aug 3 can deliver a cut-off or turning point of significance. The harvest new moon in Leo Aug 9 could deliver an opportunity, a stroke of luck or good timing, a bonus, or more freedom. You could be singled out in some special way. Of course, the start of a vacation can be ideal too. Uranus backs out of Aries Aug 13, but it will continue to stir potential for you throughout its tour of Pisces (to Mar 11, 2011.) In fact, there is much more brewing than you can see now but you can’t push it any faster than it is already going. It will unfold as it should over the months to come. Mercury’s retrograde cycle (Aug 20 – Sept 12) brings the necessity to readdress your unfinished business, re personal, health, or work. If you have fallen off your exercise, diet, or other good for you regimes, Mercury’s retrograde cycle can take you back to task. It can also extend the problematic, so stay alert, don’t ignore warning signals or inklings, and be patient with the process, the delays, the uncertainty, etc. You can easily misread the signals, try to stay real, don’t over-project. The full moon Aug 24 could bring something previously unseen to your attention. It may necessitate an adjustment, produce an unexpected complication, dissipate your focus, confuse you, etc. Know your limits, stay attentive to potential wrong turns and do your best to avoid them before they enlarge in scope.
TAURUS (April 20 -May 20)
One way or another, the month ahead can put you back to work. If you have been doing yourself justice so far, Saturn’s advance out of Virgo and into Libra is set to take you to the next productive step. On the other hand, if you have been slacking off, Saturn in Libra (and the rest of the stellar gang) will force to you address it NOW. Whether prompted by need, by indignation, or driven by sheer will, the Mars/Saturn new cycle fires-up your ambition and determination. It is the absolute right time to put your full force into new health regimes or the job search, to get yourself better organized or educated. Relationship or financial sorting-out may be priorities you should have already addressed, but don’t waste your time looking back, get on with the program now. No matter how you find yourself occupied, Mercury retrograde is set to deliver a helpful/productive correction cycle. In fact, if you are on the job hunt, Mercury’s retrograde cycle could pull a rabbit out of the hat for you. The return of Uranus to Pisces can re-ignite your social life, or re-stimulate a previously waylaid goal or relationship. Volunteer involvement or community service may spark you too. By all means, sign up, get involved. It is a time when one thing can quickly lead to another better thing. Synchronicity is greatly fired up; stay game and try it all on for size. The new moon Aug 9, can increase your self confidence and start a positive growth cycle, especially re home, real estate, entrepreneurial ambitions, and family related matters. This could be a good date to entertain or visit with family. The opportune and empowering full moon Aug 24 could open a surprise door.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
Saturn’s advance out of Virgo and into Libra provides not only welcome relief from the constant barrage, but also a gain of new ground re ambitions, passions and romance too. You should find that you can get a much better handle on yourself and your present course. The Mars/Saturn new phase cycle should pump you full of added confidence and productive initiative; it should keep your new agenda going particularly strong through January of next year. Venus and Mars launch a new relationship chapter, starting with the most important relationship of all – that of you to you. Now to the beginning of Oct (and perhaps extending to Jan) can be like a phase one of a cycle that keep you occupied/on the go through the end of May, 2011. Venus and Mars can launch a professional or personal popularity growth spurt too. (Now and November are peak months.) Seek new goals, broadcast your achievements, or sell your wares, you should find plenty of support out there. Uranus’ dip back into Pisces (through Mar, 2011) can open more professional doors. It can also help you to unload some of the extra burden (or weight) that you have carried. Of course, downsizing and simplification is a right course of action for us all. The new moon Aug 9 puts the spotlight on friends or siblings, educational or marketing pursuits. While you can enjoy stellar favour now, know Mercury retrograde can put you on a temporary backtrack. Still, by Sept 12 when we get the all’s clear whistle, you should feel you have navigated the trickster cycle just fine. Aug 3 could deliver news or a breakthrough point. It can also be a good time for a getaway or a time out. Stay flexible or non committal on the full moon on Aug 24, and let the chips fall where they may.
CANCER (June 22-July 22)
Your life has just entered a significant ripening and solidifying stage. The foundation or momentum you set now is likely to hold for some time to come. A new level of financial or family security can be in the works for some, added responsibilities or belt tightening are also to be expected. For the most part, partnership matters (personal or business) can be bettered now too. Saturn in Libra puts an added spot light on equality, fair share, and fair shake. Either you see it in the works, or you will feel confronted by the lack of it. You may find yourself stuck and picking-up the slack when someone else can’t or won’t. Whether you are just starting out or you are in the throws of downsizing, this new cycle suggests it can be the right time to invest in real estate or in a new business (a family business perhaps.) On the other hand, you can feel driven to create more independence from the family unit, or to create more outlets to unleash and unwind (what a good idea.) Aug 3 can be a day to define your needs, deliver an ultimatum, throw your weight around, put your needs first, etc. This and Aug 9 can be dates of major steps/undertakings, agendas, decisions, plans, or purchases. Then again, perhaps they simply deliver the opportunity to get away from the usual hamster wheel and to enjoy it your way for a change. Venus and Mars in new phase (starting Aug 20) can launch greater accord within you and re your significant relationships too. As is typical of Mercury retrograde, expect to surprise reconnections. Too, you could revisit a problem, dilemma, or a piece of unfinished business; a key person or sibling may factor into this equation. Issues re transportation, equipment, communications, schedules, education, health, outstanding debts or favours owed can be of added concern also. Make sure to take care of business sooner rather than later and you’ll circumvent a bigger to-do. The full moon Aug 24 can bring opportunity to clear the air, to straighten things out, or to simply enjoy a getaway.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Start of the month can be a time to start fresh or to take a departure from your usual. Aug 3 can be a back to work day, but it’s also key day for travel, recreation, socializing, or for letting yourself off the hook. Watch for opportunity to present itself and grab it while you can. Should intuition spark, follow it. Saturn’s advance into Libra can put a more serious spin on some relationships, be they friends, associates, colleagues, neighbours, or siblings. Someone you have known for awhile may have a business proposition for you. So long as you stay realistic about the ins and outs, pros and cons, it can be worthy. A professional partnership can be a good investment so long as you are both on the same page and the contributions match. Once Venus and Mars enter their new phase, you should find creative ideas and projects can solidify better than they could just a little while before. You should find you are better able to organize your thoughts and to articulate your needs or ideas more succinctly. The more Saturn moves along, the more consistent you’ll get. A publishing project or some such other ambition could prove to be a two or three year assignment. In fact, while you may need to safeguard for the long term, (economic recovery is expected to be slow), it is wise not to project or plan too far ahead as things can change drastically by the time you reach your intended destination. Saturn could also deliver an opportunity to mentor or to enlist a mentor. If you are volunteer minded, consider becoming a big brother or sister. Mercury retrograde (Aug 20 – Sept 12) can catch you vulnerable, financially short, or cause you to rethink or regret earlier steps taken. Be especially cautious with your time, money, and resources, keep your aces guarded, don’t drink and drive, and don’t divulge prematurely. Also, put extra attention to your health and keep your vehicle, machinery, or equipment in good running order too. The full moon Aug 24 could see the need to let go, concede, or unload. Too, you could end up on the short end of the stick, or find yourself with more than you wanted to take on. If you are aware of these dates ahead of time, you can circumvent most of the potential problems.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Saturn, Mars and Venus in Libra can find you settling into a new groove. Even so, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto mean to keep shaking things up, so don’t get too comfortable and always look to make the best of the bird in hand. If you feel your options or opportunities have narrowed, look again. At any moment, anything could change. Aug 3 can be a turn the corner date. The opportune new moon Aug 9 suggests you have plenty of hidden resources or potential as yet untapped. You may not realize all your assets, but know that others see you better than you see yourself. In fact, you may have secret admirers. Mid August through mid March, Uranus in Pisces will continue to help you evolve the new and improved you. You will find your important relationships find their natural watermark too. Mercury retrogrades in Virgo this time, so make sure you put extra attention toward health matters and good for you regimes. You can backtrack, second guess yourself, or worry more than usual. Silly little mistakes and annoying headaches are also common during this cycle. When you find yourself short on patience, make sure to practice your breathing. Drive carefully and employ extra due diligence in all activities throughout the cycle. If you have any suspicions, let the mechanic, serviceperson, or doc have a look/see. The full moon Aug 24 puts you in strong position, so watch for the advantage or ball to be in your court. This full moon is especially advantageous/empowering for those born Aug 23 -25.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It seems to be the time to get serious about a lot of things. Saturn’s advance into Libra is accompanied by both Mars (July 29 – Sept 14) and Venus (Aug 6 – Sept 8). These ripening planets can raise ambition and commitment so if you need to quit smoking or some other vice, now is the time to do it. Set reasonable intentions, stay goal driven. Saturn will help you to establish better boundaries and regimes. You should find you have more stamina than you usually do. If one of your ambitions is to be taken more seriously, state yourself and watch how well we listen. The new moon Aug 9 launches a cycle of social opportunity and/or can see you make a special connection with someone who is significant to you. This can be a playful new moon, so by all means put enjoyments and personal pleasures to the top of the list. Uranus’s return to Pisces (Aug 13- Mar 2011can make you restless again, especially if you already dissatisfied and feel you have outgrown your job or present circumstances. It may be a matter of biding more time for a number of reasons. Mercury retrograde is in an out-of-sight position, so know that there can be more brewing than is obvious. Your health can be more vulnerable, so make sure to pump up your immune system and get proper rest. This Mercury retrograde cycle offers a perfect time to hide out for awhile in order to work on a personal goal, a creative project, to heal, to consider options, to regroup, relax, save, or to sort out a nagging issue.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
A new agenda (or perhaps several) appears to be in the works. Whatever is in development now appears to involve both a short range and a long term objective. It is wise to reveal only the bare essentials/minimums at any given point. A new professional alliance or romantic relationship could be in a budding stage too. Take your time. As is par for the course, there are stages to get through and layers to unfold. Aug 3 can produce a sudden pick-up of momentum. Insights come, more is revealed; things can start to open up or pour forth. The new moon Aug 9 can put you into a higher profile professional cycle (perhaps you’ll take on an important or executive role) or bring you added personal attention. An important contract or legal matter could be in the works, it can set the stage for some time to come. This is also a time when you may gain special attention or the favour of someone of importance to you. Uranus in Pisces (Aug 13 – Mar 11, 2011) can extend an ease of opportunity and good flow cycle, especially if you are born around Nov 21. As is typical, watch for Mercury retrograde to put you back in touch with people you know. Group involvements or some relationships or project could get tricky, you may have to put more effort into it, or you feel the involvement is more headache than it is worth. Mercury retrograde also delivers a good time to refine fix, heal. Brush up on studies, keep writing, increase your knowledge base, upgrade your computer, your website, your marketing, etc.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Mars, Venus, and Saturn in Libra now usher you onto a new phase of life. You may be focused on a specific priority, project, or relationship. Whatever (or whomever) manifests in this next stage is key and essential to your present evolution. Now through the beginning of 2011 takes you through a critically defining time of concentrated development. No matter how slow and laborious it seems to you, in the bigger picture perspective, it is an acceleration chapter. In actuality, some of you are racing toward a karmic completion threshold. For all, this key chapter is one that is meant to liberate you from any circumstance, relationship, or mindset that no longer serves. Whether you are off to a vacation, are inspired or spurred in some other way, the new moon Aug 9 can put you in the groove and on the move. Uranus’ backtrack into Pisces (Aug 13 – Mar 11, 2011) will be felt more strongly by those born Dec 20/21. This transitional influence can force you to relinquish even more. While you continue to make progress, you will have to accept that there is a great deal of uncertainty before you. Trust that the divine plan is in motion and that it is getting you to where you need to be. Mercury’s retrograde tour can make you acutely aware of the forces beyond your control. You can be dissatisfied and frustrated with your job, your options, your limitations, lack of choice, or lack of acknowledgment. This cycle is meant to show you what isn’t working so that you can correct or eliminate before you go any further. The full moon, Aug 24, can make you aware of something you did not notice previously. Positively, a contract can come to fruition. It can be an empowering step forward time, especially for those born Nov 22 -24.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Saturn’s advance into Libra, along with this month’s new cycle initiations of Mars and Venus in Libra launch an important restructuring chapter for your sign. The stars are of particularly high impact/critically defining to those of you born Dec 22 -25, (and are especially so on the following dates: Aug 1 -4, Aug 8-10, Aug 15 – 18.) For those of you working toward professional goals, these planetary influences peg you at an arrival moment of particular significance. For all, material and personal life goals are also at a pinnacle turning point. Contracts (actual and karmic too) can be in the works, they are ones that will set the parameters of your life, both for the short term, (six months, next couple of years) and for long term. In fact, the now can set a determining baseline that will guide rest of your life. If that last statement sounds overstated or overly dramatic, well, it is simply the reality of the times we are now are living. The new moon Aug 9 draws attention to health, wealth, and just rewards. It can launch an opportunity cycle, follow your heart. It can be time to claim your rightful dues (yes, you deserve more), or to strike out on your own in some significant way. A major purchase or a major initiative (personal or professional) can be in the works, children or creative endeavours can be factor prominently too. Mercury retrograde in Virgo can help you (or force you) to refine, correct, repair, revisit, redo, pickup where you left off, fill in missing blanks, busy you with unfinished business, loose ends, etc. If you can, take a break from your usual. Aim to do less, spend less; camp out in the country or on your deck; revisit places and faces. Whether the connection is pleasurable or concerning, Mercury retrograde in Virgo can add a spotlight on siblings, in-laws or extended family, especially those who live a distance away. The full moon Aug 24 can bring news, an important meeting, or discussion, an event, or put you at an advantage. Your actions can be particularly well timed, don’t hold back. The return of Uranus to Pisces (Aug 13 – Mar 11, 2011) helps you to entertain possibilities that may have been difficult for you to consider earlier. You should find you can progressively let go/unburden yourself, and are able to embrace or move through this demanding time of transition with more patience, acceptance, and grace.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Saturn’s tour through Virgo may have put a squeeze on your finances or put you through a challenging relationship (includes the non-existent), or health chapter, but there is good news now. Saturn’s advance into Libra should provide you with welcome relief re the aforementioned. Perhaps you have chosen to disentangle yourself, or perhaps circumstances have forced your hand, either way, you should find yourself off to the races now – or shortly. Mars (July 29 – Sept 14) and Venus (Aug 6 – Sept in Libra are also set to deliver more lucrative potentials your way. Keep exploring, expand your search. Better social, material, educational, vocational and romantic opportunity can open for you now. In fact, you are likely to make important breakthroughs, especially in this first half of the month. The new moon Aug 9 cycle could deliver a contract, a social opportunity, a momentous occasion, or it can put the spotlight on someone of significance. Uranus’ backtrack into Pisces (Aug 13 – Mar 11, 2011) can call for more resourcefulness or more biding time. Mercury’s retrograde cycle (Aug 20 – Sept 12) could take you through a losing ground cycle and/or challenge you with more than you may feel ready to face. Emotional fallouts and financial expenses could take their toll, health issues could rear too. Added complications can arise re accounting, debts, taxes, inheritances, paperwork, relationship expectations, etc. Tests taken, plans or agreements put in place during this time may need to be redone. To circumvent the brunt of Mercury retrograde snafus, pay close attention to everything and do not make light or dismiss a thing.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
Saturn in Virgo has taken you through a critical purging cycle; some of you have faced incredible uphill battles. In the coming weeks and months, the new cycles of Mars/Saturn, Venus/Saturn and Mars/Venus can help you to establish a better financial and emotional equilibrium for yourself. Health matters can also be on the upward curve. Of course, when slow grind Saturn is in action, patience with the process is always required. Note that the stars are at such an intensified reprogramming stage, you can consider the present as a soul reboot time. Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto, and Uranus revisiting Pisces are in overdrive to help you to move past the past once and for all, and to catapult you into a bright new life chapter. The new moon Aug 9 can launch a more rewarding work or health cycle. Still, stay alert for the undermining influence of Mercury retrograde in Virgo (Aug 20 – Sept 11). The usual derailing, inconvenience, added expenses and complications are to be expected. Try not to project too much importance onto the little things. Pick and choose your battles. The full moon in Pisces Aug 24 (especially potent for those born Feb 19/20) could see you regain ground in some significant way.
Yesterday’s new moon solar eclipse in Cancer pens a new nineteen year chapter for the collective, and for personal lives too. Around the time of a solar eclipse, we can see significant world events occur, and transitions or passages of someone of prominence. All eclipses are karmic catalysts, (especially so when they directly reference your chart.)
On a positive note, something from the past can gain new life. Something that may have been incubating (perhaps for a length of time) can animate now too. Of course this time of new beginnings also pertains to closures, completions and endings of significance. The past (our past) comes full circle now, but there is no time left for backtracks, back-peddling, or for ignoring the obvious. If you have felt a level of anxiety building within you, then you are tapping into this powerful eclipse. Your anxiety may be specific to your personal challenges, but if it is free floating or hard to pinpoint, know you are responding to the collective buzz. Yes, the hour is urgent, not only for the Gulf of Mexico, but each and everyone.
It is of utmost priority not to bury heads in the sand, but to apply what has been gathered through experience, to understand the misguided-ness of compensatory measures and attachment-to-outcome fears, to release the habitual responses that in reality never did work, and to aim to build it forward from here with greater consciousness. Less short-sighted self-serving and a more encompassing perspective will seed the future rather than destroy it. No matter how circumstances or consciousness unfolds, ultimately this is a time has come moment for all of us.
**Special Announcement**
Speaking of a time has come moment, I am thrilled to announce the publication of my first book! Insights into Evolutionary Astrology, published by Llewellyn Worldwide, is now available for pre-order through Amazon. Buy it now and get it for a great discount price!
Seven others have joined me on this collaboration project. The first chapter is written by Jeffrey Wolf Green, the founder of Evolutionary Astrology. This book is well worth purchasing just to read his discourse on the nature of the soul. You can view a few pages of his chapter on Amazon’s website, along with my introduction that describes each of the chapters.
Pluto’s Transit through Capricorn
Whether or not you are a student of astrology, I assure you that you will find each one of these chapters to be an utterly fascinating read. My own chapter covers the psychology of the archetype of Capricorn, the contemporary transit of Pluto in Capricorn (the transit responsible for the altering of every corner of our existing reality), and a brief discussion the cardinal geodetic regions of the world that will be especially affected by the stars in coming years.
I am greatly honoured that you continue to support my work by reading and sharing my monthly forecasts. Your support for this book means a great deal to me. Thank you, thank you!
Blessings
