Canada Day weekend keeps Vancouver’s International Jazz Festival and more in full swing. Happy Birthday Canada, Happy Birthday USA, both days will end with good fireworks.
Between the two holidays, comes the July 3 full moon in Capricorn. For Canadians, it’s back to the grind, for US working folk it’s a finish-line. For those confronted by and/or suffering through an added dose of reality, this full moon is one of no time to waste and of steam-rolling ahead. The full moon’s re-stimulation of Uranus/Pluto keeps push-come-to-shove on the fast track. This full moon can be one of heavy pressure and sudden release, a breaking-point followed by a significant breakthrough. Turkey & Syria, the continuing EU economic struggle, weather extremes, the aftermath of the Elliot Lake mall collapse, RIM, etc. – what’s next?
Prior to the full moon on July 3, Mars advances into Libra. As it does, it opens a dialogue with Ceres in Gemini. It is a suggestion of improved lines of cooperation, or at least it suggests a greater need for such. Ceres in Gemini – seeding of ideas; Mars in Libra – the desire for more harmony and peace, the fight for peace and justice is on. I’ll talk more of Mars in Libra in a moment.
We have just come to the end of six weeks of Venus retrograde, five months of Saturn retrograde, and eight months of Mars in Virgo, three of which Mars spent in retrograde motion too. (Mars retrograde was in effect from the end of January through mid April.) Venus retrograde, the planet that correlates to resources, relationships, finances, and survival needs, has taken us through an intensified reassessment chapter. Saturn retrograde has challenged accountability, authority, the system and its rules. Mars in Virgo, by direct and retrograde motion, has targeted that which has been in dire need of fixing. Yes, we have been amply tested. As these cycles have neared completion, a BC woman suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease challenged the constitution and won the right for doctor assisted suicide. Just as Venus ended retrograde, the US Supreme Court upheld the heart of Obama’s heath care overhaul. There’s certainly more work to be done on these fronts and more, but they are suggestive that important tides are finally starting to turn.
For the past 8 months, Mars has been steering through a Virgo initiative. This stripping-it- away transit has exposed where the most damaging flaws, weak spots, disorganization and disintegration lies. In so doing, it has been working to pin-point to where the repair and healing is most needed
As stated earlier, a few hours before the full moon, Mars advances into Libra, a Venus ruled sign. Through August 23, Mars pushes for reconciliation and a bettered equilibrium. Libra is the archetype of partnership and alliances. While Mars is in Libra, the EU and the United Nations will likely be forced to invest more, to create/accelerate a more united front. The transit is also suggestive of a stronger push to put more economic and humanitarian fire-walls in place. Through mid month, Eris, the goddess of discord, is in opposition to Saturn. Inconsistent application, effectiveness and results continue to challenge all.
Use the first two weeks of July to move it as far ahead as you can while there is the opportunity to do so. Uranus begins retrograde On July 13, and Mercury in Leo begins retrograde on July 14. Keep an eye on these dates for interruption, disruption and havoc. Watch for the sudden and unexpected, stay flexible with plans and time-tables and be ready to switch it up or jump into it as the moment dictates. Ceres in dynamic aspect (square) to Chiron on July 15 can resurrect or re-fester something and/or the aspect can also advance a poignant healing. July 13 to 15 is an ideal weekend to take a break, to disconnect or unplug, to seek fresh stimulus, entertainment, or inspiration. On the other hand, should circumstances turn the tables on you, do you best to go with the moment and look to the week ahead to fast track you to where you need to go. The new moon in Cancer on July 18 could see you make a positive breakthrough.
July 17, 18 are particularly hot wired as both Mars and the transiting moon re-stimulate the ongoing Uranus/Pluto transit. (If you didn’t see my last mailer, please check-out my website for Uranus/Pluto, An Awakening Force.) Although a new moon is usually a quieter influence, July 18 is likely to pack an added punch. The new moon occurs in Cancer, so you can expect emotions to be more fired-up than usual, especially when aroused by issues pertaining to safety, security, family, home, domestic, and economics
Mars in opposition to Uranus on the new moon of July 18 can be a break-through, bust- through, provoking, or liberating influence. It is also an eruptive, disruptive, impulsive, volatile and accident influence. Please take extra safety precautions, especially with young ones and water safety. Like the full moon on July 3, this new moon can act as a trigger for money markets, political conflicts, and weather extremes.
July 14 to Aug 7, Mercury retrograde in the sign of Leo puts the spotlight onto something or someone of particular significance. It also brings self-interests, personal pleasures, and self pampering to the foreground. One way or another, you will be made aware of more than is obvious to you now. You can be illuminated in striking or unexpected ways. What’s best for you? Who’s best for you? Sorting it out can only do you good in the long run.
Mercury in Leo retrograde also expands creative ingenuity. It is a cycle when you can and should make the best of the moment.
Excitement for the London Summer Olympics (July 27 to Aug 12), should ramp up as the sun enters Leo on June 22. Although Mercury is still in retrograde, the end of the month is an okay time to move forward on decisions, commitments and plans.
Mercury reaches the peak of its retrograde cycle on July 27. On July 30, the sun in trine Uranus brings fresh insight and opens a window or a door. The moment is infused. The short term or short range is a stepping stone or set up for the long term.
July 31, Venus completes an information gathering transit and crystallizing aspect with Saturn that began when Venus turned retrograde mid May. Venus/Saturn brings contract matters, both actual and karmic, to solidification platform, or a secure-it stage. It can be a destiny-shaping time for some. The Olympics should deliver the gold, especially July 30 to Aug 2.
“Do you believe” – the Olympic motto is a call not a question and it stretches well beyond the games. |Do you believe in the amazing potential of the human spirit?” Now more than any other time on the planet, it is imperative that that we voice a resounding “YES.”

It’s a question of who’s vying for control and how feasible their demands are as the July 3 full moon in Capricorn gets under your skin. Personal needs can conflict with the demands of career or family. Positively, this full moon can increase your professional profile and reputation. You can become more ambitious and driven, perhaps even obsessed, as you press forward on an objective, goal, or timeline. The result is that you are likely to accomplish more than the usual. After eight months of putting you to work on one thing after another, Mars advances into Libra on July 3. There’s a new level to the balancing act to acclimatize to through Aug 23. On a pleasant note, Mars in Libra can fire up your social life and new interests. It can also stimulate a new romantic interest or business prospect. Someone who is already in your life may claim more of your priority attention also. For an existing relationship, this Mars placement can force you to look for better ways to share or partner-up. Mars in Libra may also bring legal matters to the foreground.
July 13 to 15, be ready for anything goes. Uranus turns retrograde on July 13 and Mercury does the same on July 14. This weekend can pump up extra excitement or drama. Mercury retrograde in Leo shines the light on likes and loves. You may hear yourself say “I deserve more” – and you do. It’s a time to indulge in activities and people that provide you with pleasure. Aim to repeat a success. Reconnections can be delightful. Your children can claim more of your attention or concern. It can be a significant transition time regarding their personal ambitions, career, or love life.
The new moon in Cancer July 18 is also hotwired by Mars, Uranus, and Pluto. Expect to have more than usual on the front burner. New starts are likely to get off to a faster than usual start. Note that Mars opposition Uranus can deliver something sudden or unexpected, plus or minus. Watch for opportunity, news, or a sudden insight. Mars/Uranus can also prompt a cut-off or breakthrough. Electrical, mechanical, or communications problems can happen too. Slow down, don’t jump to conclusions or race too far ahead. Be especially careful when driving or using sharp instruments. Accidents can happen.
July 27 to 31 ends the month on an even keel.
TAURUS (APRIL 20 – MAY 20)
Have you let some priorities slide while you have been coping elsewhere? The month’s start puts them on the front burner. You should feel a significant momentum shift now that both Venus and Saturn have recently changed direction. If you have had to give it up previously, the full moon in Capricorn on July 3 can put the control or decision back in your hands. Too, it can fast track you into a new reality. This is a time to aim for something more substantial to show for your self. Out of impulse, necessity, or surprise opportunity, you can be compelled to jump into something, or to provoke someone or something into action. Watch for an important announcement, invitation, or news. Although it may be crunch time, this full moon solidifies a necessary step forward. In fact, it could produce immediate relief or improvement. Things can have a strange or exciting twist. Somehow it all works out.
This full moon and Mercury’s retrograde cycle (July 14 to Aug 7) can find you re-visiting or confronting your past in some significant way. A key person, perhaps a family member or someone from your past, can act as messenger or catalyst.
Beyond the focus on home base and security matters, Mercury retrograde prompts you to explore a major personal renovation. It is time to figure out what you really want for yourself and what’s truly in your best interests. Learning to love yourself more – what would that look like/feel like? It’s time to test the deeper waters.
July 17 to 19 is a time of action and acceleration, of breaking free or switching-it-up in some essential, perhaps unexpected way. From the new moon on July 19, to the sun’s advance into Leo on July 22 and through month’s end, you should find you are gaining on yourself and extracting from the best of the moment too. Still, remember that Mercury retrograde puts the temporary into play. Go with what’s working for you in the moment and know that there’s still more change and adjustment ahead.
GEMINI (MAY 21-JUNE 21)
One way or another, the start of the month places you at a finish line. Vacation time is well deserved, but if you are back to work instead, it’s a re-fresh page. Important matters can’t be put off any longer. Take care of business and you’ll immediately liberate yourself. You could hit a wall first, but even so, the result of the Capricorn full moon on July 3 is likely to refortify your resolve, your confidence, and improve the lines of communication. A new solution, approach, goal, or project can be just the ticket. Business or more personal in nature, a budding relationship can give you glimmers of so much more to come.
After eight months of forcing you to clean-it-up and get your act together, Mars now leaves Virgo. July 3 to Aug 23, Mars in Libra can make life somewhat easier to take on. You should find you gain a bettered equilibrium with children, lovers, creative endeavour, and professional matters too. Overall, Mars in Libra puts you on at least a temporary upswing.
By the second weekend of the month, it’s time to switch it up again. July 13 to 15, keep yourself free and available, and leave room for the unexpected. Mercury in Leo begins retrograde on this weekend. Through August 7, let the good times roll. Go ahead, let swept up in the delights of moment, but don’t let yourself get caught up or entangled in drama. As is typical of the cycle, you can re-meet with folks you haven’t seen for awhile. Mercury retrograde can keep you on the go. If it’s time for a big purchase, such as new wheels, new devices, etc. do your research and try to hold off until after the retrograde cycle is complete. If you can’t wait that long, July 30 and 31 are okay dates to purchase, invest, or sign a contract.
July 17 to 19 can get you over a hump and/or relieve added pressure or concern. You can surpass personal or outside resistance. The new moon can help you to resolve a dilemma or uncertainty. July 27 to 31 finish the month on a smooth comes-together track.
CANCER (JUNE 22-JULY 22)
The compelling or overpowering is at work. July 3, the full moon could pull you into something irresistible or unavoidable. This isn’t the time to skirt around. Face it head on. Short and snappy does it best. Mercury well aligned with Uranus on this full moon suggests a twist of event or some new prospect places you at an advantage. Too, Mercury in Leo can provide you with added confidence, sharper creativity and instinct, and a faster reaction time. You could feel prompted to be more of a risk taker.
From the full moon July 3 to the new moon on July 18, you’ll find life clips along at a fairly good pace. Family, health, vacations, the hunt for new digs or a new pay-check can keep you well occupied. Note that once Uranus (July 13) and Mercury (July 14) turn retrograde, you could be redirected by circumstance, or find a need to pull back yet again. July 13 – 15, take the weekend off, go your own way, or at least allow yourself extra leg room. Inspirations of the moment could be quite interesting. A sudden flash or revelation can steer you onto an alternate course. Also allow for the unexpected.
You want more, you deserve more. How are you going to get it? Through Aug 7, Mercury retrograde can take you through a significant rethink. You could find you become naturally more resourceful at seeking and creating better advantages. This transit can find you enjoying your own company more and/or keep you better entertained. You can indulge or spend more too. You are wise to keep extra funds on reserve. Know that Mercury retrograde can hit you with an unexpected and perhaps costly expense.
The new moon in Cancer on July 18 can get you hot-wired again. Something immediate and unexpected can thrust a switch July 17 -19. Watch these fast action dates for added excitement, fresh challenge, or opportunity. July 30 and 31 ends the month on a hits-it-right, synchronistic wrap-up.
LEO (JULY 23-AUG 22)
Work, health, problem-solving, or a deadline can require an extra push on the full moon July 3. Try something new, stay creative, and you should get yourself there. And if for some reason, you can’t get it handled, stick with what is falling into place and let the rest sort itself out. Sometimes a short back-away can set it straight for you.
One way or another mobilizing Mars in Libra, July 3 to Aug 7, will get you moving. This Mars placement increases physical activity, intellectual agility, and social opportunity. It can help you to connect the dots with greater ease, to better speak what’s on your mind and in your heart. From the look of the stars, you won’t be bored. You can be well entertained by a new interest, goal, or toy. Positive motivation seems to be readily found.
Uranus retrograde, beginning July 13, adds more flint to the start of Mercury retrograde on July 14. You could suddenly change your mind, plans, or interests. Stay open to anything goes. While Mars in Libra is a social influence, Mercury in retrograde can keep you occupied with personal and private matters. When this is case, you could find you spend more time alone. Of course, more quality “me time” is a good first pick.
Too, this Mercury retrograde cycle is a time to be more selective regarding who and what gets a piece of you. When it comes to making progress with health, appearance, and other improvement mandates, Mercury in Leo can increase your success ratio better than the recent long hard slog of Mars in Virgo. Use the new moon July 18 to kick-start a new fitness program or set another personal goal into action. July 17 – 19 are particularly hot-wired for action. Get started and you’ll be off the ground and into the air in a flash.
End of the month can confirm a decision or help you to settle on a plan, purchase, or to negotiate a deal or contract term. For the most part, you should find intention setting, introductions, and action-taking produces expected results. While it is best to wait until after Aug 7 when Mercury retrograde completes to make a significant purchase, investment, or commitment, if you can’t wait, use July 28, 30, or 31.
VIRGO (AUG 23-SEPT 22)
The start of the month can put extra on your plate but you are likely to find you cope surprisingly well. In fact, although the unexpected may have recently knocked you off your stool, improvement is in the works. Don’t slack off. It’s important to make full use of the moment and of every opportunity you have. Through desire or necessity, the full moon July 3 keeps you especially goal driven. You want results, you need them too. Take control, call yourself to task. It’s up to you to set your own power play in motion.
After eight long months of one thing after another, Mars finally leaves your sign. Through out Mars in Virgo, you’ve been tested. Perhaps you’ll wonder why you have had to face so much, but while you have been distracted with these outer challenges, inwardly you’ve honed, refined, and grown. Perhaps you are too close to it now to see how you’ve changed, but know they’ll be a ready source of strength from here on in. Of course, there will be more challenge and more growing yet. Just know each time it gets wonky, you are adding good substance to your coping skills.
Uranus retrograde begins on July 13 just before Mercury retrograde begins on July 14. This duo can create added chaos, uncertainty, or loss of control. The unexpected can hit you financially or emotionally. If it wasn’t meant to be, these dates, and the dates around the new moon July 18, can pull a sudden plug. On the other hand, the transits can spark a hidden advantage or added support. Someone unexpected could play rescuer/saviour. Off and on throughout the month the stars mix saving grace within the confronting moment. Breathe and you’ll be better able to navigate your way through the tricky stuff.
Mars in Libra helps you to reconcile with yourself and the moment with more finesse. Professional and romantic, it can make for better relationship harmony too. Whatever makes it past the first week of Mercury retrograde and the new moon on July 18 will move to a much smoother plateau. By the end of the month you should feel more secure, that things are working out as they should.
LIBRA (SEPT 22-OCT 22)
The Capricorn full moon on July 3 can bring you to an important finish-line or end of the road, but rather than dwell on this fact, fresh, new, and free now turns up your heat. Don’t waste a precious minute. Get onto next, stat.
For the past eight months, so much has been churning and burning inside of you. It’s been developing all around you too. Venus in retrograde has necessitated a re-evaluation. Whether you’ve noticed it or not, you are also now working your way through a key karmic threshold. Mars in Libra, July 3 to Aug 7, provides an opportunity to try more on for size. Forming facilitating alignments with Jupiter, Ceres, Venus, and the karmic axis throughout the month, you should find you can slip into a new groove quite readily. The more acclimatized you are, the smoother the journey gets, the more your confidence will grow.
Mercury in Leo retrograde begins on July 13, just one day after the start of Uranus retrograde. These dates can play havoc with plans, good intentions, communications, devices, and transportation. Heed the usual retrograde warnings, and keep ready for the spur of the moment to take you over. A revision or altogether shift of direction could prove to work out for the best.
Goals, plans, or interests that seemed so important just a short while ago, can be super-ceded by other priorities while Mercury tours retrograde. On the other hand, pleasure, play and the season’s best can claim you too. As is typical of the retrograde, you can re-meet acquaintances, colleagues, friends, or past loves. You may be surprised to find that something you thought was past its due date has yet more life in it. There may be an important career, financial, or family matter to revisit.
The days around the new moon July 18 can bring something or someone into sudden awareness. There can be added excitement or a new reason to get up and go. Spontaneity serves you well but be forewarned that in the heat of the moment, impulsiveness can get the better of you. Mars in opposition to Uranus take you on a wild ride and/or prompt you to take risks that you would not ordinarily. On the cautionary note, someone could jump out or fire at you unexpectedly. Take good precautions. Stay alert when driving or using sharp instruments. Know that a confrontational or provoking moment can rapidly get too far out of hand.
July 22 through the end of the month you are likely to focus even more attention toward personal, social, and seasonal pleasures. July 28 to 31 can deliver the gold.
SCORPIO (Oct 23~Nov 22)
Start of the month can bring important news, added acknowledgment, an award, or change your official status in some significant way. Then again, the full moon July 3 can simply provide respite from work or an opportunity to enjoy a long awaited get-together.
Health or work-wise July 13 to 15 could put you on a temporary backtrack. It can be difficult to stay on top of all you need to as first Uranus, and then Mercury begin retrograde. Save yourself the frustration and unplug instead. It is an ideal weekend to shift gears.
Mercury retrograde can put an added spotlight on a significant individual, perhaps a parent, mentor, past lover, or someone who is no longer present in your daily life. Too, this transit can prompt you to check in with yourself more. Do you still want what you have set up for yourself? It can be a time to reconsider career, personal, financial goals and priorities.
Travels of the mind, body, and/or heart, the take flight new moon on July 18 can feel liberating. Beyond a good time to break-free from the usual grind, you can find you experience a sudden personal breakthrough. On the others, Mars in opposition to Uranus can bring something unexpected. Stay alert and play it safe.
The sun’s entrance into Leo on July 22 can make you even more goal oriented. Your expectations are high, for yourself, for your pleasure pursuits, and for your desired gains. No matter how difficult the trek, you’ll naturally focus on making the most of the moment, and extracting the best out of yourself and from others too.
Mars in Libra, July 3 to Aug 8, can offer a welcome respite from the miscellaneous back and forth, and the barrage of people you’ve had to deal with over these past 8 months. A better balance is what you need most. Along with Mercury’s retrograde cycle, it’s time to focus more on you and on the people who count the most.
The month is likely to end much less harried than it was in the first half. You should find your coping skills and interactions to run much smoother and that satisfaction can be more readily found.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22~DEC21)
Beginning of July puts you on a fired-up initiative. By the full moon on July 3, you’ll have already covered significant ground. The Capricorn full moon can bring to your destination or it can bring you to the end of your rope. It can also be a crunch time for taking care of business, financial or emotional. No matter what this full moon delivers, you won’t stop or stall here for long. “Next” is already in the works.
You are likely to say that 8 months of Mars in Virgo has been 8 months too long. Of course throughout this time you have been working the kinks out of the system, and if hasn’t been entirely fun, it has been productive. Even if you don’t feel you are as far along as you want to be at this particular moment, at least you can say you’ve checked a significant amount off the “no-not-nope” list.
Mars in Libra can be an easier sail, especially regarding social interactions, although July 17 and 18, the transits can trigger buttons or bring you to another sudden cut-off point or catapult you into something unexpected yet again. Mid month can be a departures or arrival time. If it is irreconcilable differences time, the goodbye is likely to be agreed upon by all as for the best.
While Mercury in Leo travels retrograde, July 14 to Aug 8, more self-pampering is in order. Gift yourself with ample leisure time as best you can. A creative project or lover will reward you for the extra time you devote to them. Lavish on your kids and they’ll love you more too. Then again, it might be a time to step back and let the kids run their own show.
On another note, Mercury retrograde can make you more consciousness of what you have been missing or missing out on. The cycle sharpens your awareness so that you can do something about it. Read and heed those inner signals. They’ll give you an opportune leg up.
CAPRICORN (DEC 22~JAN 19)
July 1 and 2 puts it on escalation. Whatever you have been resisting or bottling up could get the better of you once the full moon in Capricorn on July 3 blows it out of the water. The advance of Mars into Libra just a few hours before the full moon occurs is another influence that can knock you off balance. It could fuel extremity and reactive emotions. Although the moment may or may not be handled with finesse, the release can be long over due. The full moon could prove to be the liberating moment you have been waiting for. Whether it’s attainment or upset, what follow should deliver relief, an ease-up, and a new page.
Make the most of these first two weeks of the month. July 14, just one day after Uranus turns retrograde, Mercury will do the same. Plans or good intentions can be usurped on these dates. Stay ready for anything goes and switch tracks as the moment dictates.
Mercury retrograde in Leo, July 14 to Aug 7, calls for a re-address of financial or relationship commitments or obligations. While it can be the time to open up a new dialogue or negotiation, it can also be a time to stand back until you gain better objectivity. A trial separation or at least more time apart can provide greater perspective.
The new moon July 18 can bring raw emotions to the surface yet again. Mars in opposition to Uranus can make for a volatile or reactive exchange. This new moon can deliver a decisive make-it or break-it moment.
July 22, the sun joins Mercury in Leo. By this point forward, you should feel that you are starting to make more positive strides.
July 31, Venus completes with Saturn, an information gathering set-up transit that began when Venus turned retrograde mid May. July 28 through 31 can be affirming, confirming, or solidifying. Even though Mercury is still in retrograde, July 27 to 31 can be a time to sign, purchase, commit, or implement.
AQUARIUS (JAN 20~FEB 18)
For the past eight months, it has been one thing after another with very little let up. Mars in Virgo has kept you struggling to clear up finances and relationship issues. While you have made progress, you are likely to say you aren’t as far along as you would like to be.
The end of June has brought the end of both Venus and Saturn retrograde. These two redirections and the ongoing Uranus/Pluto transit will facilitate better timing now. Still, there’s still one more hoop to jump through. I’ll talk about Mercury retrograde in a moment.
The Capricorn full moon on July 3 can relieve a bottle-neck of pressure. You won’t fully realize how much you have carried until it is finally released. A few hours prior to the peak of the full moon, Mars advances into Libra. July 3 to Aug 7, Mars lightens up on you and provides readier access to better options. Relationship matters can smooth out. It also helps you to better ease along life’s twists and turns, to find more of what you are looking for, and to reconcile with your inner self too.
Once both Uranus (July 13) and Mercury (July 14) turn retrograde it will be time to plug into a different outlet. Mark the dates of July 13 to 15 as a weekend to stay vigilant for unexpected derailment. Stay flexible with plans.
Mercury travels retrograde in the sign of Leo this time. Who and what gets the best of you? Where are your money, time, and heart best spent? Are you getting enough support, encouragement, consideration, or love? The cycle brings these issues into question and/or can find you competing with yourself or another. An important repeat or revisit will help you work your way to finding a missing key or to do essential repair and healing. A special someone can appear, re-appear to claim more attention from you. Someone influential can act as a teacher, mentor, agent, inspiration, healer, or bridge builder.
The new moon July 18 will offer a more intense kick-start than usual. Forming aspects on July 17 and 18, to first Jupiter (trine), then Pluto, and Uranus (squares), Mars is on a big push. It can be an ideal time to make a break for it. These dates can bring whatever has been brewing in the background or seeping into consciousness into much fuller view.
Leo month, starting July 22 can offer respite from recent struggles and labours. It’ll be time to lighten up and enjoy more. July 28 to 31, the stars keep it humming along.
PISCES (FEB 19~MARCH 20)
For the past eight months, Mars in Virgo has kept you forging ahead, but it is likely you have carried anxiety with you every step of the way. The full moon July 3 finds you surpassing a significant, perhaps long-awaited, threshold. While there’s still plenty of virgin ground to navigate on the road ahead, you are now armed with enough experience and hindsight knowledge. You should gain better confidence and traction from here. Mars in Libra, July 3 to Aug 7 can help you to reconcile with moment with greater ease and less worry or strain. You should find relationships flow smoother and concerns ease up regarding loved ones and finances.
July 13 to 15, cut yourself and others extra slack. Uranus turns retrograde on July 13 and Mercury turns retrograde on July 14. Put yourself on stand-by. Take it moment to moment.
Mercury in Leo retrograde, July 14 to Aug 7 puts emphasis on work, health, improvement mandates, equipment, and transportation. Added attention can focus on what you are lacking, missing, or missing out on. This increased awareness calls for you to address necessary improvements and to search for greater personal satisfaction. It will keep you exploring until you find the right filler, replacement, or more workable combination. Heed the usual Mercury retrograde advice. Revisit, revise, redo; guard health, play it safe, heed early warning signals. Don’t take chances with allergies, drugs, alcohol, or prescriptions, worn or faulty equipment, transportation, or communication routes. Don’t lock yourself into anything major unless it is unavoidable.
The sun’s entrance into Leo July 22 can turn up the spotlight on key issues or problems. It can also illuminate better avenues and solutions. July 28 to 31, you’ll find it all comes together well.
