September Forecast intro:
If you have experienced the lead-in to September as a bumpy ride, or especially catapulting or instigating, know that the stars continue to be energized under the magnifying influence of summer eclipses and the super new moon of August 20. Mercury retrograde, the third of five Saturn/Uranus oppositions, and the recent karmic axis sign shift suggest the catalytic times will continue. Case in point, note that milestone passages have continued: the recent death of a revered former South Korean president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kim Dae-jung, (credited for his reconciliation efforts with North Korea) and the passing of beloved (albeit personally flawed) US icon, Senator Edward Kennedy, the old guard/lion of the senate, patriarch of a dynastic family that has often been dubbed as US royalty.
Check back in my forecast archives to review what I have written on the Saturn/Uranus cycle. Briefly, this groundbreaking, and in many cases earth shattering cycle (figuratively/literally) positions us now at the big picture reality checkpoint (the past catching up to the present, the past colliding with the future.) We can no longer stand on the outskirts/sidelines of necessity. Over this two-year transition cycle, the base-line formulas for our everyday existence will be significantly and forever altered. The past key marker points of this cycle have coincided with Obama’s election (Nov 4) and Wall Street & Auto industry crisis/bailouts (Feb 5). The next fork in the road occurs on Sept 15, when Saturn and Uranus oppose for the third time. While the actual day itself may be eventful, know that the acceleration influence of this next Saturn/Uranus opposition is ignited for most of the month. For the US populace, the clash over medical system reform provides a descriptive example of this key restructuring period.
To date, Uranus (awakenings, shockwaves) has been navigating as the lead influence of this planetary pairing. As of Aug 21, Saturn (karmic manifesto planet) assumes command of the control panel. Following on the heels of this recent “busting up the concrete” phase, Saturn’s new command at the helm suggests we are entering a constructive building period. Having said that, note that the intensity dial is firmly set, and that we are still on an accelerated collision course; more of the unexpected will be met ahead.
Stirring the currents, (plus for some, minus for others), the full moon in Pisces on Sept 4 provides a trigger for the Sept 15 Saturn/Uranus opposition. There is potential to be further opened, inspired, and attuned to a richly generating creation process. Conversely, the full moon in the sign of the dual fish can catch us off guard and find us even more vulnerable, susceptible, confused, or prone to the illusionary. (Perhaps it is a mix of both realms.) That which has been pending or has disappeared into the forgotten file can resurface. We can get easily overwhelmed; things can mushroom beyond reasonable or beyond control. Is the swine flu a collective threat or simply the paranoia of overly anxious administrators? At this point, who can tell? When viewpoints are blurred or obscured by fear, anxiety, mistrust, (and other numbing or brainwashing mechanisms), how can valid distinctions be made? (Case in point, the US town hall meetings.) When the Pisces archetype is activated as it by the both this month’s full moon, Mercury retrograde, and the longer transit of Uranus in Pisces (to spring 2011) we can buy into the hype and hysteria; we can miss the point more than usual.
Venus opposing Neptune on the full moon suggests that not one of us is immune to the moment, and that ultimately, we all share the same the same hopes and dreams for a brighter future ahead. Before meeting the ideal, false bubbles will need to pop. On a completely different note, the full moon sets the stage for a great weekend to unplug and to get away from it all as best you can.
Just as we are getting back to school and work routines, September 6 to 29 dishes up another go ‘round of Mercury retrograde. The cycle will start in Libra but backs into Virgo on Sept 17 (through Oct. 9) Mercury retrograde in Libra antics features partnerships, relationships, our social life and the social climate. Sept 6 to Sept 17 puts the spotlight on needs, dependencies, the one-sided-ness of give and take, imbalances, and the tolls of our estimations, projections, and expectations in the above regard. Mercury retrograde in polarizing Libra can prompt legal, financial and contract disputes; more court battles and heated political debates are to be expected. Once Mercury retrograde backs into Virgo, we could experience even more unraveling, complexity, problems, mistakes, complaints, criticism, breakdowns, time-wasting and repair work. The sign of Virgo correlates to work, employees, everyday schedules and routines, health, training/education, pets/small animals. You could find yourself facing a breakdown, resurfacing, or a resurrection of something you assumed was already fixed, completed, a done deal, out of the way, a non-issue, etc. Mercury retrograde in Virgo can expose errors in judgment, flaws in the system or in the rationale; also, it can show you what you missed the first time around. Labor disputes or strikes, equipment, vehicle and communication breakdowns, illness, misdiagnosis are typical of Mercury retrograde. Mercury retrograde will make a series of aspects between Sept 17 – 24.
Positively, Mercury retrograde can bring second chances; it is the right time to try again, to retrace steps, to revisit, return, revise, redo. Note that Mercury will be highly influential past the end of its retrograde cycle. Oct 1 – 10, Mercury will again ignite the Saturn/Uranus opposition.
As stated in the previous month’s forecasts, to March 2011, the karmic axis traveling through Cancer/Capricorn draws attention to how past choices now support, limit, dominate, and define our present reality base. This in turn shapes and dictates the range of options for where we can go from here. It is a critical time to reset priorities.

ARIES (MARCH 20 – APRIL 19)
The past eighteen months have likely put a spotlight on career and creative ambitions/successes. This time has also seen a progressive restructuring of your relationship to your children, your social life, and perhaps it’s done a revamp on your love life too. No matter whether these areas have been rewarding or challenging, they have served as the necessary catalyst for where you are now. Prompted by the nodal axis sign switch, the next 18 months can be even more result producing. This next stage brings a time of ripening. Life may deliver a forward thrust of significance, one that moves you past a recent “hurry up and wait” holding pattern. It is the right time to show up for yourself in a new way and to do a one-eighty reverse from your “normal” ways of taking action. This cycle delivers a potent seeding time for a new career or professional direction, one that can deliver more personal recognition and sense of achievement. Of course, responsibility can pile up too, especially re the needs of aging parents and children. The empty nest, downsizing, or retirement can be the key prompts of your accelerated personal reinvention. Typical of Mercury’s retrograde cycle, you can expect to reconnect with clients, friends, and past loves/passions. Partnership agreements can get complicated while Mercury retrograde tours Libra. Mercury retrograde in Virgo can put you back to work; it can see you resume something that had been stalled or that had been left unfinished. When Mercury retrograde tours Virgo, twists and turns are to be expected, one thing leads to another (plus or minus.) As best you can, use the month ahead to simplify, to add finishing touches, to upgrade, renovate, resume projects or ambitions, and to undertake the necessary improvements (health, work, relationships, schedules, etc.)
TAURUS (APRIL 19 – MAY 20)
If you can squeeze it in, the full moon Sept 4 can be the perfect launch to a four-day getaway or pleasure weekend. Once back to the grindstone time arrives, you can expect to find yourself in the thick of it right away. At the start of Mercury retrograde, make haste to reconnect with clients, VIPs, or anyone else that can help you to get to where you need to go/support your journey forward. Once Mercury retrograde backs into Virgo (Sept 17, the day before the new moon), you could find yourself on a productive roll. In fact, things can move along quite quickly; a potential could suddenly reveal itself and perhaps steer you into an unexpected direction, a temporary sidetrack, or an add-on. Venus in Leo can make you the “flavor” of the moment; you could win the popularity contest as everyone’s favorite go-to (like it or not.) To know that you are first on everyone’s pick list can bolster you with added confidence. The new moon Sept 17 is also favorable to you. You should be able to see how to successfully fill the gap, to play expert problem solver, or to take advantage of good timing on your side. Conversely, too much on your plate can be your primary complaint. Venus and Leo, along with the new moon and Saturn/Uranus opposition can also highlight family matters; perhaps one special family member will claim your attention. The karmic axis shift favors expansion in all areas, so by all means make additions to your repertoire. Set yourself free/become a free agent, broadcast, advertise, publish, perform, learn more, network, circulate, relocate. The stars continue to push you to make significant, sweeping and overall change to the structure of your life. The Saturn/Uranus opposition prompt on Sept 15 can deliver a new career or personal life prospect that could set the course for some time to come.
GEMINI (May 20 – June 20/21)
While the personal, family, and professional advances prompt by the stacked deck (or nail-biting) Saturn/Uranus opposition can initially be pressure-filled, disconcerting, disruptive, or anxiety-producing, the karmic axis now serves to turn your attention away from losses and lost liters, and to turn it toward productivity, re-stabilization, and new growth. Time is of the essence; you could be forced to hustle or scramble more. Focus efforts toward where you can plug in, and what you can do given the present limitations. Concentrate on the small steps and the near reach, don’t let yourself get so overwhelmed by the beyond control/the externals. You can’t afford to sink into ineffectiveness or paralysis now. Streamlining, back to basics, or starting from scratch again can be your most productive angle. The nodal axis prompt will eventually help you get better stabilized and to harness a sense of continuity, security, and self-assurance that might have previously escaped your control. Can you build it better from here? Absolutely, you can. Saturn/Uranus and the nodal axis sign shift is set to help you to discover more inner resources/a more workable tool kit for the journey forward.
Start of Mercury retrograde can ignite a creative, social, or romantic spurt. Someone influential could make an appearance or feature prominently this month, whether it is a teacher or body of work that inspires you, or a friend who sways you to a higher performance (whether through competition or admiration.) You could gain popularity or special attention in someway too. It’s a good time to advertise, to exhibit, and to show off what you can do. While Mercury retrograde tours Libra, you can impress and be impressed too. This Mercury retrograde can also exaggerate the imbalances, of a particular relationship or your present circumstances. Know that relationships that start under Mercury retrograde can have a déjà vu or fated sense to them, but they also tend to be short-lived. Mercury retrograde in Libra can reveal errors in terms of assessments, evaluations, and projections. What looks so right in the moment can quickly prove to be an expensive step in the wrong direction; remember this when you are tempted to cross the line from friends to lovers. Once Mercury retrograde backs into shortfall Virgo, things may not be so easy, cozy, or problem free. The sign of Virgo correlates to guilt and misgivings. The Full Moon, Sept 4 can deliver a particularly challenging few days; Sept 13 – 17, things can seem final or complete, but there’s probably more to consider, to add, to hash-out, or pay for; Sept 21 can bring a push, a difficult go or communiqué; Sept 22 can bring a turning point or threshold crossing of significance.
CANCER (June 21/22 – July 22)
Mars in Cancer (now to mid October) can increase your physical drive and your ambitious side. It can be a pivotal month. Depending on how well you play it, you could find yourself quite far along. Sept 4 – 7 can put you on a mission. You should find yourself in good fighting spirit, figuratively and temperamentally too. As Mercury turns retrograde, “almost there” could translate into “back to the drawing board”. Be reminded that Mercury retrograde is a useful transit for soul searching and for creative attunement, so if you have a particular project or relationship to work on, give it your absolute all and don’t get sidetracked with the extras, the trivial or the temporary. Sept 10 can be a particular fruitful day; gain, advantage, understanding, compassion and luck are on your side. Mercury retrograde in Virgo can be quite productive, especially for studies, practice, trial runs, re-negotiating, reworking, or rearrangements. The karmic axis sign shift can act somewhat like the off/on of a light switch. Re relationships, creativity, endeavors, ambitions, circumstances, etc., a dry spell may shift into a quenching/generating or lucrative cycle; a generating vein could dry out or run out of steam. The next 18 months are definitive in terms of your future. For the most part, as you move through this cycle, you won’t have a full sense of where it is leading to. Typically, Mercury retrograde in Virgo can challenge you with inopportune timing, faulty equipment or shoddy services, misdiagnosis, communication, and transportation problems. You may need to revise or repair; perhaps you’ll have an opportunity to clear up something that started on the wrong foot. Sept 13 – 23, can put you in the thick of things. It can a time of grueling hard work or challenge, coupled with great potentials, success, or results of significance. Conversely, it can be a few days of great burden, loss, disappointment, finality, and endings. The transits can ignite a serious mindset, or a sobering, disappointing, or even grave overtone. Saturn’s influence can bring you to a significant threshold, endpoint, conclusion, or accomplishment.
LEO (JULY 22 – AUG 22)
Progressively, the advance of the nodal axis can help you to shift off from that sense of disconnectedness and to close the gap between intentions, actions, and desired results. The next eighteen months, prompts a critical time to figure out how to do it better. Along the way, you’ll hone better resources, skills and response mechanisms. The full moon on Sept 4 signals an ignition point of significance. While the Saturn/Uranus opposition occurs on Sept 15, you are going to feel the effects for the entire month, starting with the full moon activation on Sept 4. The start of Mercury retrograde could see you at a personal highpoint; a resilient fresh start attitude is your best wardrobe look. Venus in Leo (to Sept 20) places you at advantage and finds you in popular favor. Sept 10/11, Venus and Jupiter oppose; this could be a joyous time to reconnect or to celebrate. Travel, public performance, official events, conferences, workshops, open houses, etc. can also top up what should be pleasure-filled weekend. Venus opposing Jupiter could also see a send off of significance; these days can see big gains or big losses (watch your stocks.) While Venus is in your sign, enjoy the positive attention, but don’t get too sure of yourself. Once Mercury turns retrograde, your Midas touch may not be as reliable. Sept 17 through the end of Mercury retrograde, you could find nothing comes easy and that you have to work harder for each gain/each penny earned. Mercury retrograde in Virgo can expose you, deplete you, or make you less sure of yourself. Guard your health, your opinions, your secrets and your valuables during this time.
VIRGO (Aug 22 – Sept 21)
The stars continue to find you putting yourself through the paces again this month. For those of you who are on track, your take-charge initiative can lead a wonderfully empowered/successfully generating time. For those of you who continue to buy into your own delusion and project outwardly to some “if only” target, you could be setting yourself up for a significant carpet pull, whether the hard fall occurs while Mercury retrograde is in effect, or later down the road when you have even more to lose. The full moon September 4 can intensify your current swim – whether it is against the currents (increased polarization, confusion, disillusionment, loss) or whether it is riding the wave (true calling, true love, ripening of prospects and potentials/creative wellspring, achievement.) The start of Mercury retrograde can bring you nearer to a break-free, breakout, or break-through point, but it appears there is further to go, more to invest, etc. before you can truly extricate or liberate yourself. Don’t bank on promises or potentials before the fact. Mercury retrograde highlights your survival issues (at all levels). You may see that you have been premature in your actions or estimations. Mercury retrograde in Libra highlights financial, relationship, health, and circumstance imbalances. Enmeshment and codependency issues need to be addressed. Once Mercury retrograde backs out of Libra and into Virgo on Sept 17, more problems or complexity can arise, but see it as a productive turning point. Once exposed and confronted, you’ll move onto a more workable stage of correction, healing, and resolution. For the next 18 months, the karmic axis sign shift raises your consciousness to what life and love requires of you next. This intensified personal reinvention cycle will see you even more determined to take control and to establish better boundaries.
LIBRA (SEPT 22 – OCT 22/23)
The nodal axis sign shift signals a time of personal and professional ripening. The next 18 months could see you rack up a number of personal firsts/milestones. Take steps to move in a new career direction, or work to secure your reputation among your already established audience. This karmic axis concentration can also require that you take on added commitment and responsibility, professionally and re home base too. While you can be stuck with a heavy load in some areas of life, streamlining and downsizing where possible is wise. The full moon in Pisces on Sept 4 could open things up unexpectedly, plus or minus. Around this time, you could feel yourself on a losing streak, or see something or someone meaningful to you could disappear. There can be confusion, misinterpretation, mistakes, misdiagnosis, disillusionment, grief, guilt, etc.
At the start of Mercury retrograde (in Libra) Sept 6, you could feel especially driven to fight for your independence and to sever ties with anyone or anything that you may think of as restrictive or unfair. As Mercury dips back into Virgo on Sept 17, your resolve could weaken, your need could grow, and you could discover that you were over hasty in opinions, blame, or actions taken. Conversely, Mercury retrograde can help you to readdress key issues, etc. It is a time of resuming or starting over. If you were inconsistent or couldn’t quite get there the first time, Mercury’s retrograde cycle can help/force you to make necessary adjustments/pick up missing keys in order to become more effective. Know also that a relapse of significance can occur. Guard your health, don’t gloss over anything, don’t take people for granted, etc. Know you can succumb to weakness, vulnerability, inferiority, emotionalism, or fear, especially when Mercury retrograde backtracks through Virgo. Challenges your security are meant to keep you humble, striving and improving. Expand your repertoire, your vision and your knowledge base; keep asking more questions and keep forging ahead.
SCORPIO (OCT 22/23 – NOV 21)
The full moon Sept 4 could put you in the spotlight in some special way. Of course, it could just signal the start of the long weekend and a well-deserved break before you go full tilt yet again. Over this next 18-month period, the nodal axis shift can see you expand horizons and your repertoire. More travel, public profiling, teaching, coaching, or performance appears to be written in your stars. Legal matters, marketing, writing, studies, and publishing ventures are also likely to consume more priority attention too. You may engage in more travel over this period; perhaps it is time to relocate. Mercury retrograde begins in a background position, so you may feel the effects on a subtler level than most. (Watch your health.) The Saturn/Uranus opposition on Sept 15 could bring the time to engage with someone of position and prestige. It could be a time of acknowledgment, reward, completion, and achievement for you too. It can also be a time to take a stand and to call a spade a spade, or to call it quits. Positively, Mercury retrograde can inspire a creative spurt. It could also do your love life justice too. On the flipside, Mercury retrograde could make you feel less certain; it could increase a sense of vulnerability or find your focus diffused or dissipated. You could become forgetful too, so pay extra attention every step of the way. Double-check that you have locked up appropriately and that you have all your belongings when you go. Your immune system can be somewhat compromised, so stand back/stay away from sick people. Once Mercury retrograde backs into Virgo (as of Sept 17), you are likely to have more to say/convey. You could find the need to sell harder or to interface with others more. This can be a time to resume negotiations or to reconnect with those who can further your ambitions. It is also a time to do corrections, repairs, and edits, to catch up with those haven’t gotten enough of you, to clear your pending files, and to fill in the gaps or missing blanks. Just prior to and following the new moon on Sept 21, you could see significant advances made, goals reached, or turning points surpassed as Mercury retrograde activates the Sun and Saturn.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV 21- DEC 21)
While good things and positive advances are on the roster for the month ahead, the full moon Sept 4 could produce a difficult or lost liter weekend, so try to minimize expectations/your high hopes, and take time off if you can. This full moon is an ignition point for the Saturn/Uranus opposition on Sept 15. Mercury’s retrograde influence could initially help you to reclaim/rebuild a past success, to extend your good run/good luck, or to rekindle a connection with someone of special influence (a lover, a teacher, someone who can open an important door for you.) It can be a time to travel, to promote, to set yourself free and/or to spread your wings. Legal settlements/dealings could work in your favor. Sept 10 can bring big news, an opportunity, travel/a visitor or launch-point of significance. On a more jarring note, the month ahead could bring unexpected complications and shortfalls. September is a transition month and there can be plenty of added adjusting, processing, and working out to do. Don’t bank on results and don’t jump to conclusions. You probably won’t know the solidness, security, real purpose, or benefit of anything until after the fact. Once Mercury retrograde backs into Virgo (Sept 17), you could feel less in control and more humbled by your present circumstances. You could find yourself under more pressure, with less time or financial margin and less emotional energy to spend too. Positively, you could begin to see in more practical terms. Mercury retrograde prompts a significant reassessment chapter. “Do I really need this/it/them?” is the appropriate measuring tape. Sept 13 – 17 can bring a professional peak, an official acknowledgment or status, a contract, a finalization, endpoint, or fruition point of significance. Sep 19 – 23 can bring a productive time to take it further and to review your next steps. This is a key time to do repair work, and for reclaiming, reconstruction, and resuming. The karmic axis sign shift begins you on an 18-month settling in/getting better situated cycle. The stars put the priority focus on the development of more security and self-consistency, especially re financial matters, intimate relationships, inner resources/self development, and creative output.
CAPRICORN (DEC 21 – JAN 19)
A fresh infusion is what you need and it seems this month is set to deliver big – hopefully it is on the plus side of things. In fact, everything that occurs now is likely to be big and/or feels overwhelming. Positively, there can be plenty to keep your inspiration fresh and your curiosity peaked. The full moon weekend brings an opportune time to squeeze in one last summer getaway. Of course, a stay-cation weekend can do the trick just as well. Thanks to Venus in Leo, your self worth and self-honoring seems to be gaining ground as September rolls round. Of course, you deserve to live it better. The start of Mercury retrograde puts the spotlight on your high expectations for a hefty return on your investments, professional, personal, romantic, financial. You can feel a sense of personal validation and reward, especially re love & money now (i.e.: partnership matters, official/personal recognition, estate matters, financial investments) official arrangements, agreements, wills/estates, and other financial matters. An important/substantial contract could be in the works, perhaps to do with business ownership, (re a collaboration on a new venture or a take over bid.) A family legacy/inheritance could bring substantial financial gain. Building, renovating, or setting-up shop cost over-runs are likely, especially around Sept 10. Your significant other could be meeting a higher level of personal success or you could witness them take big steps forward, professionally, health wise, materially. For some, parenting or the welfare (financial/emotional) of parents can consume your priority attention.
Mercury’s retrograde tour prompts you to address relationship expectations, needs and obligations. Is support one-sided? Is one on the give and the other on the take? Are you being recognized for all that you do? Once Mercury retrograde backs into Virgo, you may find advantages and saving graces can occur a reverse, roundabout, or unexpected manner. (i.e. one door closes, another opens; when you find yourself blocked, prevented, or run up against a wall, look for a more workable solution) are likely a way to modify, fine tune, make adjustments, and improve where it is needed the most. Sept 17 can bring you to a deadline, resolution, or finish line, perhaps earlier than you anticipated. The new moon on Sept 18 could see an exciting new direction open up. It could be the start of a new lifestyle, a new scholastic program or new career venture. This new moon also signals the right time to update your resume, go for an interview, launch a marketing campaign, network, to dive into a renovation project or to put more time into your writing project, research, etc. This exciting new moon could put you before the public, or see veer off in some unexpected direction. Stay alert, synchronicity could be wonderful opportune. The karmic axis shift into your sign brings a time of ripening, of culminating/fruition, and of new stage setting.
AQUARIUS (JAN 19 – FEB 18)
The full moon could put you at a loss or drain, (financial, emotional, material, physical, or re productive time.) Give in rather than struggle; book yourself time off and take a rest if you can. For those who are heading down the right track, the nodal axis shift can help you to feel better integrated and less like the odd man out. Along with the triple alignment of Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron, in Aquarius, this karmic axis shift can accelerate important personal and professional advances. It is an important time of breaking out of a rut, of both stage setting and of breaking new ground, for yourself and in regard to your work. Mercury’s retrograde tour, beginning in Libra can find you resuming creative projects or put you back in touch with people who can advance your success in the world. A past love or passion could be rekindled. Sept 6 to 17, can find you making good inroads. Keep your public profile on the notable dial, and to aim to be an attention getter. Socialize, network, advertise, sell, display, perform and/or teach. It is also a good time to enhance your physical appearance too. Mercury’s retrograde tour of Virgo can find you struggling with financial budgets, diet plans, and other fix-it programs. Sept 18 – 23 could bring you to a significant completion, deadline or end of the road. Still, there can be a residue of unfinished business and clean up to do until the middle of October when both Mercury and Venus surpass planet Saturn. The Saturn/Uranus opposition challenges you through work and health. You may discover what doesn’t work/what doesn’t fit/feel right before you find more workable/viable solutions. Know that each time you check (or strike) something or someone off the list, it will constitute an important step closer toward the goalpost.
PISCES (FEB 18 – MAR 20)
You can bank on allies Mars in Cancer, (your fighter spirit) and Venus in Leo (creativity, sense of deserving, positive attitude, past successes, helpful people) to help you navigate through the month. When it goes well, it goes very well, when it doesn’t, it is exhausting to say the least! Mercury retrograde can pile on the headaches, prep, repair, and clean-up work. The challenging full moon in Virgo Sept 4 ignites the Saturn/Uranus opposition; your apple cart could be upset yet again. People can disappoint you or shortchange you in some significant way. You could feel that you do not get enough answers or response from others, that they are too slow, or that they just don’t get it. The waiting game could be particularly challenging too. What is right and what isn’t should be obvious, but it isn’t always so. It can be time to say goodbye to a relationship or to give up the ghost on an ambition or project that simply has not generated well for you. Starting in Libra, Mercury’s retrograde tour brings finances and partnership matters into focus. Once Mercury retrogrades back into Virgo, work or health can take a turn. Take extra precautions with computers, vehicle, and equipment maintenance. Schedules, plans, or commitments can need to be revised. You can expect life/your hustle to get even busier. Items, help, or employees may need to be replaced. Your work, uncertainty, or guesswork can continue, but the new moon on Sept 18 can signal the start of better productivity and more viable options. Sept 19 to 24 sees you over a major threshold or hurdle. These dates can let you off the hook, remove a block, or bring you to a conclusion of significance, (a contract ending or goodbye, the end of a job or a health circumstance.) You could uncover or discover something significant that could provide a clue to the shape of things to come.
