April/May Overview 2022

Venus in Pisces, starting April 5, can smooth over rough edges and/or make for an easier, more fluid pace. Uncertainty, confusion, or dilemma can continue, but progressively, you’ll see your way clear. Look to April 9, 10 and the weeks that follow to fill in the missing blanks and to give you a better sense of direction.

Jupiter/Neptune Grand Conjunction in Pisces, April 12:
On April 12, Jupiter meets with Neptune. The duo come full circle (forming conjunctions) every 13 years, but each time they do, it is in a different sign. The last time they met in the sign of Pisces was 166 years ago! Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, and Jupiter was the ruler of this sign before Neptune was discovered. (For some, Jupiter is still the ruler, or at least the co-ruler of Pisces). This iconic Jupiter/Neptune transit marks 2022 as a peak year regarding large scale events and global matters. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is but one of the headlines to attest to that statement.

Jupiter/Neptune in Pisces greatly increases potentials at all levels, plus and minus. The way forward is through the uncharted and unforeseen. The lines are blurred, and the windshield is fogged up. We must rely on our vehicle’s headlights to guide us through the near range and hope that once the long-range vista is in view, it will be a landscape/a vision that we will welcome. Look beyond present challenges. Whether you believe it or not, the universe is always conspiring on your behalf. Opportunity is always within reach.

Under Jupiter/Neptune, a subtle shift of intention or approach could produce a seismic shift. Do not under-estimate the soft wind. Seek inspiration in the small moments as well as the big ones. Ride the good wave when you see it. When you don’t know which way to turn, trust the ocean’s currents to deliver you to your destination shoreline. Venus and Mars in Pisces:
Venus tours Pisces from April 5 to May 2. Mars tours Pisces from April 14 to May 24. On the minus end, Mars can target where you might feel/be most vulnerable. Covid is still of concern. Please put added attention toward protecting your immune system. It is wise to play it safe, especially when uncertainty reigns and you can’t see your way clear. Also, protect your passwords, check your blind-spots regularly, and guard against unnecessary loss. This advice is also worth heeding for the next Mercury retrograde cycle which is just around the corner (May 10 to June 3). Mercury retrograde begins in Gemini (4:51 Gemini) and backtracks into Taurus from May 22 to June 3 (finishes at 26:05 Taurus).

On the plus end, Venus and Mars in Pisces are wonderful for creative enterprise, a spiritual quest or  vacation, for rekindling the romance, and for finding inspiration where and when you least expect to. Your dream cycle can become more active, this in terms of processing and clearing unresolved emotions, as well as providing messages and clues. Set quality time aside for yourself. Replenish, relax, re-hydrate, and get more sleep! Aim to go with the flow rather than push or force yourself unnecessarily. Pay attention to hints, to subtle energies and vibes. They are clues to so much more.

Full Moon in Libra, April 16:
April 16 delivers a page turner full moon in Libra. Relationships, circumstances, and/or your decision-making process can swing from one extreme to the other. Thanks to Pluto (in square aspect), the full moon weekend (and days that follow) can see a significant corner turned, not only regarding your personal interactions and creative process, but also regarding the outer world action too, i.e., matters to do with diplomacy and alliances, justice, the law, economics, interest rates, public figures, etc. April 17, Mercury/Uranus (conjunction) can produce a sudden insight, or something unexpected.

Mercury enters Gemini and Pluto in Capricorn stations retrograde on April 29. Coinciding with the last day to file personal taxes, April ends on a partial solar eclipse in Taurus (April 30, 10:28 Taurus). Drawing from Uranus in Taurus (balsamic conjunction) and Venus/Jupiter (new phase conjunction) in Pisces, this eclipse can uncover lucrative potential or an opportunity to recoup what has been lost. On the other hand, it can produce increased or unexpected expenses or financial loss, so be careful regarding investments, regarding time, money, or heart.
